When we planned our trip, all the hotels in Visby were booked, as there was a very important festival in the city that week. We ended up looking for guesthouses instead, and we booked this one for 3 nights.
So, since it's a guesthouse, you gotta take for granted that almost nothing is included. There is a kitchen, which helps, and there is an ICA 5 minutes from there if you need to buy food to cook. Showers and toilets are shared on the floor. Some people leave shampoo bottles in the showers because they won't use it afterwards, but don't count on it.
Sheets for the beds and towels are not included, but you can pay an extra fee to have some.
The rooms are ok. You'll be sleeping in bunk beds, and they aren't too comfortable. I'm a big guy, and I could feel the metal pipe under my back. The curtains are VERY thin and if you're there in summer, you'll have the sun shining in your face at 4AM.
We were unlucky enough to have neighbours who went out for many drinks, and came back in the middle of the night, screaming in the corridor and not paying attention for all the noise they were making. We had to dress up and go tell them to shut up and go to bed. I know it can happen anywhere, but they would probably have been warned, or more careful, in a hotel...
So the experience was OK. Nothing perfect. But Visby is such a nice city, I would have slept anywhere.
