Each meal at Wok In is a generous two portions, but more realistically three normal sized portions. The food is actually spicy and so flavourful. This is the kind of locally owned mom-and-pop establishment I’m happy to support. There are only two people taking orders and making the food, so it will take a while. And they only take cash, some come prepared.

I've been going to the Wok-In off and on for thirty years since I was introduced to it during university. Just incredible food. My family adores it, and we try to make a stop every time we go to or past Kingston. It's always been cash only, and now it's take out only, but nothing beats their curries.

There was an entire story in the Globe and Mail about the Cambodian food in Kingston and how good it is. This restaurant tops the mountain. I will have memories of this place for the rest of my life. Get the Bahnxeo; such a unique flavour. They also have the best (fried) spring rolls I've had anywhere.

Truly the best Cambodian food I've ever had, prepared by a lovely couple. I don't live in Kingston, but will make trips just for Wok-In and now my friends and family do the same. Make sure you order at least 2 spring rolls per person, because you are going to eat one and wish you had another for the next day (or eat two at once--they're huge but no judgement!). No matter what you order, it will be delicious and you'll have plenty of leftovers. They always provide plenty of rice for saucy dishes and lots of sweet & sour peanut sauce for spring rolls and some other dishes. I love the banhxeo, pad thai, red and green curries, and I've tried a few other items that have been incredible too. One day I'll have tried the entire menu. Prices are great and don't say otherwise lol. If you want, you can order 20 chicken mcnuggets from you know where for $18 instead (+ $3 if you want a drink to compliment the salt and grease), eat them all at once and feel sad about the world, be hungry 2 hours later, and not have leftovers for 1-2 days--like you will have at Wok-In!

Absolutely fantastic! A little hole in the wall on Montreal with the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The owners are husband and wife and incredibly friendly, they do all the work themselves and it’s truly amazing. Their pad Thai is hands down the best in Kingston, and certainly the best I’ve ever had. But if you’re not into that they have a wide variety of various curries and other dishes. The portions are very large and you’re definitely going to get a lot of value out of the meal. Would highly recommend stopping here whether you live in Kingston or are just traveling through.

One of Kingston's hidden gems! Wok-In has a small storefront but has the best Thai/Cambodian food in town. The owners are so sweet & their portions are big! Very fair pricing but limited seating

I've been a customer for 30 years. Same menu. Only one item I believe was taken off. You can have the same menu for over 30 years and still have that business running and is successful as it is. That is nearly impossible. After I move from Kingston I moved close to Ottawa and I would drive to Kingston the 2-hour drive with no hesitation and only to go to Work In. Not for any other purpose. Chris has brought so much joy to so many people and especially myself and that's very difficult to do for so long! This is the kind of place where you find your favorite dish and you can go back everyday every other day every week month and get the same dish and it'd still be amazing every time. That also is a very difficult thing to achieve! Consistency is key in any business and Wok in has achieved this almost impossible feat! But just remember it's only he and his wife and it's a small place so be respectful because if you want fast food go to McDonald's if you want great food as fast as they can do. Just for you. Have some respect. They're not putting anything into a microwave. And it is what it is. And for me it's perfect!! And once it's gone it will never be duplicated ever! Congratulations!!

Best food in town. Chris and Sam always have great service. Highly recommend the spring rolls for each order, they can't be beat!
