If you want fancy this isn’t it , but if your a lover authentic Tex mex BBQ this is your place . It’s a very relaxed atmosphere with a solid following . I had the Burnt ends with baked beans and the best battered fries this world has to offer. my wife had a really good cheese burger and garden salad. Our waitress was friendly and attentive . Everything was exactly as it should be and the house sauces were delicious . This place earned my business in a zillion different ways . I’ve been to allot of different BBQ places all over the country and this place is legit in all the right spots . Delicious down home cooking .

Hadn't been there in years. A group of us went on a Saturday night, I had called ahead and made reservations. We arrived about 45 minutes early, I asked the hostess if she could seat us, and she said no problem and found my group of 4 a table. The food was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. Definitely not waiting years to go back

Been here many times the food is always great, love that they serve tortilla chips while you are waiting for your food. Had the special this time, it was pulled pork and enchilada with some side dishes too. The food was great and the portion sizes are nice and big!

The El Diablo beverage was delicious, and the burnt ends (from their delicious smoked brisket) portion size was super tiny. I literally received 5 pieces, similar to the size of 2 sugar cubes (each)!! I highly recommend the regular brisket (portion size is ample) and I highly recommend the jalapeno cornbread. Their cornbread is always moist and delicious. This time I tried their potato salad (it's seasonal) and their Mac n cheese for my sides. I was disappointed with both. The Mac n cheese was super dry and not very cheesy, no cheese sauce. The potato salad was all mayo/sour cream and not much else. Potato salad was very plain, couldn't taste eggs, onions or much of anything else. The server was awesome and the food always comes pretty quickly.

If you want to enjoy some amazing BBQ, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. With great prices attentive friendly staff and a decor and atmosphere that will make you feel like you're eating at your best friend's mom's house. Make sure to order the burnt ends for a starter. Highly recommend the Ribs and kielbasa combo!

This place is fantastic! Top quality food, friendly staff, and a gorgeous view on the drive here. The chicken wings are smoked, then fried & sauced, they are a must-try. I love the hot honey flavor but all are good. The BBQ offerings are excellent and so is the Mexican food!

Very accommodating. Good menu variety. For lunch today,I had delicious ribs with a side of brisket. My wife had the Ceasars Salad with Grilled Chicken. We love dining here.

Wood Pit is a local jewel with its own authentic vision of Western BBQ and Tex Mex. It is a place that celebrates localness which some of the Karen reviewers just don’t get. The margaritas are amazing and the enchiladas and burritos remind me of back country tavernas in Southwestern Colorado. Ignore the negative reviews. This place is amazing!
