I don‘t usually write bad reviews, but there are things about this hotel that need to be said and since the Staff was not kind or accommodating when i tried to make things right, I think it is necessary to write the review. We are a family of 5, for what I reserved 2 rooms. About 3 weeks before arrival i sent and email to request that the rooms be close to eachother, or at least on the same floor. After a week of no response I called the hotel. Was noted that the rooms be at least on the same floor. At check-in the rooms were not even on the same floor and they could not do anything. Our first dinner was at the gourmet restaurant, we were served ice cold red wine. We politely told the waiter and he said that that was the right temperature, the lady next to us ordered a glass of the same wine and was served at room temperature, which is what we wanted, they refused to change the wine, instead a very rude man came and took the wine glasses and said they cannot do anything. The breakfast buffet was good, but no extra menu for eggs or extra things that you can normally order ( at an extra price) in other 5 star hotels, but i saw someone ordering an omelette and was served an omelette, I asked the waitress if I could also order one and her response was: if it‘s not in the buffet, we don’t have. I speak fluent portuguese and english, there was no language barrier here. Dinner at the main restaurant was cold and got served a vegetable cream instead of the mushroom cream that i ordered. We decided to not eat at the Hotel anymore. Was it bad luck? Were we expecting too much?
