At $12 plus tax, the price for two meats and broccoli on rice is great! The pork roast had crispy skin and so did the bbq duck. Well cooked, but served cold. Wish it was served hot. Happy to have chilli oil in a jar to add to the food. Service was kind, courteous and exceptionally quick. The complimentary tea seemed freshly brewed. The restaurant has comfortable seating and is pretty quiet. They also have a spoon and a fork on the table, much unlike other Chinese restaurants in the city. Will visit again for the comfort and to try the $40 for two lobsters offer.

Prices were reasonable at Wok & Roast Chinese BBQ restaurant. A 3-meat plate with rice + tip was $20. I got the soy chicken, the duck and the crispy pork. The crispy pork was definitely a highlight, as was the ginger scallion dip. The soy chicken and duck were both tasty and moist although the duck was littered with bone - it was a bit messy. I will say the food was quite delicious. While the temperature of the crispy pork was warm, the duck and chicken were actually quite cold - I don't mean room temp, I mean cold like it was pulled from the refrigerator and the outside was warmed up quickly but not the inside. About my waiter; what can I say. He didn't say hi, he didn't say thanks, when I said thanks twice he didn't acknowledge me. And then was watching his phone the entire meal. I just had to go to the counter and pay and when he saw me he came over and kept watching his phone. I don't really expect more, but I'm still tipping so at least give me something. I'd come back for a 1.lb plate of pork that's for certain.... Update: just 2.5hrs later and it's rough - I have not been feeling good at all and I have an iron stomach, but something here is not agreeing with me.

I ordered takeout honey glazed spareribs for $20. The ribs didn't look freshly made today and were hard to chew. The portion was small. I was completely disappointed and will never go there again.

This is by far, my favorite Chinese restaurant in Toronto. I highly recommend the soy sauce chicken with the scallion oil, and the BBQ pork fried rice. I recently had the very bad flu, and I kid you not, this is the only food I could keep down. I survived off their broccoli and tofu. Their service is amazing, the food is flavorful, and if you want authentic Chinese, this is the place to go. I haven’t dined in, but I order regularly, probably too much, but again, it’s the only food I can always eat. Amazing.

Very nice people, Everytime I come here to order my favorite roast pork and BBQ chicken on rice, they are always so generous with the meat. As a thank you, I give you guys 5 stars. Worth trying if you haven't. God bless. Salamat.

Love going here for my BBQ, seasoning is usually spot on and quiet clodr to home dishes wise. Prices are fair for this day in the economy. Service isnt too terrible and the servers are doing the best they can while doing lots of uber eats daily. Its a cozy little place to a degree. Overall I'd recommend this place for you want authentic Cantonese style food in east chinatown!

We've had Wok & Roast take out before and enjoyed it. Wanted to try dining in and did so recently. It is a well appointed, nice cosy, dine in space. The service was fast and attentive and the food was fresh and tasty. Lots of lean chicken in the sweet & sour and the right combo of crispy and sauced noodles in the Cantonese Noodles. All ingredients in dishes were fresh and tasty. A pleasant change from take out or delivery!

Recently stopped by for a craving of BBQ pork ! We tried a small trio : bbq pork, roast duck and roast chicken, on a bed of delicious rice. L and steamed broccoli. The pork was out of this world! The duck was amazing, but I think we’d probably get the soya chicken next time as our roast chicken was a bit dry. We got a bit of green onion, garlic oil and that helped the chicken out a bit but was a new staple dish for my partner! The Buddha veggies were quite plentiful and topped the meal off. Everything was quite reasonably priced, so definitely going back. This place has been around forever and doesn’t disappoint. The only surly side was our waiter. It felt like he was in the wrong business of hospitality…
