Stopped here for brunch after visiting the castle and priory (also well worth a visit). Brilliant cafe. The sandwiches had proper bacon and weren't stingy on filling. Thd luxury hot chocolate was really good too. Dog are allowed inside (always nice to have option if it's a bit wet/cold out). Really friendly and warm service. Would definitely recommend. Regret not finding this place sooner on my holiday, because the cakes looked worth coming back for!

What isn't there to love? Timely, tempting and tantalizing! Food is fresh and ranges from traditional sandwiches to soups and curries. Wittles is also dog-friendly!

Gorgeous tea loaf and super first origin Guatemalan coffee. Very cute coffee and tea room. The staff were lovely. A perfect stop off in a beautiful untouched Norfolk village.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely amazing place! The Whistler Castle Acre Restaurant is a true gem. The owners and staff are some of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met — they go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home, including our four-legged friends! It’s one of the most dog-friendly places around, with water bowls, treats, and plenty of love for pups. And let’s talk about the cake... Wow! All homemade, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious — you can taste the love in every bite. It’s no surprise they’ve even been featured in The Times! That kind of recognition is well-deserved. Whether you’re just passing through or live nearby, this place is a must-visit. Heartwarming hospitality, fantastic food, and a cozy atmosphere that’s second to none. Highly recommended! Greetings from Germany

We came across Wittles by chance and were so glad we did! What a lovely little café in a really pretty setting. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. It’s not often I get a dairy free option let alone a whole menu! So that was quite a nice surprise. The flat white coffee was very very good and the food was really delicious. I’ll definitely be making the 2hr journey there again, well worth it, especially if you make a stop at the Abbey.

We arrived very late on a Saturday afternoon with only 20 minutes til they closed but we were still made very welcome. Lovely service and the drinks and cakes were delicious. Four of us all had different and all enjoyed my Victoria sandwich cake was one of the best I have ever had! Look forward to going again when we are in the area.

Wittles of Castle Acre is a busy tea room providing brunch, lunch, and cake! Sandwich plates or 'boards' from £12. Smoothies from £5. Four-legged friends welcome. All dishes looked homemade, and our food was delicious. The fruit scones are excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Gluten-free meals are available. Afterwards, take a walk around the St James Great Church an impressive Norman Church.

Visited today for the first time. Blown away. The best soup I've ever had, spiced sweet potato, kale and peanut. Amazing. Mackerel pate board with fresh salad, plenty of toast and real butter. Cakes looked good but we were too full. Smoothy was a tropical fruit. Also excellent. Such friendly staff and owners to boot. Thank you.
