Arrived late 3am. Very helpful reception. Taxi driver needed directions for final 500 metres. Hostel staff member came out to meet the taxi.|Comfortable private room. All staff helpful during stay. Nearby sights & free guided walks. Arranged breakfast next door & also laundry for fair cost.|Paint a bit dated. Bit of a smell from bathroom drain when fan was on.|Would stay again. Very good value.

Overall, it was a good experience and firm yet comfortable beds. If you're tall then this might not be for you as the beds can be somewhat short and firm. Staff was very kind, spoke good English, and gave honest and good advices on where to go or where to eat. House rules were not explained, premises where not shown around, but everyone was approachable in case of questions. My private room was clean but a bit loud due to proximity to the main road, so bring some earplugs. Bathrooms were shared, mostly clean but the size of the toilets cabins was super small, definitely not for tall or large people. They also sell drinks like beer, water, and soda in their fridges. It located close to Chinatown and main plaza and about 20-30 minutes away from the center by taxi. Overall you get for what you pay which was super cheap for 2 nights.

I stayed here for three nights. The staff is very nice and attentive and helped me out a lot. The beds are clean and comfortable and there is a big hangout area with games, cards and a pool table. I had a great time and recommend for every solo backpacker! They also have private rooms, but I was in a dorm. Thank you so much to the staff for the help! :)

The staffs are super friendly, they can speak english fluently so there were no communication issues. The rooms have CCTVs and they respect privacy and quiet hours. They have a lot of services included in their hostel, you really don’t need to go out for laundry or buying snacks and water. Opt for the one that has breakfast meal, the difference between having it or none is just minuscule. I even became close friends with one of the staffs and his friends which is super memorable. One of my highlights of visiting Indonesia for the first time.

It's a huge hostel which made it, for me, less social. Staff is helpful and the dorms offer some idea of privacy. Some grab driver's didn't want to go there.

This is a cool hostel! My room was nice and tidy, and the toilet was clean with great hot water for showers. They have free billiards and cards in the living room, and I even met a humble guy who speaks Indonesian. 5/5 ⭐.

The best part about this hostel is i's location, it's located just beside the Old Town, and you also have access to both TransJakarta bus station & the train station within 5 minute walks. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The interior is simple and tasteful, although some of the facilities are old and not very well maintained. The rooms and bed are pretty clean, didn't encounter any problem there. Only major complain will be the a lot of the bathroom showers doesn't have any hangers for towels and clothes which is pretty annoying. Will recommend for a few nights stay.

I stayed here for 10 days in a shared mixed room for 4 people. On the ground floor there is a common room with TV, billiards, kitchenette and fridge. The staff are nice and helpful. On the roof is a seating area, where all the travelers meet and discuss in the evening. The bathrooms and toilets are clean. There are bus and train stops a few minutes from the hostel. But: however, some travelers don't know how to behave well in dormitories. Keep the lights off until 4 am, turn off the ringer on your phone, if you sleep on the top bed, act in a way that the person sleeping below doesn't think there's an earthquake. My things are my things and aren't shared with anyone, not even my shoes that mysteriously disappeared for 2 days. If you finish your beer and eat your food, clean up after yourself, no one is your mom. This challenge only affects about 10% of travelers, yet it can ruin the impression of a perfect hostel.
