We found this vineyard by chance and loved it so much. The staff are very friendly. Coffee was amazing (the best coffee that I’ve had recently). We enjoyed the food and prices are reasonable. I had an amazing time even though I don’t drink wine so you can enjoy your time at this place even if you don’t drink. Overall highly recommended!

We had the set menu for lunch. So much food! The kingfish was our favourite. Very fresh and delicious. It was lovely to have it with the wine pairing. Beautiful setting also.

Large winery with restaurant and tasting area. Set in gorgeous gardens and surrounding landscape. Delicious range of reds, whites and pinks. Post and rail fence is largest example I’ve ever seen!

My two sisters and I had lunch at Harry's Deli recently. From start to finish it was a delightful experience. We were welcomed by friendly staff, offered seating near to the open fire and our meals were delicious. The staff were lovely and attentive. I would recommend Harry's Deli as a great dining option in beautiful surroundings. Kim

Lovely place to have lunch. I ordered the Trott Pie and hubby had the Lamb shoulder with Hummus. The presentation was excellent, only thing was, maybe the chef could leave out the olives in the pie, as it gave it a briny bitterness to an otherwise perfect pie. Also my husband would have liked a couple of triangles of flatbread to go with his lamb and hummus. Wine was excellent I had the Catapult Shiraz, and hubby the Absconder Grenache.

Yelp
Despite a somewhat corporate feel, we were treated to personal, friendly service in a laid-back, uncrowded environment, with a wide variety of wines to try. All of them were good, but some of the single vineyard shiraz was especially good for the price, and their higher-end flagship wines (at $70/bottle) were excellent, including a rich, inky shiraz and the Absconder, an interesting and herbaceous grenache (this was my favorite overall, but we ended up buying a $35 Woodhenge shiraz)

Yelp
What is not to love about a winery in winter that has a wood fire going?? Upon entry we were greeted by the cellar door staff who apologized that the fire was not as warm as it should be, he didnt force us to have a tasting but more so just let us be as we walked around and just took in the place and the scenery. There is a lot art work around the place which you can wander through in your own time. The wine selection is nice and the staff are knowledgeable about the varieties. I did enjoy these wine more so a few years ago but in saying that you cant go past a glass (or bottle!) of Church Block. They have cheese and crackers for purchase if you want to have more than just a tasting where you can sit inside next to the fire or outside. They also have a box of toys in the cellar door corner to keep little people entertained.

Yelp
Wirra Wirra is one of my favorite winery. The guy serving was Chris a great guy so helpful and knowable. They have Harry's deli right there with a lot of great food choices but only wine tasted. We came away with 6 bottles. You can't go wrong with this winery. They have a bunch of fun events year round. A must visit!

Yelp
A delightful winery in the southern region of McLaren Vale, Wirra Wirra has some wonderful grounds, a fascinating cellar door with paintings framing the walls and a huge vintage bell christened The Angelus bell for all to ring. Kids are welcomed here as there is a kids corner whilst parents indulge in wine tasting and cheese platter. Some of my favourite drops would have to be the rich bodied Church Block and the delightful sweet Mrs Wigley Moscato. Wirra Wirra is just perfect in so many ways, it's perfect to visit during the day or a weekend getaway among the stunning views of McLaren Vale.

Yelp
Wirra Wirra admitedly doesn't make my favourite wines from the region, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great destination to take in as a part of a wine tour in the area, and who knows, the wines may be more to your taste than mine. Last time I was there a large pile of grapes had been left to rot in the sun and the intoxicating caramel smell itself was worth the visit. The space at the cellar door is substantial, with a long bench for tastings which means as long as you call ahead and book it's a great place to take a group. The cheese plates are also a good spacer between all that wine so you may want to stay and indulge. The scrubby rise range is very popular and you'll probably want to try all the shiraz and cab sauv if you're that way inclined.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable. A big but excellent cellar door for wine tasting, and you can get a range of platters. And off course excellent wines, try the 2013 church block and the moscato!

Yelp
We came here with friends for wine tasting/buying and a picnic, as we noticed that they advertise their picnic area. I haven't visited here before, as it is a bit of a tourist mecca (which we usually avoid), but since this was the weekend of a car race, we thought we would be safe ;) Well, this was the BEST wine tasting experience I have ever had! The guy who helped us (wish we grabbed his name, as he was outstanding) was a real showman, very friendly and knowledgeable and an excellent representative of the winery. After we had decided which wines we were going to buy (as well as some delicious pate and other goodies they have on offer), we headed out to the picnic area, which was absolutely perfect, with lovely views. We had a gorgeous afternoon, and will definitely be back to purchase more wine!!

Yelp
Good reds and nice staff - just make sure you go in a small group...first time we were well looked after, second time (in a bigger group) we were treated pretty average - felt like we weren't welcome.
