Awesome campsite! The sites are large, flat, and nicely spaced out — plenty of room and privacy, which makes it feel peaceful even when it’s busy. The grass does get pretty dry in summer, so I’d recommend bringing a tarp for under your tent. Definitely wear footwear — those spiky grass seeds got us a few times!
Each site has a fire pit, perfect for relaxing evenings. Just make sure to check your spot for ants before pegging down your tent. As expected, there are plenty of flies on hot days (bring a fly net if you can).
There are a few drop toilets — clean, well-maintained, and always stocked with toilet paper. Credit to VicParks for keeping the cleaning schedule up to date.
All up, an awesome site — spacious, private, and well looked after. Would happily come back again!
