Classic. Good food. What sets the pace aside from all others is the level of service: amazing, friendly and cordial. Super cool people work here. The room upstairs is great. Dow stairs can get hot, humid and stuffy though.

Nice dinner at a good price, generous portions. In my opinion the Spätzle could have been tastier with more cheese. They also prefer cash to pay the bill and didn't even give us a receipt....

It had been raining heavily and we needed a place of refuge and something to eat. How lucky were we to find this place. Food and service excellent in a clean and safe environment

Amazing German food! Very popular at night, great atmosphere. A bit on the pricier side. Our most expensive meal so far and we've been travelling Europe for 2 weeks... Had weiner schnitzel and their special allgau style pork escalope with cheese... Yum! Also great boosters for toddlers

A delicious experience at Wirtshaus am Dom! Central to downtown with an extensive menu of authentic German dishes. I enjoyed the helle and salat, as well as the cozy atmosphere. Made for a nice night.

Such a nice restaurant in the middle of Augsburg city Centre with authentic and great tasting food. The Schweinehaxe (Pork Knuckle) is perfectly cooked and is a must try! . The Kaissessman (pictured below) is tender, buttery and soft - perfect for a dessert. The service is very prompt and I found the value to be almost unbeatable for the food quality. Highly recommend as a spot to satisfy your craving for Bavarian cuisine!
