Woodbury Common Premium Outlets is a shopping paradise for anyone who loves top brands at great prices. The variety of stores is incredible—luxury designers, sportswear, home goods, and everything in between. The discounts are genuine, and with a little patience, you can find some amazing deals. The outlet itself is beautifully designed with an open-air village-style layout, making it enjoyable to stroll around. There are plenty of dining options and rest areas, which make long shopping days much more comfortable. Parking is extensive, though it can get busy on weekends and holidays, so it’s best to come early. It’s worth setting aside a full day here because there’s so much to explore. For visitors from New York City, the shuttle buses are very convenient. Overall, an excellent destination for serious shoppers.

The outdoor setting made it feel more like a relaxing day trip than a shopping spree, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The food options were also a nice surprise, with a good mix of quick bites and sit-down spots. Overall, it was a perfect shopping experience, made even better by the gorgeous weather. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun day of deals and sunshine!

This outlet has all the shops you can imagine — and the discounts are amazing! 🛍️ We visited during National Outlet Weekend, which I highly recommend if you're planning a trip. There were extra sales on top of outlet prices, so we found some fantastic deals! Despite being a busy weekend, it didn’t feel overcrowded because the outlet is massive and well-organized. Great shopping experience overall — worth the visit!

Woodbury Common Premium Outlet is definitely a highlight for shopaholics, especially on sunny days. The complex is spacious and offers a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to stroll. The parking lot was perfectly adequate, and it was easy to find a spot, which made the start of the visit stress-free. The selection of shops is impressive, ranging from well-known designer brands to popular high-street labels. However, the prices weren't always what you'd expect from an outlet—some items seemed more like regular store prices. Nevertheless, if you look carefully, you can still find bargains, which adds to the fun factor. One minor drawback was the limited selection of food options. While the available options were quite tasty, I would have liked a bit more variety to make longer stays even more enjoyable. Nevertheless, its modern design and well-organized layout make the outlet a worthwhile destination for a day trip. The place is particularly charming in good weather, as you can enjoy the sunshine in the open spaces and relax between the shops. All in all, it's a great place to spend a day—although with some minor improvements it could be even closer to perfection. Four stars are absolutely deserved!

Smashing place! You need to come here with your won trolley else you might end up buying one. You need patience to look through at the Nike or Lululemon store. The Coach and Michael Kors are all pretty neatly managed. I was in awe of some of the offers on display. The Brooks Brothers store was another lovely place. Clear with their offers as always.

Google
Amazing place for shopping in New York. You can shop from more than 200 brands there with good discount but if you are coming on the weekend try to come in the morning as afternoon gets busy and you have to stand in a queue to enter in your favourite store like Gucci, Prada and more.

This place has a bit for everyone. It has its upscale shops. Side note be prepared to do lines for these especially in the nicer days and hotter months. I visited a few stores didn’t have time to hit them all on this trip but not a lot was new. The clothing is nicely organized in most places. I was cool with the fitting room wait times it wasn’t bad at all. Bathrooms are clean and there’s places to snack and eat alone the way. We visited Saks 5th Ave, Lululemon, Armani, Lacoste, citizen watches, sunglasses hut, and we ate in parm the Italian spot. Most of the time we go we also go to shake shacks. That’s a staple can’t go wrong there. The Italian place was good but not amazing. Food quality was good but not memorable. The outlet is a great time to hang out do a little shopping and take a nice walk. If you are in a rush this place is not for you. With that being said I come out here 2 to 3 times a year it’s solid I normally find a few things this time was no different. Got at-least something in every store we visited definitely worth our Trip All and all I definitely recommend this place especially if you have never been it’s definitely worth the drive and if you’re local then I’m sure you know about it. Wish they had more food options restaurants wise but they do have a food court and it’s has a few places to eat also so it’s not lacking in food just wish more restaurants I’ll definitely be back sometime in the summer and add more photos and update this post hope you found this helpful. You can find almost every brand here, but don’t expect very cheap shopping. Only some brands may offer good deals, especially GAP. The parking is very good, and it’s easy to reach. I would recommend it.

Yelp
Always love to come here for mass shopping. The outlet has regular brands and high end brands. Many bathrooms along the shops and many more seats, bench and lounge chairs compares to many years ago. In addition, many more food options. They really keep the place clean and tidy. I see cleaning crew a lot on the pathway, food courts and bathrooms. Very nice and friendly staff.

Yelp
First timer ! It's a couple of hours drive for us and visited this as many of my friends suggested this place. The parking is a bit tight and I had to pay about $12 to get a premium parking ... lots and lots of good shops and showroom here, but it is pricey. The best part about this outlet is the food court even within the food court. The food is pretty expensive.. I have been to Jackson premium outlets and Jersey Garden malls and this Woodbury outlet is the most expensive out of all three .. Adidas Nike showrooms were good, but not much of discounts. Lots of other shops like Kipling , polo Ralph Lauren etc .. the stuff is good but again , it looks like they UP'd the price and then give us discounts ! Overall an average premium outlet mall. 3 stars

Yelp
I loved how spacious all the stores are. The stores we went in all were fully stocked Great prices for the value of clothes I liked the selection of colors of items in the store. The service rendered were great The restrooms wrrr amazing. Very clean the time I went and so many stalls

Yelp
I went to this outlet on a bus trip for Christmas shopping. I was able to shop at a few stores that were in my budget like (Polo, North Face, Nike and Victoria Secrets) and look at a few high end stores as well like (Alexander McQueen, Coach, Gucci and Prada). It was crowded but, not unbearable. The food court was nice however, the revolving doors continued to open as shoppers were coming in and out which brought in the cold air. Yes, I was cold while eating my food in the food court. There were outdoor stands while we were walking for hot beverages like hot chocolate, warm cider along with spiked drinks. The outlet was decorated in Christmas decor. There is a lot of walking so be prepared as it is a huge area of stores and everything is spread out. I would return if in the area or on another bus trip. I would recommend some other attractions for entertainment like an arcade area, candle making etc. other than shopping for people who want to do something outside of shopping.

Yelp
Not a big fan of Woodbury common personally. Parking can be tough but this time I found a spot nice and easy so that was nice. Of course it was a rainy day and it was early so that might've helped. Additionally, many of the stores are designer stores, and I am not a designer store, kind of guy. So this does not appeal to me also. The stores seem geared more to women. How about you put a bass pro shop outlet or a gander Mountain for the dudes that won't have to show up with their wives Nothing wrong with the place just not my cup of tea
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this outlet and it's humongous! You definitely can spend an entire day here. Wide range of stores and plenty of designer stores. Didn't see much discounts at the designer stores but the other stores like Club Monaco had 60% off on all items and you can find few items on their website so it's not all past trends. I went to the Market Hall to eat lunch and got Chinese. It wasn't the best and the food didn't taste fresh which was surprising since I ordered it during lunch time. But there are plenty of other options. Bummed I couldn't go to all the stores I wanted to check out even while walking around for 3 hours so will have to come back again!
google avatar

Yelp
Woodbury Outlets is my favorite outlet mall to go to! It's less than a 4 hour drive from Boston and is usually a shorter drive than going to NYC during rush hour times. Here you'll find many popular brands with great discounts and selection of bags, clothing, etc. One of the main reasons I make the trip is because they have an Aritzia & Moncler here! Some stores I like to hit when I'm visiting: -Zimmerman -Aritzia -Acne Studios -Arc'teryx -Ladurée -Lululemon -Prada -Dior -Golden Goose -Loewe -Saint Laurent ***Canada Goose + Christian Louboutin coming soon!*** Their food court is pretty solid too! It's huge and has a variety of different options for everyone! Parking: there is a free parking lot to park at and also premium lots where you can pay to park.

Yelp
When in the mood for in person shopping, this premium outlet definitely comes to mind. Over the past years this outlet mall has attracted lots of tourists from all over; since now they have Alipay as a payment option. Outlets were very calm and quiet on a weekday; some shops were even emptied. Though, the popular brand named stores has a line of shoppers out the door; so it all depends on what you are looking to purchase; Outlet mall is not tax free, and since many items are well over one hundred dollars; sales tax do apply. The food hall is clean and has the normal fast food selection from any typical mall; food prices here are above the average city pricing. Overall, didn't get much of a deal, but did purchase things my parents wanted.

Yelp
This is one of my go to places to gift shop all year around. Only being 13 miles from me , I can plan my shopping trips before the mad rush of shoppers descend upon this Mecca of Designer Fashion from around the tristate area. I normally go when it first opens where you can peruse at your leisure without all of the hustle and bustle, in other words a relaxed atmosphere. Most outlets offer 40-70% discounts throughout the year. The selections are plentiful and I find a lot of value savings. My family loves the Coach outlet, Michael, Kors, and Nike store. However there are so many choices you can spend an entire day and night here and still not see every outlet. So if you're just coming to shop plan some time to take a break in the food court or the other eateries on site. Happy shopping

Yelp
Like many other reviews state, this outlet mall has pretty much every store you could think of. A shopaholic's dream! I went for the first time recently (right before the holidays) and as anticipated, it was packed. You absolutely want to get there as early as possible. We made the mistake of not going directly to the section with Gucci and some of the other designer stores. We started at the stores near where we parked and made our way over to the designer section. Unfortunately, once we got there, the lines were crazy long. Thankfully a few (Jimmy Choo and Burberry) had shorter lines so we were able to get some great deals there. There are quite a few restaurants and coffee shops so that you can grab a bite during your shopping trip. We dined at Parm (which was delicious)!

Yelp
Great to go to for both luxury stores and mid-level stores. I got what I needed but parking, even on a bad weather day, is terrible unless you park in the large multi level lot. Additionally, some of the luxury stores have nice wait-list system (sign in for waiting, get a text when you can enter which allows you to shop elsewhere in the meantime). However, I had to shop around and kill time for 2.5 hours just to get in Gucci store. First world problem I know, but when you know exactly why you're going to the outlet and plan around that, it's not always ideal to just be walking around for roughly three hours waiting to get a text that you're up next. Overall, I do recommend going to this outlet. Just be prepared for wait at luxury stores if that's what you're going there for. On the flip side, super plus is that they have Lady M in the food court and the cake is amazing!

Yelp
I love shopping at this location. The area has plenty of parking around the stores. Plenty of onsite security more in the exclusive high end stores. Woodbury Commons has amazing selections and great values on tons of items. Simon VIP members get a little more of a discount on top whatever the current sales are in the store. Food court and Area restaurants are all delicious and a break from shopping to recoup until shopping again.

Yelp
Amazing outlet mall with tons of stores! When it's warm out it's a treat walking around the grounds going in and out of many great, well-known stores! Place is clean, mapped out, and loads of parking
google avatar

Tara R.

Yelp
I only went to a couple of places and didn't explore the whole thing but it is a very large outdoor outlet mall. Wide walk ways, dogs allowed, tour bus stops and a several story parking garage on one side. Depending on what entrance you use will direct where you can park. As a first timer it is difficult to know from the back side where specific stores are at. Lots of stores at various price points, clean walk ways and restrooms and plenty of selections.

Yelp
Woodbury outlet continues to be an amazing location for shoppers. Incredible discounts and promotions throughout the year. The management does excellent job of keeping it clean and visitor friendly. Lots of parking lots and a massive garage. Bus station available, including buses from NYC. Food court information desk has paper map. Lots of dining options available too. Small vendor shops serving ice cream, drinks, good are available throughout the walking pathways. Restrooms are kept clean in general. On crowded days they put out parking and crossing guards to manage traffic. I have always had great time shopping here and look forward to next visit.
google avatar

Cat C.

Yelp
If you're looking for some high end luxury merchandise and looking for a deal, this is a good stop. One of the reasons why tour buses come here. Not an enclosed outlet mall so a lot of walking. Good idea to map out your stores if you want to be efficient. Some of the stores carry merchandise that are carried only at the outlets. Decent number of places to eat to refuel. Service is friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Golden Goose is the WORST establishment at this outlet. If I could give this business 0 stars I would, but unfortunately to submit this review i need to give at least one star. This is the WORST retail business I have ever worked with in my entire life. The workers and management at this location are beyond unprofessional, disrespectful and unaccommodating. The list goes on. This company should be EMBARRASSED and ASHAMED the way they treat their customers. Trust me, the disrespect I received from this place is not worth the hype nor the money. Take your business elsewhere.

Yelp
One of the most famous shopping Outlets not only in Northern NY but in the U. S period. It has top brands from Balenciaga, Gucci, St. Laurent, Dior, Prada, Saks on the 5th, Theory, Yankee Candle, Maxa Mara, Calvin Klein, Vera Bradley, Puma, Nike's, Converse, Parm etc. It's a famous Shopping Mall Outlet w/ over 13 million visitors a year locally, & Globally. Be warned some shops have lines outside, so if it's cold wear a warm coat . This location is great to celebrate or pickup gifts for anniversary's, birthdays, sweet 16 teen celebrations, Holiday shopping Christmas etc. Lots of men shop here as well. Most shops are wheelchair accessible bc theirs only 1st floor walk-ins. It's also esoterically, gorgeous with mountainous back drops w/ snow in the winter. If you're, a Fashionista this is the place 4u. I recommend, you guys come out for the weekend & hangout or shop til u drop. Bring an empty suitcase to put all ur handbags & clothes. Everyone else does. F. Y. I: Woodbury Common bus p/ u is on W. 51st & Bway ifo McDonalds get there b4 ur scheduled p/u time because once the bus gets full it takes off b4 time. Book online. Have Fun!

Yelp
Most of close parking is now all paid, it never was. It's a large portion of every parking lot, just pure greed. The mall manger is a raging asshole. They treat the people who work there horribly not even providing safe and close parking for employees. Holidays are pure chaos, I can only imagine how badly this mall impacts the direct area, hopefully they pay their share. It's a trash mall, most of the luxury stores make for outlet which just means higher pricing (for an outlet) with cheaper materials. Not trying to be just luxury, bring back ACTUAL outlets

Yelp
OMG ! Well, where do I begin, back I. In the '80's I was able to shop here for my kids Clothes ! They had Carter's,Health Tex & many others They were reasonable fit into my family Budget ! These clothes were made right here in The good old USA !! I recently went here yesterday with A friend, If you have 1,500. Or better you can shop Here now they have high end stores Many foreigners come and shop there As they bus them in ! With our "American dollar" It was crowded ! Their slices of cake range from 10.00 on Up to $15.00 not cheap !! They still do have some stores there Are budget friendly ! Don't except to see Walmart there ! It's a "Simon Mall" I clearly don't know where many of these Folks are getting this money that are Spending it ?? I don't ever recall this place being so High end expensive !! Word to the wise, if your attempting To save money my advice to you Don't go here !! If you hit the lotto you do have extra Money you want to spend this is The place to spend it I guess ! They have absolutely nothing there that's Manufactured here in America ! It's "cheap labor" Thanks to one of our former Presidents !! I won't be returning back anytime soon

Yelp
Went to shop and possibly purchase some items for my children [Saturday, April 18,2025] and found that the staff was not welcoming at all. They seemed as though they didn't want to assist. Disturbing experience to say the least.
google avatar

Malikah U.

Yelp
Plenty of store and food options! They have options like Steve Madden and Lululemon, but they also have Gucci and Prada. They have options for the entire family, so adults and babies can leave with something. It's outside, so be prepared for that. Be sure to take a pic at the I NY sign they have. It's a cute photo op.
google avatar

Hansel B.

Yelp
Very large outlet with more stores than i can count. Parking is always a pain on the lots that are closer to the center (near main food court). I go straight to the garage because there's always available spots. Only downside is that its at the very end and a long walk. I've noticed recently that the prices arent much different from non-outlets versions. Yes, they have sales at the very high end stores, but i dont feel its worth the trek for regular clothing stores that you find at a mall. The food situation is pretty good for an outlet. They have a main food court with fast food (burgers, Chinese, sandwiches). They also have some casual restaurants in other areas. On weekends there are various food trucks throughout (tacos, empanadas). I still come here when folks out of town want to shop because it has a lot of options, but if you're looking for deals i wouldnt drive this far out of the way for it.

Yelp
Well, the first thing which comes to mind - it's Huge. This shopping location was built for shopaholics who desire premium goods at bargain prices. In short, Woodbury Common has it all. Woodbury Common has established its reputation as one of the most popular, and largest, shopping outlets in the nation. it is located in Central Valley, NY, just an hour North of New York City. It is a popular day trip from New York, and as a result, many vehicles operate between New York City and the outlets. shopping location was opened in 1985 and has slowly grown over the years since. It now welcomes more than 13 million visitors a year, and it continues to grow as its current structure is renovated and new stores are added to the already extensive selection of shops. The giant contiguous outlet store now has 220 outlets and unlike neighboring outlets, it has high-end brands as well like Gucci, Lacoste, Dior, Versace, Prada, Valentino, Balenciaga, etc... The layout of the outlet shops is quite nice and cleverly done. The shops are grouped in Stepford neighborhood groupings such as Niagara, Saratoga, and Hudson Valley. so, plan your shopping properly as you can't cover the whole outlet in a single day for sure! Restaurants and eateries are prevalent in Woodbury Common, as well. If you're looking for something quick, you can check out Shake Shack, South Philly Cheesesteaks & Fries, or Au Bon Pain, among others. For a sit-down meal, it does have an Applebees! Also, there are many bistros, food trucks, and a large "Market Hall" with dozens of food stores. Parking: the first time I was seeing Valet parking in any outlet mall, we were there on the 3rd of July and the parking was almost full, of course, we were not going to Pay $10 that too in the outlet area, we searched on google and seems, the outlet has 4-floor parking garage behind Old Navy store, ample of parking. We parked at level 2 and started our shopping from old navy.
google avatar

Aaron S.

Yelp
Best outlet ever great service variety of selections and value definitely try your best to come get the best deal on brands
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
We had a wonderful family outing, and the best part of the trip was simply spending time together. The complex itself is massive, offering plenty to explore, but braving 20-degree weather with a wind chill that felt like 5 definitely made shopping more of a challenge. An enclosed walkway for harsh weather conditions would be a great addition. That said, the trip was absolutely worth it--everyone found something they loved and left with a nice bag in hand. If you're bringing kids, consider having them bring some of their allowance money--they'll definitely want to splurge!
google avatar

Sena Y.

Yelp
All the high end designer stores are here, with decent pricing. I would come here over and over again to purchase. 10/10 for shopping and service.

Daniel L.

Yelp
I've shopped the men's section at this store a couple of times already and the service is always good. Prices are very affordable too, as long as they give extra discounts on top of their outlet prices. The store has a great selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories. I got two great pieces for about $520; that's a savings of about $1,250.

Yelp
This is to MONCLER ONLY. My husband(white) , myself (Hispanic) and a good friend of ours (black) decided to wait at the MONCLER for 30mins while the store was very empty. We let it go because we love this brand, I needed a new jacket and I understood it was for security issues. As we enter the store we noticed the guy opening the door LOCKED the door behind us. We just finished shopping for gifts at Versace and Mc Queen, and they did NOT do that. Then the security guard TOLD US to LEAVE OUR BAGS AT THE DOOR which were VERY EXPENSIVE! We complied and left it there My husband pointed out that THEY DIDNT ask the people in front of us to drop their bags off. Security replied with a ATTITUDE "we ask everyone to leave bags at the door" CLEARLY he was wrong because we were able to point out not ONE but FOUR other people with MASSIVE bags from other brands in SECONDS. Now deciding to get the manager involved (white blonde lady) STATED it's NOT MANDATORY to LEAVE BAGS AT THE DOOR. YET we were asked to leave ours!! This was VERY RACIALLY motivated / discriminating. As we were the only one SINGLED OUT in the STORE who were asked to leave our EXPENSIVE ITEMS at the door. If it's a rule why single us out AND NOT everyone else ?! Do they just pick and chose who can or cannot leave their bags NEAR the EXIT DOOR ?!(That's not safe AT ALL). This was my first time shopping here I will be sticking to 5ave. Save your time there's way better places than this dump.

Yelp
I'd been here multiple times and each visit is different. I am seeing this place getting bigger and bigger for what it offers. The parking lot has park your self spots for a fee. You should come early to get free spot in the lot. How early? Oh well, I would say about one hour before it opens. We went first to buy a bag request to my companion from Burberry store. There was a line outside the door but moving fast. The store just wants to make sure of social distancing inside. Prices are on high level but the quality of the merchandise for frequent shoppers is what counts. Beautiful displays of current model upon entry and clearances are on the back of the store. Then we moved to sporty stores eg under armour, adidas, Nike etc. as we were happily enjoying racking up items with these weekend holiday prices. The newly renovated food court has been a favorite of shoppers. Plenty of good found and dessert choices to satisfy each one's craving. Sad to see that business is not same as before pre-pandemic. Hopefully all will make a good comeback this holiday season. Still my favorite factory outlet store in NY

Yelp
Well tourist come in bus loads and I can see why discounts upon discounts on name brands which is perfection . Take a day shop around and you have a meal Or cocktail while shopping!

Barbara G.

Yelp
Love the service, never a disappointment. Each store and food service always is very helpful and satisfying. Customer service even helped my son shop while I was on FT with him.

Caro O.

Yelp
COACH OULET REVIEW ONLY I had a really disappointing experience at Coach Outlet yesterday with my boyfriend. Gianni or whatever her name is, the salesperson, was extremely rude. I'm not sure if it was because my boyfriend is white and I'm Latina, or maybe because my boyfriend had to open the drawer to reach the item we wanted since no one was helping us. When she finally approached us, we thought she was going to assist, but instead, she just reminded us of the price and then showed us a cheaper option. It felt very condescending, snobby and unprofessional. I ended up purchasing the item because it was for my boyfriend's birthday and I didn't want the situation to escalate, but the entire experience left a bad impression. We were dressed appropriately, weren't loud or causing a scene, so I really can't understand why we were treated this way. Very disappointing and out of line, so rude even for a brand like Coach outlet. The rest of the stores where fine!

Yelp
Pretty awesome outlets right here in the HV! It took me long enough to get out here but I'm so glad I did! Used to bigger and better outlets in another state, I didn't think this place had anything on them but surprisingly I was wrong! You don't ever have to wait for a sale ever again as this outlet makes sure to always have a sale. The great thing is everything is outdoors, but that's also the downside! Especially in the cold, winter, months. Either way it def has its benefits! Main one being no more crowded indoor malls/outlets trying to get to a store. Also, you can park in the parking garage or even park closer to the store you're trying to go to without having to needlessly park at another extreme and go through the "tunnels" of indoor malls haha. Of course, in the winter months it's FREEZING but you easily warm up in the stores while shopping. I'm sure the summer months are hot as ever but you can cool off in the stores. So it's not too bad! LOVE their food court! They have awesome spots and local chains but a little bit of everything for everyone! With awesome stores like Nikes, Adidas, Columbia, Aerie and more, you're definitely going to catch outlet prices with additional discounts! On the nicer/fancier side we gave stores like Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana. Pretty cool for an outlet! Overall, great outdoor outlet. Bathrooms will always and forever be a complaint but hey, they're bathrooms and they're there. Put on some comfortable shoes because you'll be doing a lot of walking! Then you can eat your carbs :p

Yelp
Good Italian food prices were OK but great flavor. Should've got takeout wish I checked everything. Couple of the items were wrong, but they were really tasty.
google avatar

Yvette B.

Yelp
Excellent selections for every price point! Walkable and a great place for the little bites

Jim M.

Yelp
Fun shopping experience though cold in winter as you are outdoors between stores. Though there is a gem in the middle with an outdoor bar with an indoor portion which serves hot drinks and alchohol.
google avatar

Juan O.

Yelp
Numerous stores. Many high end with deep discounts. Highly recommend. Selection of stores vast and many. Variety of clothes. Most places give Veterans discount of up to 10 percent. But to get discount you have to ask for it. Service at various locations varies.

Yelp
I've been here a lot of times in the past couple of years. We passed by after a hike nearby and most stores were down to an electrical outage. Thankfully the stores I wanted to check out like Nike and adidas were operating. Always find a great deal. The one thing that threw me off was the parking. The place was packed and they have different areas for free vs paid parking. Also beware of long lines for certain stores. All in all, definitely worth the trip and it can get dangerous because you can spend the day there just shopping!

Yelp
I am a huge fan of moncler, and have always shopped directly at their retail stores. Today, my husband, myself and a very good friend of ours to take a day trip to the Woodbury commons outlet Moncler. NEVER shop at this location. To begin, waiting on a thirty minute line, with little to no people in the store was not only ridiculous but inconvenient since it was fairly cold. That wasn't really the issue. The issue began once we walked into the store. As we were already beginning our shopping experience the guard at the door called us back and insisted we leave our bags at the door. Now, that isn't such a big deal, the big deal is that previous to us entering, several other Asian, and white people walked in and they were not instructed or demanded to leave their bags at the door. As I did not want to cause a scene, my group and I decided to comply. What struck me was the attitude of the guard. I am a 52 year old professional of European background, my husband of latin origins and our friend is a professional black male. None of us need to steal anything. Not only had we shopped at other high end stores that afternoon (ysl, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Gucci, frette, sferra, and several others). We had many bags. No one before us was asked to leave their bags at the front and I quickly pointed that out as the Asian and white people that went in before us were all walking around with shopping bags. Then the doors were locked behind us! Like are you kidding me???? Are we criminals???? Isn't locking a door in a retail setting during business hours illegal???? I decided to go to the stores manager. Although she was apologetic, she did begin by saying that it's the discretion... to which I immediately stopped her and said "if you are going to say it's the discretion of the guards to pick and choose who has to leave their bags, you are profiling"! She immediately changed her course and said it's not mandatory to leave one's bags. Yet, our group was made to leave our bags. She a middle aged, blond woman with black framed glasses and a bit on the ruebenesque side came from behind the counter and tried to placate me. She said she can assure me that that is not how she runs her store, and tried to get me to shop. I told her to not tell me to calm down and I would most definitely not be shopping at her store. Yet her team was not addressed and the guard in question found it comical! Point of this rant is, first and foremost, never judge a book by its covers (I was wearing Moncler). Two, if you are going to have rules in place, those rules should be for everyone! and lastly, you are minimum wage workers and have literally, in your ignorance and rudeness ruined your company's reputation. Although this is an isolated experience for me with any high end brand, i am forced to read between the lines and address the "white elephant" in the situation! Is this what people mean by racial profiling? Is this the 21st century or the 1950's? How does a company allow situations like this to happen and not address it immediately? MONCLER! You need to do better to keep your brand relevant and not become part of the cancelled brands that have been criticized for being politically incorrect. You have a responsibility to your client base to maintain your level of excellence and luxury and not allow your staff to tarnish your reputation. I hope that at the very least someone from Moncler corporate reads this and changes this behavior.

Yelp
The Aritzia store is so chaotic and lowkey almost sent me and my friends into a panic attack but they sometimes have great deals (usually during holidays). Be prepared to have the employees come up to you every half second and ask if you're doing alright. Also the arcteryx has the best sale a week before Black Friday pro tip

Yelp
It's a good selection of stores, most definitely. Anything high end luxury you can think of, is in this outlet: Gucci, Prada, Dior, Balmain, you name it, there's an outlet there for it. Not surprisingly, its also the prettiest outlet mall I've been to, complete with mountainous backdrop in the back. Do I think its worth the schlep though? Not really. For starters, some of the stores still have security at the entrance, so you may have to wait on line a bit in order to enter some stores. However, it does prevent overcrowding which is a plus. But for an outlet, these really weren't deeply discounted products. And that's honestly my main complaint with outlets nowadays. The sale prices are pretty comparable to what you would find at Saks and Bloomingdales nowadays. So is it worth it to drive all the way upstate to nab sale prices I could find online? To me no. But, if you happen to live in the area and haven't visited yet, I think its worth the trip!

Yelp
Please please tell me who runs this place because whomever it is needs to find another job. They now charge $15 to park. No valet option, no free parking. Just $15 for the privilege of parking and hiking from your car to the mall. And it's honestly not about the money. It's about paying money to spend money which is utterly ridiculous. Maybe they need to do this to offset lost revenue due to the idiotic lines you need to wait in to get into almost every store. That's right, in order to save a minuscule amount of cash by shopping there, plus the 8.375% sales tax that we don't have on clothing in NJ, you may have to wait 30 minutes or more just to get in to browse. This is horrible for business. The primary rule of any retail business whether it be a store or a restaurant or a bar is take peoples money as fast as you possibly can. Get them in, give them what they want, take their money and have them leave. This was perfectly evident in my experience yesterday. I went in and saw a hoodie that I very much liked. It was just over $600 so I figured I would walk around and think about whether I really needed it or not. Finally after about 20 to 30 minutes I realized it was something that I would want. When I went back to the store to buy it, there were about 25 people online waiting to get in so I bailed and went home. That's money that store lost because of a stupid policy of making people wait to potentially take their money. During Covid I totally understood the need for this practice. People were sick and social distancing needed to be maintained. That's not the case anymore, and if it is, make people show vaccination cards in order to get into the mall. Don't inconvenience and piss off your customers so that they leave without spending their hard-earned money. Cold day in Hell before I return.

Yelp
I'm a shopaholic. Period. The same way I shop Bloomies, I shop lower end TJ Maxx stuff. But I just wanted to know how the other half lives. What other half you asked? The kind that would stand waiting on a Gucci or Nike line for an hour and a half (and a few other major designer brands)- but I'm just not that kind of girl. While outlet stores may not have the latest trends or the hottest styles, items are authentic and super discounted. The last time we came here was Black Friday circa '05 and that was the worst mistake EVER. Our Saturday afternoon goal this time, was to get our hands on bedding mostly and other home items. With the exception of Le Creuset and J.A. Henckels which I own, Woodbury doesn't have any bedding stores (not that I saw). The place is well taken care of with COVID indicators all around. Except, there were many folks who weren't wearing masks. The Nike line was horrendous and forget the 6' distance- these people clearly were bunched up as if COVID doesn't exist!!!. (Ø_Ø). Anyhow. But Let's face it: you'll definitely get a bang for your buck because Woodbury Commons is the capital of designer outlet shopping in these neck of the woods and will give you major cheap thrills.

Yelp
My daughter and son-in-law love outlet shopping. I'm not a fan of it, but I was very happy to go along for the ride, see a different part of NY, and spend time with them, esp. my grandson. This outlet complex is relatively new (I'm guessing) based on the architecture, design, cleanliness, etc., and it's quite attractive. I definitely enjoyed all of that. As for the shopping itself...all kinds of upscale designer stores, which don't interest me in the least. BUT... my daughter and son-in-law love it, and so, that makes me happy. I was able to buy some things for my grandson at The Gap, but that was it. I was also quite happy to sit with my grandson (while he napped) and let my daughter and son-in-law get some peaceful shopping done without them having to be on parent duty at the same time. It was this grandma's honor and privilege, let me tell you !!

Yelp
I was very nervous going to Woodbury Commons because I've heard horror stories about not being able to find parking and it being packed. I was nervous too because It's a lot of walking, but I took the chance. We pulled right up to handicapped and walked in! I couldn't believe how clean the stores were and how nice all the workers were in every store we went into! The only store I had a issue at was Guess because their dressing rooms weren't open... I am definitely going to go back there and walk around more when I have more time. It was a lot of fun!

Yelp
Went into Rag and Bone. Items were more expensive or the same prices at the retail store.

Yelp
Great stores, but just absolute chaos on the weekends. People are aggressive to find parking (and swear at you), the bathrooms are an absolute mess (clogged toilets, feces all over the walls, etc.), and lines everywhere. $15 parking now to park closer to the venue. I hope that they try to hold capacity on the outlet at some point, especially during Christmas. Suggestions: - lower $15 parking cost to $10/day - hire more folks for the bathrooms; they are absolutely appalling given the amount people spend there
