The social vibe is a bit off… there were not many international traveller, it gave the impression lot’s of locals live here on a semi permanent base. Mostly men staying there when I visited. So if you’re looking for a hostel to connect with people, I wouldn’t recommend staying there. Facilities are decent, toilets and showers are very clean!

Stayed here for 9 nights. Overall it's a nice place to stay for a couple of nights (probably 2-3 max). Pros: 1. A cute fluffy teenage kitten living in the first floor! 2. Good interior, beds big enough, all necessary furniture. 3. Nice staff Cons: 1. The area is a bit creepy especially if you're a white solo female traveller. 2. Showers aren't clean enough. 3. The hostel has a weird smell which you don't really feel much while living there but after moving out all my clothes has it and it's quite disgusting. 4. The towel I was giving initially had stains, but they changed it for me when I asked. It seems that all the linen is quite old and not washed thoroughly. 5. Insects. It is hard to control them in this climate but here it was a huge problem mostly because windows are often opened in the common area since it doesn't have AC.

Arrived late 3am. Very helpful reception. Taxi driver needed directions for final 500 metres. Hostel staff member came out to meet the taxi.|Comfortable private room. All staff helpful during stay. Nearby sights & free guided walks. Arranged breakfast next door & also laundry for fair cost.|Paint a bit dated. Bit of a smell from bathroom drain when fan was on.|Would stay again. Very good value.

Overall, it was a good experience and firm yet comfortable beds. If you're tall then this might not be for you as the beds can be somewhat short and firm. Staff was very kind, spoke good English, and gave honest and good advices on where to go or where to eat. House rules were not explained, premises where not shown around, but everyone was approachable in case of questions. My private room was clean but a bit loud due to proximity to the main road, so bring some earplugs. Bathrooms were shared, mostly clean but the size of the toilets cabins was super small, definitely not for tall or large people. They also sell drinks like beer, water, and soda in their fridges. It located close to Chinatown and main plaza and about 20-30 minutes away from the center by taxi. Overall you get for what you pay which was super cheap for 2 nights.

I stayed here for three nights. The staff is very nice and attentive and helped me out a lot. The beds are clean and comfortable and there is a big hangout area with games, cards and a pool table. I had a great time and recommend for every solo backpacker! They also have private rooms, but I was in a dorm. Thank you so much to the staff for the help! :)

This is a cool hostel! My room was nice and tidy, and the toilet was clean with great hot water for showers. They have free billiards and cards in the living room, and I even met a humble guy who speaks Indonesian. 5/5 ⭐.

The staffs are super friendly, they can speak english fluently so there were no communication issues. The rooms have CCTVs and they respect privacy and quiet hours. They have a lot of services included in their hostel, you really don’t need to go out for laundry or buying snacks and water. Opt for the one that has breakfast meal, the difference between having it or none is just minuscule. I even became close friends with one of the staffs and his friends which is super memorable. One of my highlights of visiting Indonesia for the first time.
