Great hostel with nice decor and good shared areas with a decent kitchen. Rooms and amenities were nice, worth noting the windows in the 8-bed mixed dorm face the common garden area and the windows rattled loudly when people entered and exited the room - so be sure to bring ear plugs. Staff were super friendly and the free coffee in the morning is always a nice bonus!

The sheets and towels were clean and the bed comfortable, but the light fixtures were rusted and slightly bent. The windows were opaque of dirt and salt from the ocean, not allowing for appreciation of the view. The whole unit had a faint mold smell, and the bathroom had small dots of black mold on the corner of the walls. The sink faucet was spraying water at an odd angle and we had issues with the shower not heating very well at one morning. For such a high regarded hotel we were not expecting those sorts of issues. As a member of the Exclusive Guest fidelity program I am quite disappointed.

I stayed there for four nights at the end of June. The room on the 11th floor was great—spacious, with high-quality furniture and a fantastic view. However, the smart TV didn't work as expected, though the cable TV was fine. The swimming pool was excellent and well-maintained. The service at the poolside bar was efficient and very friendly. The check-in process was somewhat cold and took some time, but it was still acceptable. Breakfast was extremely good and a highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, the dinner buffet was disappointing, so I only had it once, opting for other places or delivery on the other nights. Overall, it was a very good stay. I recommend it and would gladly return anytime soon.

It was a nice stay. Some of the things were definitely in need of restoration like the paint on the outside en the windows were very dirty. The room was nice and mostly clean. The shower had a very low water pressure which made it less enjoyable. Breakfast was amazing and delicious! Also the spa where we got a massage from Gabriela and Carol was amazing, would 100% recommend booking one in your stay.

The hotel is dated and the rooms are extremely run down! The doors of the room and bathroom were really old and chipped, the lamp shades were very old. It seems like no maintenance has been done in the past years! It is clean though.

We stayed here for the start of our honeymoon. Hotel is very clean and comfy rooms. Breakfast was amazing would opt in for that, varried food with some traditional dishes. Hotel staff very friendly, partner company Luck were super helpful and kind. The outside of the hotel needs a bit of a fresh coat of paint but inside is lovely. I think frequented more by business people than holiday makers- it's not quite in any of the popular/safe tourist areas and walking around isn't advised, ubers are very cheap but best to try and stay more in Pelourino or Barra if holiday makers. Lots of culture would recommend a tour - 3 to 4 day is plenty to see everything if on holiday.

The staff is amazing, very professional and friendly. Service is great; the bartenders Marcos and Evaldo are amazing, courteous and friendly! If there is a drink that you want and they don’t know what it is they will ask you to describe so that they can make it for you. ||The rooms are very spacious and one of the most comfortable beds in a hotel. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, just wish they would offer mimosas too 😋

Igor at check in was very personable and knowledgeable. Manuela at the Spa was amazing and very courteous. We had a dinner buffet at the Passeio da Vitoria and Jose Evandro was very attentive to our needs and he was very friendly. The manager in charge was Enderson and he was very professional. The hotel has an amazing culinary team: FOOD WAS DELICIOUS.
