Bangalow is such a trendy place….just don’t visit during school holiday periods.
This cafe is part of a complex that includes arts and crafts shops . The chairs and tables are little rickety and you have to line up and order. Food is delivered to the table.
The food choices are vegan and healthy.
No, I am not vegan but sometimes I enjoy putting food into my body I know is good for me.
My plate of food was also extremely colourful!

One of the best cafes I’ve been to in a long time anywhere in Australia and definitely the best in the Byron Shire. Charming setting amidst a bunch of “hipster sheds” and courtyards with plenty of outdoor seating - perfect for the winter sunshine. Service is friendly and full of positive vibes. Menu is creative and very interesting with lots of eclectic options and specials. All of the breakfast egg dishes were delicious and bursting with flavour and perfectly seasoned. The homemade cakes were also amazing, including the white chocolate matcha tea cake and the peanut butter and fudge brownie. Looking forward to coming back many more times whenever I’m passing through the Shire.

The area and staff are nice but for $33 this is not worth it. As a local, it’s frustrating to see another tourist trap in bangalow. Looks lovely but nothing on the menu is suited for takeaway. I was given this meal with no cutlery or napkins. Soggy bread after walking 2 minutes away to eat it. Around $4 extra for an egg. I’ll stick to cafes on the main street unless prices are reduced. Best of luck.

We loved Woods Bangalow. We sat on the verandah enjoying the breeze, great coffee and a Cubano. We can hardly wait to come back to work our way through the entire menu.

Thank you Sam for catering for our special family birthday celebration last week. The food was amazing, your service and friendliness were exemplary. Such a wonderful experience in every possible way. So helpful, accommodating and professional. Would give more stars if I could!

The most gorgeous cafe, ‘go to spot’, surrounded by locally made art, clothes and jewellery. Food was great, service was fantastic. Beautiful place to read a book, meet friends, buy local art & soak in the Bangalow surrounds.
Menu is created around organic locally farmed produce & you can tell by just how fresh and tasty the food is. So many freshly baked treats to suit all tastebuds.
Children and pet friendly, plenty of seating under cover or under the sun.

Really nice. Not as good as its sister restaurant (folk). You can construct your own "elixirs" which are quite nice. the coffee is good and the meals are great, we both enjoyed the double butty and the harvest bowl, but there is a 10% weekend surcharge and the meal wasn't great value.

Ordered this plate as it was the only semi plant based option. After asking for the eggs to be removed they still charged me for a piece of toast… the food was delicious but I would love to see less SUFFERING (animal products) on the menu and to be a bit more reasonable when adapting the meal…
Thank you but if I was to return I would need to see dramatic shifts in what’s offered…
