-> They tried to block this review. (Again!) I know now why the could maintain higher ratings! Even make things worse! Just horrible experience, I would not recommend this place. After a long drive, I went there with my family, trusting the high ratings on google. They just ruined the whole evening. I guess the food itself was OK, but I completely lost any faith I had in this place, after experiencing the two ladies serving dinner. They just kept being very rude and unprofessional. The lady serving drinks, spilled the drink at our table and managed to slip a ‘Scheisse’, which means ‘shit’ in German, and didn’t even apologize, just giving some bad attitude, clearly showing that she was the one who was angry. I think it’s basic manner that you apologize to the guest, also you just spilled the drinks?!?! Very weird behavior. She was also slamming the drinks on other tables as well. Later that night, she was smoking in the corner and all the guests could see her in front of the door where they delivered the food. I guess she was stressed, but it’s not the guest’s fault if something in the kitchen is not working. Clearly it wasn’t working very well. The main manager, I guess, was also very stressed and the waiting time for the food was really long. Probably waiting for over 20 minutes, she had the nerve to come to our table and tell us that the classic menu was not available anymore, because they ran out of ingredients. I was speechless. Also, it took forever for the food. The one German couple who arrived much later than us were served first and that’s when I just had enough. I’m not really sure if it was bad service or racism, what we experienced here, but certainly it was not a great experience. Many people waited and left, after a while, because they were not served, or the staff didn’t really care, many reasons… Regarding the Google reviews, I’m surprised that they have such high ratings, but I think they hire people and pay them to maintain these ratings. I think this place is not worth a visit and I would tell anyone I care for, NOT to go there, because it will ruin your mood. Not coming here ever again.

One star because: - no cash receipt, only a paper which was written by hand - we wanted to pay by card, not possible, only cash - they overcharged us. We had a kinder menu which should have cost 9 euro, they charged us 17.6 euro, same for an Apfel Strudel and my meal with crispy pork skin and neck pork should have been arround 18 euro. It was over 21. I put the picture of the meniu from the google reviews, what we ate and the “cash receipt”. We were foreigners, so they just took advantage. Our mistake that we did not double check. The post is to warn the others about how you can pay more for not so much quality.

We came for lunch but decided to leave after just 10 minutes. The waitress seemed very stressed and didn’t even greet us, simply handed us the menu. When we went to ask if they had an English version, she snapped at us, saying she was really busy, working alone, and that we should just sit down and not talk to her. It felt like our presence was an inconvenience. We left because we wanted to relax and enjoy our meal, not be treated with stress and hostility.

Good food, good location, fast service.

Amazing food, very big portions and lovely atmosphere.

Great Schnitzel

Auf der Suche nach authentischer Wirtshausküche lande ich durch Zufall hier. Beinahe hätte ich das Hinweisschild übersehen.Herzlich, freundlicher Empfang, obwohl die Mittagszeit schon lang vorbei ist. Ich bin hungrig und bestelle bei schönstem Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse, die Leberspätzlesuppe und das Tagesangebot Schwammerl mit Semmelknödel. Die Suppe, ein Traum! Kräftiger Rinderbrühe mit den hausgemachten Leberspätzle. die Schwammerl und den Semmelknödel könnte Mutter nicht besser machen! Dazu gibt’s einen kleinen, frischen Salat. Ich trinke ein Radler. Und zusammen kostet alles weniger alles €23,50! Also bitte unbedingt einen Stopp in Kruen, im Wirtshaus zur Einkehr einkehren! Falls ihr vorbeigefahren seid, unbedingt umdrehen! Lasst es euch schmecken!

Schon sehr lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen! Wir waren vor zwei Wochen dort zum Essen, war einfach klasse, Wirtin und Koch sind ein Paar, bereiten alles frisch zu, wirklich alles! Das ganze zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Ein echter Geheimtipp! Kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder wenn wir unseren Sohn in München besuchen!
