I had the best time here! Lynn did an incredible job during my massage but truly every employee went above and beyond. We booked the private room and would highly recommend doing so if you are celebrating a special event. The entire experience was so wonderful and I can’t wait to come back soon!

I’ve always wanted to experience Woodhouse Spa and finally did! And I just had to say what an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From being greeted at the desk to check out everything was 5 stars. A bougie spa can be a little intimidating when you don’t really know what you’re doing or what to expect but the desk coordinators gave me clear instructions and guided me, after I changed I was greeted by my massage therapist Simone and she gave me a rundown of exactly what to expect for my service. The treatment rooms are gorgeous with perfect lighting and atmosphere. Simone checked in with me through the service to make sure I was comfortable and her attention to detail was immaculate. Seriously she was the utmost professional and provided the most relaxing luxe service I’ve ever had. After the service I relaxed with my beverage in one of the quiet rooms someone checked in on me and offered me a neck wrap while I just relaxed and enjoyed the environment. I even dozed off for 15 minutes. I feel brand new! I can’t wait to return already and Woodhouse is going to be a line item in my budget moving forward.

I felt I should have been advised of 67% up charge when she recommended an alternate procedure. I believe cleansing skin is always done on a facial. I left with black mascara all over my face. My right eye is still burning from product used. The micro needling was minimal, guessing less than 60 seconds total .The room was not quiet and relaxing. There was a lot of noise from whatever procedure was going on in the room next to mine. Upon checking out one of my gift cards had $57.00 less than it was supposed to have. No explanation for the missing funds. Although she did extend a 10% VIP discount on the procedure, gratuity charged on full original price of procedure. Overall not a great experience.

The staff at the woodhouse spa Mt. Pleasant was very Courteous, very accommodating, and friendly, they take good care of you while you are there! I would definitely return for more services due to the great personalities that I have experienced! Would be great to have a sauna/hot steam room at the facility in the future.

The Woodhouse spa has definitely changed. I feel like it’s under new ownership used to be a quiet cozy spa that you would go to to relax this time when I came there’s construction workers outside drilling in the building and adding enhancements to create a newer looking spa. It would’ve been a good idea to put that on your website or allow people to know that you’re under construction. The place is on as clean as it used to be There also was not nice snacks at the bar like they used to have. I felt like you were overbooked because it was very loud in there with other clients walking around, not being respectful of the quiet area. My technician was awesome. I really enjoyed my massage, but the atmosphere of Woodhouse spa has completely changed and is not the same. They used to have perfumes and ways for you to fix your hair like dry shampoo like all the little things that made it special to be there are all gone now Bathroom was dirty . And a nice lady at the front desk said loud enough for everyone to hear that we had a 20% gratuity to all of our services now would you like to give MOORE or give Less. I found that to be very tacky. I always tip and I don’t think it’s anyone’s business what I leave. Meaning the surrounding area of clients who are there waiting in line while I’m paying. I feel as if the Woodhouse spa is under new ownership and it shows.

Dermaflash facial with JESSICA was amazing! It was results oriented and also relaxing. Jessica listened to my skincare concerns and recommended some new products without being pushy. I have already booked another facial with her next month. Highly recommend!

Amy is absolutely excellent! I couldn't recommend her more, she's so wonderful and attentive! The only reason why I took off a star was because people were playing videos in the quiet area relaxation room. It might be a good idea to tell customers at check-in that you shouldn't play videos out loud on your phone in those rooms while other people are in there. Other than that, an amazing experience!

It is always a wonderful experience at this spa!! The facility is beautiful, quiet, and soothing. The staff is exceptional. From the moment you arrive everyone you meet is gracious. Checking in, tending to your needs, and not to mention the wonderful therapists and technicians you will not meet a better staff. I can’t wait until my next visit….only two weeks away! 🤗

Felt like a dream, a dream I didn't want to wake up from! Jessica and Jess helped me start my daughter's wedding week with extra care and detail. Thank you ladies! I feel fabulous!

The ambiance is relaxing & cozy & everything you'd want from a spa, including a mimosa bar on the weekends! My service was very relaxing (I got a facial). The bed was heated, lights were dim, and overall the service was gentle & calming. I would've liked to have been given an explanation of each step that the service entailed -- for my own knowledge & because the extractions startled me and I wish I would've had a heads up. Overall I enjoyed it though, and would book again with a better idea of what to expect now. There was also an issue with them refunding my deposit so I could use the gift card I had. I was told I'd have to wait several days for a manager to refund me. I wound up purchasing something so it was a non-issue but I hope they can sort this out for the future so people who are gifted an experience don't have to deal with the back and forth of that.

This is exactly what I needed. The facilities are so relaxing and the staff is wonderful. From the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed and comfortable. The robes are nice and soft, the mimosa bar is an added plus, and all of my services were relaxing, professional and so worth it! For my most recent visit I got the hydra facial with derma-planing and a brow wax. 10/10 recommend. Already ready to book my next service with them.

I can't say much about this place because I've only been in to shop their products. My cousin is an repeat customer of their spa services and speaks very highly of them. I recently went in to do some holiday shopping with a friend and we lucked up on a great sale. They have facial items, make-up, candles, clothing and more. The store was well organized and very calming with the scents they used, providing such a relaxing experience while we shopped. I ended up buying a candle (Hazelnut Torrone) and a journal to utilize on my selfcare journey. The candle, with scents of vanilla, hazelnut and honey, had my whole house smelling yummy and had me and my sons craving something sweet. It smelled like I was baking and the scent expanded throughout the entire house. I'm looking forward to coming back to possibly get a facial or massage and experience all the luxury they have to offer.

They sent tons of text/emails reminding me about my appt and need for 72 hour notice, but the service was not with the person that I requested (after checking around and reading reviews online). While the masseuse was very nice, the massage itself was amateurish and not worth the $. Front desk staff interactions were not what you'd expect from a "high end" experience. Woodhouse has gone down in quality in the last year.

I received amazing service! From the time you walk in until you leave, the hospitality and professionalism is top notch. Latora was the staff member that that delivered my services. She was attentive and provided me excellent service. I went because I got a gift card and I will definitely come back. A wonderful gem of the area! I speak for the rich aunties when I say this I our kind of carrying on! It's a great way to have a staycation. I highly recommend Latora, too!

I paid for a 80 minute massage, which I arrived early for. The masseuse was very late to my scheduled appt, and also ended the massage very early. She talked through the entire massage, even after I asked her for time without talking. I could tell you her entire life story, which was not relaxing for me at all. I wrote a complaint on their online forum and never heard back and it's now been months!! Wouldn't recommend.

The service here was wonderful! We had booked morning appointments and had quick check in and service to the relaxation room. My only complaint was it was a day for my mom and I and they constantly put us in separate rooms where we were left waiting for one another. Separate rooms would not be an issue if we had not ordered a duel room and the small finger food tray to enjoy together after our services. It didn't seem like they had it together for those that are there together. The small gift shop at the front has some wonderful options, but is also very pricey!

I'm so glad I finally had a chance to check out this Woodhouse Spa. I already look forward to my next experience. The crew helps set you up with a locker and spa shoes and some robes where you can change to the level of your comfort. After you're settled in there's a "quiet room" where your esthetician / massage therapist / person will call you. During that time I enjoyed a nice cuppa tea brewed at the perfect temperature! They offer wine, coffee, mimosas, water as well. I had a 50 minute Swedish massage and loved how I melted like a puddle - I was so much at ease I felt dazed and confused lol I liked the quiet rooms where one could read, enjoy some complimentary drinks, and feel cozy in the plush robes. Life is short so I'm going to treat myself while I can and suggest you do too! Go for it!!

Woodhouse Spa - Mount Pleasant on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard is a great place to go for all things spa and relaxation. I have been impressed with their services and everything that they have available here. Good experience every time I have been here.

My massage was great. The front desk associate was super short and unhelpful when I asked her several fairly basic questions. Very disappointing. I've been to the downtown location several times and never had such a bad experience.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to end our trip with a luxury spa massage. They were aware we were on our honeymoon and rather not accommodating which is surprising to me Considering how expensive this spa is for a service. First, when checking out they told us they were unable to use the $210.00 deposit that I paid toward the total bill. This was a posted transaction on my account not pending. She stated she would refund it but could not do it right then and would have to wait until tomorrow. Second, I tried to get a vitamin c mask on my face during my Massage and they also told me no, only if I was getting a facial. Weird they wouldn't take the upsale. Third, I loved the yoga balm that the therapist used at the end of my massage I wanted to purchase. She couldn't find it and said since it was behind the curtain she couldn't grab it and come back in two days.... We are on vacation leaving tomorrow and live in California. Since she tried for two seconds to find it I asked her if she could just send me home with a sample of it and she stated no. Also to add, I remember getting an email when i booked that we would get a free enhancement due to first time. I couldn't find the email after searching and her response was " oh yeah we have that on a promo with a code" she could have honored this as I clearly knew it was an accommodation. My husband and I massages were great but the customer service and lack of accommodation when you are spending over 500 dollars is a bit disappointing. I have friends coming here in three days and had them book here but will be telling them to go somewhere else and cancel their appointments. The massages and therapists were outstanding , very caring ladies and sweet. To add a week later I still have not received my refund for the paid deposit !

10/10 I'm actually in the lounge post-massage, currently sipping a glass of wine my masseuse offered me. This is a lovely experience and i cannot recommend it enough. I was greeted warmly, and was shown to the locker room- robes and sandals provided, as well as code-locked lockers. I waited in the lounge with water and mimosas for only a few minutes before Drew got me. His deep tissue massage was spectacular! He was friendly, but not too chatty- which is perfect in this environment. I will book with him again. I am really looking forward to returning on a regular basis. No wonder you won best of Mt. Pleasant!

Service here was amazing! I enjoyed a pedi, facial, and massage as a birthday treat. The relaxation room was great and they really make sure you are comfortable with a drink in hand! Each staff member that gave me a service also made sure I had everything I needed before and after each treatment. Highly recommend!

So disappointed! Booked 4 appointments total for my husband and I 3 weeks ago. Got a call the morning of to say 1 was being canceled. There was no effort to fix this. I told my husband I'd take the canceled spot and just wait since it is his birthday, but he refused since there was absolutely nothing being done to suggest the spa was working on a solution. Things happen, however the last time I went with a friend she was unable to take her appointment due to a bout with Vertigo. The therapist tried to accommodate her but she was very ill. She was charged for the full service. I've been a customer for years. Not any more.

Incredible experience! Would absolutely recommend booking a spa day with a group of friends or even solo. We enjoyed champagne, appetizers and snacks while we decompressed in the relaxation room, followed by calming facials and dreamy massages. Such a great way to unwind, unplug and recharge. 10/10.

I was able to get a same day appointment for a 50 minute massage here. The location is really easy to get to and the staff was very welcoming when I walked in the door. There's a very quiet and peaceful ambience inside. There's a cute little store where you can buy different types of gifts or items for yourself when you walk in. I was escorted to the locker rooms by the receptionist. I was given complimentary shoes and a really comfy robe to wear while waiting for my appointment. There are two different rooms where you can sit and wait and both had snacks and water. One of them also had a Mamosa bar which was very nice before my service. I had a very relaxing experience here and can't wait to come back.

I have heard so many good things about this spa that I wanted to book it for when my sister was in town. I booked our spa day on our mother's one year of passing from covid. Needless to say, it was a special day for my sister and I and it sucks it ended the way it did at this spa. Overall our services were okay but we were constantly reminded about the limited time we had during each service and it made it kind of stressful. Our facials were good. My sisters esthetician was a lot friendlier and personable than mine. Although my facial was great, I felt really Uncomfortable because it seemed like she was in a bad mood. We then proceeded with a little break and had a charcuterie board and mimosas waiting for us. That was probably the only best part about this experience for me. Massage was good and both therapist were nice but my sisters massage therapist made a comment about my sisters tattoos. My sister had asked for lighter pressure and her therapist said "oh I'm sorry, you're tattoo is so intimidating I thought the pressure would be fine" (she has a full back tattoo) we laughed it off at the time but now that we think about it, it was kind of offensive and from other massage therapist friends, mentioning your clients tattoos is not professional. We then had our pedicures which really Kind of ruined our whole experience. We wanted gel polish and was told we don't have enough time. There was a sign in the room that said to keep conversations to a minimum... which I was so confused about. It was a private room for my sister and I and we weren't allowed to converse? The pedicure was so basic we didn't even get a massage. An average nail salon could have done everything including a gel polish in 50mins! We said something to a staff member and she was apologetic and said she would talk to a manager. No one else came to talk to us. Also, they watched us on the cameras when we were in the lounge area which was creepy. My sister wanted to take the polish off her toes and she accidentally dropped the nail polish remover on the floor.. two seconds later someone came in with towels to clean it up.. just weird that they were watching us. When I went to check out the lady at the desk was very Rude and didn't even ask how our service was. She pretty much asked how I was paying and if I wanted to leave a tip. She did say that the $25 cheese board was free but honestly, I would have much rather a manager come out and talk to us and apologize. I felt like they treated my sister and I differently because of our tattoos and didn't really care to give us good service. Needless to say, if you're looking to relax and get treated like an important customer, don't bother coming to this place. Save your money. It was supposed to be a day of relaxation and we were disappointed.

My husband booked a 80 min massage here for me, for my birthday. This was hands down the best massage I have ever had. I used to go to Massage Envy once a month and tried several of the therapists there, I didn't have any complaints but I have never felt better then I did after walking out of here. I carry all my tension in my shoulders and it seems no matter what I do the knots don't go away, now they weren't totally gone but pretty close. The spa itself is gorgeous inside. The quite room is so peaceful, I hustled wanted to take a nap by the fire, I could stay in there all day. The locker room is really nice, lots of fun products for you to sample. I will definitely be back.

Can someone give me a hallelujah! Gorgeous spa, seriously special pampering touches, sweet staff, quality products. My only regret was that I didn't book more services. I had an eyebrow wax, the signature mani and a hot stone pedi. Fabulous treatments all enjoyed while sipping a mimosa. Afterwards I sat in one of the waiting rooms. I covered with a blanket, sipped cucumber water and let my toes fully dry. Ahhhh. I wanna go back tomorrow. Note: I was really happy to learn that there are several Woodhouse Spas around the country and that there is one near Columbus Ohio where I'm from. This made my day! So not only do I get to enjoy Woodhouse when I'm on vacation in South Carolina, but I can make it a regular part of my routine when I'm at home!

Brought my adult daughter who was visiting in for a facial. I was told I could not sit inside to wait because I wasn't buying a service. Ironically I am paying for the facial for my daughter. So I'm sitting in a hot car waiting because the lady said they don't let people take advantage of their relaxing room. They just lost me as a future client and I definitely won't recommend.

I have been a loyal customer at Woodhouse since they opened. I was scheduled for a facial today, but woke up feeling sick. Sneezing and coughing. When I called to cancel, I was told I would be charged the full amount since I was not canceling within a 24 hour window. Ridiculous! I can certainly understand a service charge for having to cancel but the full amount? I will never return.

Went for a 50 minute massage. Unfortunately, the massage was not enjoyable. It was more of a rub down even though I asked for more pressure. The Masseus had callus's on his hands so the massage was uncomfortable, not the end of the world but it was more scratchy than enjoyable. I mentioned the callus's in a nice way to Sydney at the front desk and she was very rude to me in response. She had a terrible attitude and said "Well I will not have you shame someone for a condition they can't do anything about". I'm definitely not shaming him but it affected the enjoyment of the service which I would think they would appreciate knowing to avoid customers just not returning for the same reason. Anyone with good customer service would have just apologized for my experience and offered a different Masseus for my next visit. It's incredible how the attitude of the front desk staff can make someone never want to return to a business yet it seems this is a recurring problem at this location based on the reviews. I now don't want to go back to use the rest of my gift card because I don't want to have to speak to the rude front desk staff. A spa is supposed to be relaxing and inviting, not stressful. Hoping management can refund my husband for the balance of the card so I can go elsewhere for my facial.

I was able to visit Woodhouse in Mt. Pleasant for my birthday and enjoyed the Spa Classics package with the signature hand retreat added. Was a perfect experience & the bottomless mimosas were an amazing touch. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the spa had several Covid-friendly touches to make everyone feel safe.

For the past few years, I have gone to Woodhouse as a special splurge for myself when I really needed some relaxation and pampering. This is definitely not something I can afford to do too often, which has always made it that much more special. I'm so sad to say that my last visit was such a let down. Something felt off when I came in, instead of the peaceful serene environment I've grown to know and love, the lobby and relaxation area was pretty loud. Sitting in the relaxation room was loud - I could clearly hear every single person that came in and was getting their little tour which seemed unnecessary. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, just different than what I'd expereinced before. My services for the day were a 110 minute massage and a facial. My massage was...bad. I don't know how to describe it other than a 110 minute oily rub down. Upon meeting my masseuse, I told him that I prefer deep/heavy pressure and that I would let him know if it was too much. I asked 5 times during the massage for him to use more pressure...and it never happened. After 5 times, I just gave up. I left the massage room not feeling relaxed, just feeling VERY oily and honestly a little gross. My facial was next, which overall was good - the 10 minutes of massage that I got as part of that facial was better than anything I got on the massage table, however I did have one complaint. After I was undressed, on the table, and she was already performing the facial, she suggested an upsale that I didn't really understand so I agreed to it - I assumed anything once we had already gotten started was part of what I had requested. I was very surprised to learn that I was charged $50 more for something I did not even know what it was, nor would I have agreed to that if she had explained the cost or asked/advised of it up front. Overall, this was an incredibly expensive afternoon which I normally am OK with as a special endulgence, but this was...not it. I will be looking elsewhere going forward.

Always have wonderful massages here, the massage therapist are great! Tables and sheets are cozy and warm, ambiance is perfect. Their relaxation space is open again and they are back to providing robes and champagne - yay! Stars deducted because front desk staff usually aren't very helpful/friendly, at least in the 5ish times that I have been there. Willing to ignore this for a great massage, though.

My friends and I went to the Woodhouse Day Spa in Westedge for my birthday and we each received the Hydrafacial! The service was amazing and left my skin feeling so smooth and glowing! We stayed in the VIP lounge and received AMAZING customer service! Jess is an angel and made sure our day went great! If you're looking for a girls' day, Woodhouse is a must!

From check it to check out, the experience was warm, comfortable and pleasant. The spa is beautiful with endless rooms catered to your needs and a great feeling of exclusivity and privacy. The technology of my hydrofacial deluxe was impressive! My esthetician Julia was very knowledgeable, personable and had a great touch! She explained each step of my service, as well as answered questions and informed me on the products being used. I enjoyed every minute and cannot wait to try new services. I highly recommend gifting your love ones with a gift card to The Woodhouse Spa! I enjoyed choosing exactly what services I wanted and the reception area had a beautiful selection of gifts and products to add to your experience.

If I could leave 6 stars I would. Wonderful hospitality. Talented and caring massage therapists. Beautiful spa. My new husband and I visited here while honeymooning in Charleston. After hearing we were on our honeymoon the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt special. It was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this location if you're visiting or looking for a new spa. Keep up the good work!

We just celebrated 2 birthdays with a spa day for 6 ladies! The entire staff was amazing! Hallie took amazing care of us and Analisa was fabulous during the booking process! I definitely recommend it for a special occasion or just a self care day!!!

To echo another reviewer in regards to COVID. These protocols are not actually followed by staff. For anyone receiving a facial you have to take off your mask so you hope the person providing the facial will have a level of care and respect to maintain proper mask wearing and hygiene at all times. Unfortunately, this does not happen. I want to still get treatments but not if those I am in the care of do not care for me. Please follow proper protocols when working with clients.

Stylish day spa in Mount Pleasant, a 15 minute cab ride from downtown. Loved the calm airy decor and my Swedish massage by Joe. Excellent gift shop too.

I scheduled a massage just to give them a try despite hearing mixed reviews of this location, since I've heard great things about other Woodhouse Spas. Let me tell you--it was amazing! I'm very particular about my massages. I need a perfect moderate pressure--enough to loosen up my muscles but not too much that it causes pain. I have fibro so I'm very sensitive in certain regions of my body & it changes day to day so I never truly know what's going to hurt until the press on it. I always ask for attention to my neck bc my migraines stem from there. However, if my neck muscles are messed with too much it causes a migraine--super fun I know. but massage therapy is recommended as a treatment for both. Kayla did everything perfectly without needing any guidance!! Pressure? Amazing! Time spent on each area? Awesome! Head massage (add-on)? Amazing! CBD Balm (add on) that I had her put on my neck? Amazing!!

My husband and I spent the first day of our honeymoon in Charleston at this lovely spa. We thoroughly enjoyed the Woodhouse Experience! Five hours of professional pampering, mimosa after mimosa, a lovely light lunch provided for two, and a beautiful private relaxation room. The professionals here are exactly that- they want to ensure you are taken care of. I received the absolute beat facial of my life here which is saying a lot for my 48 year old face ;-) The facility is beautiful and all were also kind and frequently checked on us between services. My only complaint is when leaving I needed to have change made as we had 8 people to leave tips for. My young woman I asked to make change appeared irritated that I needed to do so. She had quite the attitude which was not appreciated after spending quite a bit of money at this spa. Good way to wreck a much needed day of relaxing after putting on a twice changed-covid wedding and reception. Other than that it is a great place, with superior therapists, and we loved the Woodhouse experience. Just make sure you have all the correct change for tipping.

Such a great experience! The place is clean, very tranquil and following all covid guidelines. Highly recommend Mark Foil, he was fantastic. The honey butter foot and hand add on was worth it, they're so soft!

My sister and I went for a special Galentine's day massage special. I was immediately impressed by the clean facilities and plush bathrooms. The lounge area had trail mix as snacks and they offered mimosas for the special event. I thought my massage was very relaxing but very light for my liking. I requested more pressure a couple times but didn't believe it impacted the pressure. My sister found her massage to be much deeper, so it must vary greatly by masseuse as we listed the same pressure on the forms. I am docking the star because I found the check out situation to be a little odd. My sister and I checked out with different people (mine was with the general manager and hers was with another employee). Since my bill was $10 more for the same service, I inquired. Instead of simply explaining the difference, the general manager asked for my sister's card to charge her an extra $10 due to an error on their part. Although my sister did pay the extra amount, I found the general manager's response and attitude to be very off-putting.

Get ready to be spoiled. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. The massage was very personalized. There was a complementary mimosa bar, snacks, water, and other drinks. The softest robe was provided along with a free locker for your personal belongings. There was a very calming waiting room and hot neck wraps. I felt absolutely spoiled - it was absolutely worth every penny. Bigger bonus: there was a yelp offer for 20% off. We were thrilled!

My friends and I visited Woodhouse the other weekend for the first time and had an amazing experience! The massages were excellent, service was friendly and accommodating and the facility was clean and had the perfect amount of amenities and space. I would highly recommend especially for a bachelorette weekend or just a girls day!

Thumbs down Got a gift card for my birthday but they wanted my credit card to make an appointment. I thanked the Appointment setter but declined. Never got a thank you back from her just a hang up, no service.

Another Woodhouse Sunday for me today, each time seems to be better than the last! Today the spa was a bit busy, I was lucky to snag a chaise to relax and read for a half hour before my appointment - unfortunately, afterwards it was too crowded for me to find a comfy seat for post-appointment relaxation. My appointment today was a 50 minute Pure Hydrafacial with Krista W. and it was fantastic. Krista was such a knowledgeable professional with recommendations and suggestions; the facial left me feeling deeply cleansed and fresh-faced. I really enjoyed this spa . It is the perfect retreat for relaxation and pampering. The locker room was spacious and offers toiletries for anything you might need during your visit. The robe they provide is super comfortable and the waiting room lush and cozy. It seems that they have two waiting rooms to separate men and women and I like that. Nothing kills my spa vibe than being in a robe trying to relax with dudes all around - as I have experienced at other local spas. My 80 minute deep tissue massage was excellent. The therapist was very good at pinpointing tight muscles and working out the knots. It was so relaxing! Massage was followed by the "minkyti" facial. My skin has been a little dry and this facial is supposed to help with hydration by using organic seaweed . My esthetician was very sweet and professional and I really loved this treatment. I really appreciated that she did not try to push skin care products on me during the treatment which helped me be able to relax and enjoy the service. I also appreciated that the walls were well insulated and the building spacious enough so you did not hear any background noise from other guests or employees. That is sometimes not the case at other spas and it unfortunately detracts from the experience. After my services they ushered me back to the waiting room and offered me a mimosa. I enjoyed the cocktail while catching up on my book I'm reading. I highly recommend Woodhouse Spa and I can't wait to go back!
