Logan was our New Orleans liaison to our spooky odyssey on a Saturday night. In his role, he was well versed, knowledgable, humorous and passionate about retelling history, legends and haunts that contribute to the long list of things that make the Crescent City famous. Stories were shared of love, deception, medical malpractice, an unexplained disappearance of a high ranking social elite, and the heartbreaking results of color barriers that are inextricably linked to the city and country’s past.
Logan expertly guided us through crowded streets and staged us in spaces that allowed for typical Friday night foot traffic while also keeping us mindful of car movement in the streets. We felt safe the entire time we were on tour.
At the end of the tour, I got to chat with Logan. Admittedly I’m a “believer” and asked if he had any paranormal experiences of his own- specifically a favorite anecdote he’d be willing to share. I was treated to an incredible photo that a tour patron had taken on his own jaunt and was graciously shared with him. Pictured was an odd anthropomorphic mist that might be rife with pareidolia but whether it was a coincidence or not (you decide), there’s no arguing that the photo was strange (the photo here is not that pic). Incredible stuff. Stop reading reviews here if you’ll be in the area and book this tour already. Great way to learn history, see potential places to visit, and maybe give your skin some bumps.
