We stopped for a quick coffee which was exceptional but were so drawn by the great plates that we decided to stay a tad longer to grab a bite. It’s has a great menus and I missed taking the pictures of the avocado toast and the granola bowl, both of which we would highly recommend. And of course the highlight was the Burrata!!! I just hope the service was more efficient. We had long waits between our orders. I do hear it’s an amazing place for breakfast so that’s what we would do next!!

Mohammed Alghafly

Google
This breakfast spot serves phenomenal food—fluffy pancakes, perfectly poached eggs, and vibrant avocado toast burst with flavor. The coffee is rich, and the house-made granola is a wholesome gem. However, the service, especially at outdoor tables, disappoints. Staff are polite but rarely present, leaving diners waiting for orders, refills, or the bill. Empty plates linger, and water glasses stay dry, dimming the meal’s shine. The cozy outdoor setup deserves better attention. With improved service, this place could be a breakfast star.

Google
I had the Pancake with bacon that was very good and was happy to see they did not skimp on amount of bacon on the pancake. Ate outside on beautiful day and enjoyed my time very much. Service was good, no complaints. As this is a touristy area, expect to pay 20-30 euro for 1 person with drink for brunch.

Rebeca Porcilă

Google
Delicious breakfast spot! The food is fresh, flavorful, and the plating is great. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect place. Highly recommend the avocado toast and Hemingway Eggs.

Govind Dhar

Google
Open on Sundays importantly and warm, welcoming staff. Excellent coffee and delicious eggs Benedict on crispy bacon and fresh brioche. Full marks!

Rachelle Hornby

Google
Good brunch menu. Quality food and coffee. Popular though so may have to queue for a table. Hipster style place and options. Quiet loud inside as small room so a bit hard to talk.

Google
This place was 🔥🔥🔥 They got a lot of different options for bunch! Anyyyy of the poached egg meals are delicious. We tried 3 different and each one was wonderful! The place was sooo good that we came back for a 2nd time. I would highly recommend this place for sure!

Liza

Google
Good experience, nice service, and the food overall tastes very deliciously. But the benni eggs, waffles, and pancakes from one side were overcooked. 4.4 rating is a good reflection.

Amit K.

Yelp
Excellent food especially the savory waffles and the mochachinno. The wait was a bit too long.

Yelp
This spot was very cute and quaint! I loved all the sunlight that came in and all the plants! Such a cheerful space! Made better by the lovely waitress who took my party's order. I had a latte, bacon pancakes, and breakfast potatoes. All of it was excellent. The pancakes were a bit over-syruped for my taste but still very good. Bathrooms were very clean. Payment was easy. I'd return and I recommend Woodpecker.

Yelp
Really great food and drinks. We wanted to have a breakfast in Belgium and opted for French Toast and Chai Tea. It was delicious. We seated quickly and did not have to wait a long time to be served. The ambience was cozy and cute for a breakfast place.

Yelp
YES! A must try if you're looking for a modern savory twist to the classic Belgian Waffle. I ordered the Drunken Sailor, which comes with a leek waffle, two poached eggs, cured-salmon and sauce on top and... spectacular. I inhaled it within minutes since it was that good! I love waffles, but the downside is it can be too heavy. What made this particular waffle stand out was it wasn't too thick and didn't compromise the integrity of the meal itself. You could really taste all the flavors that Woodpecker 47 intended for you to taste. ATMOSPHERE: Perfect for parties of less than 4. Indoor space is a tight squeeze and conversations stack on top of each other, while the outdoor patio is even more limited. SERVICE/STAFF: Service was quite slow and small staffing during brunch (3). I ordered a few drinks and didn't have them come out until I reminded the staff. By the time it arrived, I had already finished my meal.

Yelp
Always a line to get a table as it is in a tourist spot but it's worth the wait and the que move quickly. The staff was fantastic and friendly. Food came out hot and fast. The peck special was good and golden latte was on point.

Christina F.

Yelp
Love the food here. Cappuccino is great too. Cozy environment. I would recommend this place.

Yelp
Just because there are more tourists here than locals doesn't mean it's not worth going. A couple tips: be a smaller party...parties of 2 often get seated within 15 minutes, no matter how long the lines look. Secondly, come earlier or later to avoid the peak rush crush. You'll have a chance to have a "belgian benedict" here as that dish comes with a nice side salad and the eggs are put on mini waffles.

Sadie R.

Yelp
I cannot even describe what I ate just look at it... so good and the coffee was nice and foamy too
google avatar

Yelp
We came here for breakfast and luckily we didn't have to wait. The interior is quite cozy, as is the bathroom. I ordered the magic mushroom, which is basically an eggs Benedict over a waffle. It was tasty and filling. I also enjoyed a healthy juice.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here on a Wednesday morning. We got seated outside since the was the only table left unless we want to wait until the inside opens up. It was a pretty risky move for us because the weather in Brussels at that time was wishy washy. We had to wait a while for the server to take our order because they are going by the order of people who came in. I must say the price here was pretty decent and the food was delicious. If I were to come back to Belgium, I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Atif M.

Yelp
Great food. We order waffle salmon and waffle with chicken and they were delicious. Waffles were so fresh and was cut like butter.
google avatar

Yelp
Very enjoyable. Tasty meal, good service, pleasant ambience. We shared an egg Benedict. The potatoes were delish.

Yelp
Worth the wait. Had breakfast here before our train to Amsterdam. Quick service and everything tasted amazing!
google avatar

George R.

Yelp
Drawn here because it was one few places in the area that offered a more savory take on the liege waffle. Drunken sailor is a sort of eggs benedict over waffles with smoked salmon as protein. The magic mushroom is similar, but swap salmon for mushrooms. Both incredibly tasty - the mushrooms tasted a little like truffles. And the salmon had a strong, smokey flavor. Eggs poached perfectly and the waffle gave everything a nice crunchy texture. The greens served on the side we're actually pretty flavorful, an interesting mix of bitter and mild varieties. The pancakes were served with a tasty blend of local berries. The dollop of white stuff is actually a white chocolate ganache. So good combined with the berry sauce.

Yelp
This place prepares some amazing dishes that are presented with classy creativity. My wife ordered a savory three cheese, poached egg and waffle dish that I had the pleasure of sampling and I had the avocado toast dish, both were prepared perfectly and delicious! Good service and a very comfortable atmosphere made for an amazing meal. Definitely recommended.
google avatar

Alvin Y.

Yelp
Ordered "The Peck" and the Magic Mushroom". Both tasted great. I was first a little upset for being served a a half size of sparkling water for 2.50 euros. Considering everything on the menu was moderately priced why jack up the cost of water and sparkling to 2.50 for half bottles. Sorry for the rant. I would come back because it is good. I just won't order the waters anymore
google avatar

Garima G.

Yelp
Leek Waffle with Truffle sauce, mushrooms and poached eggs with "psycho sauce" I've never tried a leek waffle before so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. The psycho sauce was supposed to be a spicy hollandaise sauce, it was delicious but disappointing that it wasn't spicy at all. Overall this is a good breakfast spot tucked away near the streets of Grand Place
google avatar

Zayka Z.

Yelp
The food was amazing, the service was very slow, like anywhere in Brussels, and the wait to get a table was just horrendous - one hour in line, once we seated another 20 minutes to get our order in, 15 more to get our drinks and then another 30 minutes to get the food. However, the food was absolutely delicious!
google avatar

Margie P.

Yelp
Excellent flavors, cool ambiance. Nice multi-lingual servers. I loved the savory Magic Mushroom Waffel. My daughter loved the Big House on the Berry, she got the smaller version. Cappuccino and Iced Macha Latte were good.

Yelp
Delicious food made quickly! Perfectly poached eggs and love the condo with cheese. Waffles are fluffy and crispy. Will go back

Yelp
Okay, what comes to mind when you think of Belgium? Chocolate? Beer? Waffles? All of the above? Okay, what about waffles and benedicts? Yes, seriously. Peck 47 serves up amazing benedicts, but instead of a traditional English muffin, they decide to serve it on a mother. effing. waffle. Yep. I said it. Benedicts. You really can't go wrong no matter which one you order. I opted for the Veggie Peck Special, but seriously. Every single benedict is topped with two perfectly poached eggs and a delicious rendition of hollandaise. It will make all of your brunch dreams come true, and I guarantee you will continue to dream of it long after you've dined. Coffee. Also a great selection of caffeine to wash down your food. Short blacks, flat whites, lungos, lattes... basically any and every espresso drink you can think of crafted to caffeinated perfection. It's probably a good thing that I don't live in Brussels, or I would visit this place every day.
google avatar

Kathy V.

Yelp
Food was surprisingly really good! I'm not a big brunch type of foods person, so I didn't have high expectations. Was a great first meal visiting Brussels :) they have both indoor and outdoor seating - outdoor may be better nowadays with the extreme heat. Restroom is a single and small room. Service was a little slow for us, but not complaining! Food is worth a frequent visit!

D R.

Yelp
Great for Breakfast and lunch the cue moves quickly. I wish that it was bigger space. Kind of tight.
google avatar

Mariel F.

Yelp
Great service and good food! Location is great and don't be deceived by the size of the building as there is ample seating inside. The Golden Latte, caffe latte and Chana Masala latte were delicious!

Yelp
Sigh... I still dream of Peck 47 every once in a while back home in the U.S. My friend and I were on a two-day trip to Brussels from London, and we were craving some good brunch food. Peck 47 was located just a few minutes away from where we were staying and had some great reviews, so we decided to check it out. The line was pretty intimidating on a weekday for brunch. We were told that for a table for 2, it would be about a 40 minute wait. We decided that it would be worthwhile, however, and took the time to chit chat and look at the menu while we were waiting. We were seated within about half an hour, actually, which was a nice surprise. The waitress figured that we already decided on what items we would order, and she took our orders right away. All of the Peck's waffles sounded delicious and made it difficult to choose, but I settled on The Cheesy One. Holy moly, The Cheesy One delivered! I had to pace myself not to inhale the dish all at once. The psycho sauce was so good - like hollandaise somehow taken to the next level - and the eggs were poached perfectly. The balsamic dressing they drizzle over the side salad is amaazing as well. I wasn't ashamed to ask for some extra on side. The waitress checked on us periodically and laughed when I enthusiastically told her that the wait was worth it! Peck 47 is a terrific brunch option, or even if you're craving breakfast/brunch past noon, they serve brunch all day. The interior is super cozy and decorated to look like home, and the employees are all very friendly. There may be a wait when you come here, but your patience will be well-rewarded with a yummy meal.

Yelp
Fresh juices, great cappuccino and tasty waffle mushroom with eggs. Reminds me of USA. I think this is custom to our likings
google avatar

Rena U.

Yelp
The vegan cakes here are to die for! As their sign says: cake or death! Great almond milk cappuccino, too! And, friendly, helpful service!
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
Breakfast here was wonderful! I got the leek waffle with house-cured salmon and poached eggs and my partner got the goat cheese and chorizo waffle with bacon and poached eggs. Both waffles came with a delicious side salad, which I was really happy about, so I didn't have to start the day of walking around feeling all heavy with rich potatoes. My longo latte, apple/cabbage/cinnamon juice, and mint water were excellent accompaniments!
google avatar

Christina R.

Yelp
I thought the quality of the food here was spectacular. I love a good poached egg and the leek waffle I got with my drunken sailor was absolutely delicious. Yes, the price is quite high but it's to be expected because it is a popular place in a more central location. Also, I thought the serving size was on the small side but the quality of items is pretty large. My waffle was stacked with the house cured salmon, which again makes me think of why the price was higher. The service was ok. I came in on a Friday morning around 10am and it was busy but there wasn't a wait. Upon walking in the server that sat me seemed to have it all under control but then he went to work in the back and another server worked the room. I was a little frustrated by this because I sat there without my order being taken while people who came in after me got their order taken first. I guess it kind of made me feel slightly better that the couple who came in before me got their order taken after me but not really. The system should be better. She just seemed really flustered and behind. But even with the service issues, I still think this was an amazing breakfast.

Yelp
This was a lovely escape from the crowds and the cold. We came here twice during our visit to Brussels. The first time we got hot chocolate and a charcoal latte. The second time we got hot chocolate again, a cappuccino, and pistachio & white chocolate cake. Everything we had was delicious. They play lovely music, and the atmosphere in general is very relaxed. They have a WC for customers which is great since you have to pay to use restrooms around the area. I didn't try any other food but it all looks really well made and flavorful. They serve breakfast all day which is nice for those of us who enjoy a lie in :) they also have free tap water which is virtually unheard of here. I recommend a visit for all the reasons listed above.
google avatar

Rylee T.

Yelp
One of the best brunch spots in Brussels! It was very busy when I arrived with my boyfriend but we didn't end up waiting very long at all. I ordered "the cheesy one" (two poached eggs over waffles, etc.) and my boyfriend ordered "the drunken sailor" (two poached eggs over waffles with gin-cured salmon, etc.). The atmosphere was nice, the service was fast, and the food was great! Awesome option for a yummy brunch in the historic city of Brussels!
google avatar

Yelp
The food and the staff here were great! The we ordered breakfast and it was really good. The bathroom was also very clean. The staff were so friendly and even offered us a sample of something. I would go back, also the general feel of the place was nice.

Yelp
After walking to a spot that ended up being closed for Summer holiday, we walked a short distance to Peck 47, which is only a few blocks from our Air BnB in Brussels centre. We arrived around 9:15am and were quickly sat at one of the last available tables. After us a line quickly formed out the door in the rain. I started with an espresso and my husband a lungo (between an espresso and Americano). Both were perfect for a wake-me-up. Our meals came just in the knick of time as we had a free walking tour scheduled for 10am. I ordered the veggie brunch, which was essentially two poached eggs over a variety of seasoned vegetables served with spicy tomato relish and hearty bread on the side. It was seasoned well and quite filling. It even, dare I say, seemed pretty healthy. My husband had the classic eggs Benedict with bacon. A salad came on the side as well. He thought it was flavorful and the eggs were cooked perfectly-a solid choice over all. Service was typical of Europe-not checked on after your food is delivered-but I've learned that's the way it is, which is different than in the US since servers back home are dependent on tips. The atmosphere is cute, kinda hipster, but you see all kinds in there regardless. Pay at the register after your meal. I'd definitely return here for breakfast if I were to find. Self in Brussels again.

Yelp
This is the place to be for your Benedict cravings. Perfectly poached eggs and delicious variations in Hollandaise sauces. I don't remember the name of what I got but it had a waffles, bacon, poached eggs and an amazing hollandaise. Everyone at the table got Benedict's of different kind and not one of us wanted to share so it was good. Another plus are the smoothies, I ordered the vanilla kale and it was great. Not much kale flavor but the vanilla was strong. To end off the meal, we ordered the carrot cake and a lime cake. Cakes were a little dry but flavorful. Kudos to the owners for using paper straws rather then plastic.

Leelynn F.

Yelp
Such a great brunch spot! The poached eggs were perfect- not super runny but not hard. The psycho sauce was DELICIOUS. The fresh apple juice, fresh orange juice, all amazing. The French toast tasted like summer. I was very impressed with this place, and it lived up to the expectations I had for it based off previous reviews.
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
Just wow. Five stars for a savory waffle breakfast that they call "Drunken Sailor." Waffle topped with smoked salmon and poached eggs and then hollandaise sauce. Un-damned-believeable perfect breakfast. As good as it gets. Service was good with menus in English and a fab coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
We made a quick stop here for breakfast and we are soooooo happy that we did! Amazing food! Everything was so fresh! The atmosphere was also amazing and the service was very efficient and quick!

Yelp
This place serves breakfast all day and has a good purpose. I needed to be somewhere in the morning and most of the restaurants open for a later breakfast. Peck 47 was the only place that I could on Yelp in close proximity to my hotel that opened early enough. This a quaint little place with some flair on the walls. They play cool music in here. My colleague and I perused the menus and saw some plates that had waffles on them. At that point I had not had a waffle in Belgium yet so hankering a good waffle. I ordered a plate with bacon, waffles and poached eggs and was surprised to see the tiniest waffles I had ever seen in my life and my breakfast was served with a salad. I can't remember ever eating a salad for breakfast before. My meal was OK but my waffle expectations were not met. This meal was not bad but this place was open when I needed it to be. Three stars!
google avatar

SJ K.

Yelp
Came here twice during my time in Brussels bc the food was that tasty for brunch and never failed! We were seated quickly even tho the restaurant was filled with guests. Great service, hip background music, and cool decor. Fair brunch selection mainly of different waffle and poached eggs combos. I'd say the portion size was just right - the meals are filling, but you don't feel super stuffed. If you're visiting from out of town, you'll see that this restaurant is in a great location.
google avatar

Nobu B.

Yelp
Overall, not bad. The waitress was nice. The food was fairly good, except that all of our orders had an over cooked poached egg. When you get a poached egg, cutting it in half and having the yolk run through the rest of the food is the best part. But you can't do that with a hard yolk. The hollandaise sauce was sort of bland. But the waffles were crispy and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The food took longer than expected, maybe close to an hour to arrive. Thank God we snacked on some waffles from the waffle factory on our way here haha. So we weren't starving thus just calmly waited for the food.

Yelp
First time visiting this city and stopped here for brunch. Came in a little after they opened and was seated right away. I decided to try their dirty golden latte which is consist of tumeric, ginger, coffee and almond milk. So yummy! Their homemade apple juice was delicious too! We ordered the peck special which is a savory chorizo waffle with bacon and poached eggs and their egg Benedict. Great portions and delicious. Their eggs are from a local farm which I love as I raise my own chicken and have fresh eggs daily. The place got packed after half an hour being here with a line out the door waiting for seating! Such a great place to eat- I would eat here everyday!
google avatar

Morgan S.

Yelp
Over-cooked eggs, average breakfast food, slow service and good coffee We were really excited to try this brunch spot based on all the great reviews, but it wasn't what we expected. Our breakfast items (eggs Florentine and the cheesy one) were both average. Our poached eggs were over-cooked and the yolks were not runny. My boyfriend ordered a mixed drink and could not drink it, because it was way too strong. The coffee and juice were both good. We were seated quickly, but it took a while to order our food. And our drinks came at the same time as the food.

Yelp
We stopped in Belgium specifically because of the chocolate and Peck 47! On our way to Amsterdam we decided to swing by Brussels to see what this historic city had to offer. I had bookmarked Peck 47 as I anticipated we might stop by, I'm glad we did. Upon arrival we had a small wait of about maybe 15-20 minutes which is ok because the locals were saying it can be longer since they don't take reservations and the food is good. Our party of 4 was seated and we were greeted very warmly and were pleased the both servers spoke great English at our attempt of Dutch failed, but they were happy we tried. We went with Hot Chocolate since it was pretty darn cold outside, so rich with the perfect consistency. It wasn't too creamy or watered down, just right. Perfectly toasty! Loved it. The show stopper was the two perfectly poached and seasoned eggs topped with a chorizo hollandaise, that sauce was everything! Wait I'm not done... it sat on top of a delicious perfectly made waffle and smoky bacon. My suggestion is to let the sauce and the yolk from the poach eggs drip on the waffle and try to get a little bit of everything in every bite, you will really appreciate and enjoy the texture and flavor. I really enjoyed the service and hospitality and the food was A+.

Yelp
We went here for our first meal in Belgium on our honeymoon and it was perfect. Got two Belgian beers and eggs benedict and couldn't have asked for more. As tourists the wifi and bathroom were much-appreciated, and the eggs were perfect.
google avatar

Kontji A.

Yelp
Waited to sit down, waited longer for service only to be told they would not make any personal changes to any items on the menu. I had requested to get my eggs well-done. Left.

Yelp
With a brand resembling the Twitter bird, you'd expect Peck 47 patrons to be tweeting up a storm about their great brunch items and juices. Unfortunately I can only advocate for the later because this was sadly a huge disappointment in our Brussels food tour. Yelp gave some great reviews for Peck 47 and since it was so centrally located, we decided it would be our next spot for breakfast before checking out the surrounding area. During a weekday, the restaurant was still very packed with a small wait if you arrive after it opens. We were seated next to the windows which did provide a nice ambience for our experience. Food wise though- definitely pricy and bland for a lack of better word. Their waffle Benedict creations were so disappointing and we had high hopes since we were in Brussels. To start, my Drunken Sailor (€13) came with some incredibly bland smoked salmon on top of a soggy flat waffle. The flavors did not blend well and it felt way overpriced for what we got. The fresh squeezed juices however helped to redeem Peck just a bit. My carrot/orange/apple/ginger smoothie ended up being a saving point for what was a pretty meh meal. Perhaps their other brunch options reign supreme over their waffles, so I'd recommend giving those a try instead if you stop by.

Yelp
Fabulous brunch. They do a fantastic mix of foods and sandwiches with great seasoning. But be warned: They only do eggs one way...poached. Nice cozy space with efficient staff. It is first come first serve but the table turn over is decent so you don't have to wait too long. Great place for lunch/brunch

Yelp
This place is now one of my favorite breakfast places in Brussels... and it's not only my favorite place... everyone loves it, so be ready for a short wait. However, if you vist after peek hours, you might get lucky and be seated immediately. The servers were friendly and incredibly good at accommodating our needs in English. Our server was patient, kind and generous and she suggested I'd try 'The Cheesy One', which is what I did. A leek waffle, two poached eggs with the 'psycho sauce', veggies and cheddar cheese. And what a great suggestion she gave! I loved it! My leek waffle was delicious, absolutely delicious. The psycho sauce is a spicy hollandaise sauce that was exquisite. I'm a lover of spicy foods and the sauce is best described as a gentle fire burning on top of a still lake. Perfect. The eggs were wonderfully poached, runny on the inside and firm enough on the outside. The veggies on the side were basic but a good add on to the entire dish. I suggest you order some bread on the side, which is served warm, if you're a big eater- such as myself. The environment is clean and cosy, a beautiful balance between urban and hipster. Strong eye for detail! Look around the space and you'll be amused with the random quotes, info and animations. They have a single toilet non gender specific. Just make sure you leave it clean ;-) A tip for the restaurant: perhaps, allow the customer to decide wether they want a full waffle or half a waffle. I could have easily eaten the entire waffle as the 2 pieces are quite tiny. Surely will revisit when back in Brussels!

Yelp
My first meal in Belgium could not have been any more hipster cliche if I tried: organic cheesy waffles with a mochaccino. Yeah, I wasn't kidding. Peck 47 was spotless. Very modern, casual and welcoming feel. Bright and airy. Tables spaced comfortably apart. Very nice servers. Other solo diners too, which made me feel even better. It didn't take too long for my food to come out. The waffle was seriously delicious. I could've eaten a second helping. My mocha was pretty good as well. A very nice spot for a quick but wholesome breakfast in Brussels' center, indeed.
