"Next to a beautiful cove of Lake Mälaren, Vinterviken, and surrounded by gardens you find Alfred Nobel’s old dynamite factory, built in 1891. This stately brick building now houses the popular restaurant Winterviken – run by celebrity chef Mark Aujalay and his wife Erika. One of Stockholm's most beautiful places if you ask me." - Emma Sundh
Typical Swedish coffeehouse with cozy atmosphere serves coffee, desserts and fresh cooked food.

Famous dynamite building! Alfred. Like from Nobel Prize museum. Nice Park. Lake. Water sports. Beach. Family place. Walk. Hike. Animal petting nearby. Babies. Dogs. Shrine. Cafe. Gallery. Public toilets. Bunker. Residences. Just nice. Green.

Friendly staff with delicious food. The atmosphere is lovely and warm—a great location by the lake, perfect for a pleasant walk after having lunch or Fika at Winterviken. I can recommend this place!

About 60 grams of salmon for 185 sek. Complained and chef said this was according to their portions. Nice location but severely overpriced food and drinks

A really beautiful area near the center of Stockholm. Definitely worth the visit if you have some time. There is a big parking area to park the car free of charge. Take your swimming suit. You can jump into the water if it is warm enough.

It’s a great spot for a Sunday coffee I would totally recommend a walk in the area and also lunch at the restaurant ! There is a queue usually but it’s really nice 😊

Such a nice place until you try the food which was really disappointing. We had lunch here a couple of months ago and ordered the meat with some vegetables - it was impossible to chew, plus it was served cold. It’s a great spot to drop by on the weekend, but definitely not for ordering main dishes, maybe some drinks

Beautiful venue. Had a meal focused on low carbon emissions and plant protein. Left feeling very satisfied!

Yelp
Came here today with a couple of friends around 11am. It was very quiet at the beginning and later got very crowded. And a lot of people with small children. I ate a sandwich (54kr) and drank a hot chocolate. It was both very good. The building looks like a former barn or factory not quite sure about that but they did this beautiful conversion into a cafe place. Very cozy! I am sure during the summer this place must be beautiful!

Yelp
the ambience in Nobels old dynamite factory is truly a nice place for having a restaurant/Cafe. You can sit outside in the sun or take a walk after or befor the coffee. The cakes are pretty good quality and tasty. Prices are usual for swedish cafes. A little far off touristical routs though, but it is also interessting to see swedish kinds of small private gardens (allotment gardens - in Austria/Germany called Schrebergärten).
