"Every thursday the area around "Bockenheimer Warte" transforms into a market with a lot of regional specialities, like cheese, sausages, wine, tea, herbs, vegetables and fruit. In addition there are a lot of snack stalls, which are very popular during lunch hours. All in all a neat market, which is small enough to not get lost, but busy enough to have a nice market experience." - made in
Great biweekly market to visit if you’re in Frankfurt. I think it’s the largest farmer market in the city. Fruits, flowers, vegetables, everything! Many products available. I enjoyed the strawberries and bakery there. You can easily travel to the market by trams or underground trains. If you walk along, both sides of the street also have shops that you can buy shoes, coffees, groceries, and many more things. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re looking for something to buy.

Beautiful! A lot of stands with with, home made food, home made art, you can enjoy the time with your friends and family, eat the best schnitzel, kartoffel puffer, and drink warm wine. The only negative thing, it's that it is obviously PLENTY of people. Caution with children and thief, even I have to say it's pretty secure.

A really pleasant local market with many traders e.g. a fishmonger, a potato and onion seller, 2 bakers including an organic one, flower merchant, 2 egg and pasta stands, 2 fruit and vegetable producers etc etc.

Central market in the bohemian side of town. They have your basic veggies, meats, and different spreadable cheeses. There is a wine stand in the beginning if you need a drink to start off your wine shopping.

Used to be my local market. Now I make a beeline whenever I visit family. A must to stock up on spices and locally made sausages
