Woody's Wood-Fired Pizza

I love Woody's!! Every time I am in Golden, I make sure that this is an item on the itinerary. The all-you-can-eat pizza and salad buffet is a classic choice, but there are also lots of other menu options to explore. The wood-fired pizza is made with Colorado-style tucked-under crust, and each table comes equipped with some local clover honey to top it off. The staff is always super friendly, and it seems like the place runs very efficiently. The atmosphere is busy but cozy, with booth and table seating, eccentric Colorado-themed decorations, indoor and outdoor seating, a bar, and even trivia nights! Woody's is super popular, so there is almost always a wait for a table around dinnertime. Definitely show up early and get on the wait list. I like to walk around town and get ice cream before dinner! All members of your group must be present before you will be seated. The prices are slightly steep, but it appears they do pay their workers fairly, as there is a line item on the receipt for a "fair wages fee" or something along those lines. Additionally, the food is so yummy and nostalgic that it is worth the price.

Great food made with the beat ingredients. Hords of folks show up for the pizza, but I like the "Hobo", or Philly Chease steak. We come here for the awesome dog friendly outside seating. This place is allways busy but they manage the people and all the pups very well. They love dogs and Anna took great care of us.

What a fun place! Staff was amazing too 👏 We got the all you can eat buffet that included salad bar, soup and pizza. We also tried several local beers that were delicious. The soup was beer cheese potato and it was delicious! Especially for dipping your pizza crust 😉 I loved every kind of pizza we tried but the hot honey ricotta with basil was my favorite. Even though it's buffet style you can order any pizza and they will make it and call it over the intercom for you to run up and grab a piece. You can also order personal pizzas and tons of other menu items like wings, burgers and sandwiches. They also have a ton of different alcoholic drinks to choose from. We opted for the buffet because it was the same price as each of us ordering a personal pizza. The wait was not terribly long for table either, we sat at the bar and were half way through our beers when we were seated. This was a really fun experience that I recommend for families and pizza lovers ❤️

So good! Woody’s was awesome! The salad bar, beer cheese soup, and pizza buffet were all really good. Local, laid-back vibe. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Went here Thursday, August 28, and at 6:43 p.m., ordered for take-out at Window D their "Backpack" pizza, regular crust. I twice said small but the order taker asked for the price of a large. Either she put it in wrong, or was trying to pocket $10. The pizza was ok, but nothing special. We ate it on the back porch which was sort of nice, after a rainstorm, but no view. I went inside for a moment and was amazed people wanted to be crammed in like that. Leaving town we drove past the Golden Mill, which I did not know about before, and I now wish we had gone there instead.

We really enjoyed our visit to Woody’s! The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, and there was always a great variety of hot, fresh pizzas coming out. We appreciated that new kinds were rotated in regularly—not just the same ones over and over. Our favorite was the Buffalo chicken pizza—we’d come back just for a whole pie of that! The beer cheese soup was also a standout. We dipped our pizza in it and loved every bite. Great spot all around!

Delicious food. Pizza, salad, soup buffet and a yummy Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Really good atmosphere. Did have to wait but not for long. They are fast and efficient.

This place hit the spot. We are always looking for good pizza and we found it here. The salad bar was fresh and had more options then I have ever seen for a salad. It was missing French dressing though. The staff was very friendly. There was a nice variety of pizzas on the buffet.

I personally love Woody's because the staff is amazing and the food is great! 10/10 would recommend! On Wednesdays they have trivia and it's a perfect time to hang out with your friends!

We've been to Woody's Wood Fired Pizzza and Watering Hole a number of times but we always had their $16.99 all-you-can-eat buffet with pizza, salad and soup. I mean - it's called Woody's Wood-Fired Pizza so why wouldn't you have pizza. This time, however, we all opted to order off their regular menu and none of us regretted it. In fact, our waiter (who was great, BTW) - said people always focus on the pizza and they forget that Woody's also has an excellent kitchen staff who prepares great non-pizza meals. My son and I both ordered bison patty melts from their burger menu. It came with a choice of fries, chips or a salad - of course, we went for the fries. My wife ordered a a Reuben and my DIL ordered the create your own burger with salad (self serve from salad bar). My patty melt ranks in one of the 3 best burgers I've ever tasted and the fries were excellent. My wife's Reuben and fries were also great. My DIL enjoyed her burger but was especially pleased with the salad bar and the salad she created. We ordered a pizza for the grandkids and our waiter brought it out ahead of the other entrees (it was done first) which was a hit with the kids. It also kept them quiet while we waited for our own meals. FANTASTIC BURGERS, GREAT SERVICE, ALWAYS A FUN PLACE TO EAT IN GOLDEN. This wasn't our first visit to Woody's and certainly won't be our last.

If you're coming for the World-Famous Pizza Buffet (which you should!), come when they're busy! Timing is everything! This place was hopping busy when I came. I had gone to the Coors Factory just prior and decided to come her afterwards. There was a lady outside sitting atop a high chair, like a lifeguard height chair. I didn't realize she was the one you check-in with for a table. I saw other people checking in with her, so I talked with her. She informed me there would be at least a 30 minute wait, but I could go find a seat at the bar. Not ideal since I don't often drink, but it was a time saver, so I opted for that. It turned out to be great! I chose a seat closest to the Pizza Bar. Best decision ever! I was able to see and hear when the new pizzas were being set out. One of the best things about this pizza buffet was that they will prepare pizzas upon request. Be sure to ask nicely! They made sure there were different flavors of pizzas, so everyone would eventually get what they liked. There were 8 pizzas out on the buffet line! Yes, I overate! I must say that their pizzas are delicious! Every slice I picked up was hot, fresh, and there was a nice variety set out. I really liked the Jalapeño Popper one! The crust is excellent, too. They suggest putting some Honey on it or dipping it into some Beer Cheese Soup. Included in the buffet are the salad bar and the aforementioned Beer Cheese Soup. I appreciated that they use FlatIron Pepper Co. Pepper Flakes. I use them at home. They are a little bit spicier than the traditional Crushed Red Pepper Flakes. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was having everyone reuse the same pizza plate over and over again. I saw people touching the bottom of the spatula to their plates while sliding the slice of pizza onto the plate. It wouldn't be an issue if you got a new plate every time. This restaurant was advertised in the 2024 Golden Tourism Magazine. It's touted as Yelp Top 100 Pizzerias in the USA and Voted Golden's Best Pizza & Wings, both for 2023. If you're ever in the area, stop in for some pizza, whether for the buffet or a la carte! I look forward to my next trip out that way so I can enjoy some more of their pizzas!

Prior my son & his wife experienced @ 1 hour wait once you check in person We came in on a Wed evening @5:45 & we got seated immediately. It's for my prebirthday celebration Scotty serviced out table, he got the baby a high chair. It was happy hour, we got happy. IPA are both local & around the Golden area. The All You Can Eat is the best option. Fresh salad bar, beer cheese soup with potatoes & a variety of sprinkles. All you can eat pizza was available fresh outta wood fired oven. Great toppings, fresh produce & crust was just right. You also order your own, it's more expensive bc it's not part of the buffet.The dining area was constantly cleaned & as was the restroom. It was a nice small town just 1/2 hour outside Denver. Scenic mountains views, nice old community town feel. Progress & growth will eventually make it deminish. All in all, good price, quality, service & definitely coming back! Thank Woody's Staff, Scotty our table server.

We had an excellent family dinner here last weekend. Our server, Matthew S really made the experience. He was super nice not only to us but the other tables we started with an order of chicken wings and they were phenomenal. My husband said they were like practically drumsticks then we shared a chicken barbecue pizza and it was delicious And the leftovers definitely reheat a cold pizza kind of person but this pizza is better warmed up definitely back in the future and check out the pizza bar because it looked really good. We just wanted leftovers and wings.

Woody's was recommended to me by a childhood buddy and it did not disappoint! We ordered the golden backpack pizza, basically a supreme pizza any where else and it was delicious! They also offer an AYCE buffet that includes pizza, their beer cheese soup (which I had 2 bowls of!) and their salad bar for $16.99! My party wasn't THAT hungry, but next time I'm in Golden, I'll be prepared! Come hungry and leave happy!

Pretty average pizza. I've had better, I've had worse. I was expecting a bit more - but crust was decent.

Been here a couple of times, great food and fantastic service. Great delivery service too when you just want to stay home. Keep it up everyone.

We stopped into this place while touring around golden. Loved the atmosphere and the decor! Our waitress was super friendly and helped us with all our questions! We all got pizza since that seems to be what they are known for but we started with garlic knots! They were delish!!! While I loved the fig and goat cheese pizza, others at my table were not wowed. The comments about the margarita pizza and bbq chicken were that they were bland. I tasted the margarita pizza and agree, it was a little boring. The crust we all agreed was tasty!

Great salad and pizza. Service is good. Ambiance is good. Worthwhile. A great place to take a short ride to for a pleasant lunch.

Great family pizza joint in the heart of downtown Golden! 4.0 - Pizza: very good - note that the buffet has sparse (& slow) options, but is worth waiting out. I liked adding jalapeños & olives from the salad bar. 4.5 - Atmosphere - traditional pizza joint w/ lots of TVs 4.0 - Service 4.5 - Drinks: draft craft beer, wine 5.0 - Beercheese Soup (salad bar) 5.0 - Strawberry Lemonade

This was our first time to Woody's and arrived around 4:30-4:45 on a Thursday afternoon. It was crowded, which surprised us but we took as a very good sign. We were seated immediately near the salad bar area. Our server, Hailey, immediately greeted us and took our order. She was fantastic throughout our meal. We shared the gluten free garlic knots and a gf pizza. Both were really tasty! I wish the knots had been cooked maybe 20 seconds less (just the tiniest bit overcooked for me) but was not enough of an issue to ask for them to be redone. Still really awesome to be able to have some yummy gf bread! The ambiance was boisterous and a bit loud but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There are lots of TVs around with sports on but no sound on or anything. People were definitely loving the buffet options (salad/soup and pizza). If I had it to do over, I'd want to be farther away from the salad bar because people kinda crowded us as they were waiting their turn.

Maddie our server very PROFESSIONAL and EFFICIENT from the moment we entered the restaurant. My Party of three had the buffet and enjoyed all the pizzas. I went here on a late Sunday because my boyfriend and I were hungry and stopped at the first place we saw open and we were so surprised about the amount of people there! They sat us down and the service was very nice and welcoming. The setting was also very cozy and comforting! My boyfriend got the jalapeño cream cheese burger (or something like that) and we both LOVED it and couldn't get enough. EDIT : I forgot I took pictures but now that I found them! :

This place is widely renowned and is always hopping with customers. Their salad bar has an insane amount of variety, and holy cow, their beer cheese soup is amazing. Was tempted to give it 5 for the soup alone, but the pizza didn't really stand out to be anything special. The staff does a great job of keeping everything stocked and fresh, major props for the customer service. Lively and fun atmosphere. Was a fun experience and I'd be interested to try the pizza a la carte as I think that'd push it over to 5. Will be back!

During a recent January trip to Golden, on a very cold Saturday evening, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting Woody's for dinner! We had never been here before, yet reading the many positive reviews made us curious, so we gave it a try and we were quite glad we did! We chose to try there all you can eat buffet - I believe it is ~ $16 per person - and it was great! You receive unlimited trips to the salad bar, soup, and pizza bar. The salad bar was very fresh and fantastically stocked. So many choices for toppings and dressings, it could be a dinner on its own. The beer cheese soup was also delicious - warm and rich on a cold night with great flavour. And the pizza bar - I had no idea that we'd have no less than perhaps 10 pizzas to choose from, all hot and fresh and constantly being replaced as needed. To top it off, they would take requests if something you wanted was missing. All was delicious! The crust was also delicious, especially if you topped it with some honey that was on the table! We enjoyed and would definitely return!!!

I understand the hype now. When I told several different friends that I'd be hiking in Golden, each and every one of them made sure to tell me Woody's is the spot for my post-sweat carb-fest. There were no other recommendations. To begin, the buffet is delightful - a salad bar, soup options, and every pizza combo from carnivorous to vegetarian? I definitely went overboard because each time a fresh pizza came out, I wanted to try a slice. My vegetarian friend was worried there wouldn't be options for her, but there was always a fresh pizza with a unique combo of veg fresh out of the oven. Service was super friendly and they were good about refilling waters and checking up on us as we scarfed down slice after slice. I especially love the outdoor seating on warm days. I can't wait to circle back here on my next Golden outing!

I'm going to start with service: it was exceptional. I mean, seriously. We had some of the best customer service I have ever had in a restaurant, and this while they were swamped with customers. When we showed up, we were greeted by the host outside who indicated we were looking at a 30-40 minute wait for a table. We didn't have that amount of time. He radioed in to see if there were spots at the bar, and there were! So in we went and sat we did! The bartender greeted us with a smile and menus. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, on his recommendation, while we waited for our California Dream and Mo's Popper pizzas. I wasn't so sure about fried pickles (it sounded pretty weird to me), but he was totally spot on: they were delicious! Also delicious were the two pizzas. My girlfriend and I even fought over pieces from each other's pizzas. I'm not sure which one was the better one; I kind of wanted both of them! A refreshing Kölsch accompanied our pizzas, which was really good on the warm summer day. A point to note about Woody's: the bartender mentioned that much of the staff has been working for Woody's for 5+ years. That's highly unusual for a food service place, especially one that is obviously as routinely busy as Woody's. I suspect the owner Jonathan will respond to my post as he does most of the others. It's obvious to me that the care he takes with his customers, even on something as out of sight as a review, shows why our whole experience was so good. His attitude must rub off on the staff, who treated us warmly and promptly the whole time. I can tell the staff like their jobs. Thanks, Jonathan, for owning and running such a fine establishment. The next time we're at Red Rock, or anywhere else nearby, we'll most certainly be back!!

It has been years since we were here. Finally had both our college kids home for break and we wanted to have a family evening out. We made a good decision. They were hopping due to it being Friday night. We were given an estimate of 15-20 and would get a text when our table was ready. We headed to their warmed porch to wait. In no time our table was ready. Our server, Steve, snagged us our drinks. We didn't need to look at the menus because we all wanted the pizza and salad buffet. We went for our vegetables first and all got salad. Three of us also got a cup of their wonderful beer cheese soup. When you have a soup this good you don't need to make any other. It did not disappoint. Next up was pizza. The guys slinging pizza were working hard. There was a nice variety of pies available. There was an option to ask for a specific pizza and they would make it but there were plenty of choices for us. Steve checked on us regularly and made sure we were hydrated. Each table had the usual parm and chili flakes but they also had honey. Such a Colorado thing. Local honey to put on the crust. Delicious. This kicked off our winter break with our kids and made for a fun family evening.

I have been here a few times but this last week was my first time in probably a decade. I forgot how great this place was. The pizza, salad, soup bar is where it is at first of all. All you can eat slices of delicious pizza, build your own salad bar and bowls and bowls of creamy beer cheese soup that will make you drool. It is so much food and totally worth the cost. This is also a great place to watch a football game. They had a ton of TVs on watching Sunday NFL games with really no bad seat in the house. Our service was awesome too. I cannot remember his name but he was always checking to make sure we didn't need a clean plate or more tea. He was awesome! I need to remember to get back to this place more often. Such a great fun environment.

I placed a delivery order tonight for one of my favorite dish (chicken tenders). As always, it was delicious and arrived hot. I prefer ordering delivery since the restaurant is usually packed.

As I stepped out onto the balcony of my room overlooking Washington Ave from the Table Mountain Inn, I was immediately drawn in by the savory smell from a nearby wood fired oven. Lo and behold, across the street was Woody's and there was a nice sized crowd milling around outside. Since I can never refuse the opportunity to try any wood fired pizza, Woody's was going to be my first meal in the state of Colorado! It was a Saturday evening so Woody's was really busy and the wait time for a table was nearly an hour long. Since we were just across the street, I inquired about the time for a take out order and it was about 20-25 mins. It turns out Woody's has a special area in the parking lot towards the back of their building where they serve the take out customers. There were also tables and plenty of seating in the take out area and we were the only ones sitting and waiting for our food. When we were there, no one was having a meal so we asked the cashier if it was okay to eat our takeout meal there and it was not a problem. I'm glad for that that because the weather was perfect for having a meal outside. Anyway, before walking across the street to Woody's I looked up their menu online and they had so many delicious sounding options available, but if a wood fired pizza place has bbq chicken pizza on the menu, I'm going to have to go with that and they had a Honey BBQ Chicken and Bacon pizza so no questions about what to get. Since I hadn't eaten anything since 7am, I was really hungry so I decided to let the wife chose another pizza and we would share both "individual sized" pizzas. The wife chose their California Dream which had sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, spinach, roasted garlic, feta and mozzarella. I also added an order of Green Chili Cheese Fries as an appetizer to boot! Before I get started talking about the food, let me just say the guys working the take out section were friendly and provided great customer service. When I got my food, I asked for a couple cups of water and one of the guys brought them out to us. I was just expecting to make another trip to the take out window so that was very cool of them to go above and beyond. Now to the food. The food was so delicious! I definitely loved their Honey BBQ chicken and bacon pizza and the wonderful salty, sweet and savory blend. Plus, the texture of the crust was perfect! Firm on the bottom but chewy on the end crust with great flavor from being cooked in a wood fired oven. My wife enjoyed the California Dream and I liked it too but the bbq chicken pizza was still my favorite. However, let's not forget the Green Chile Cheese Fries. I was totally blown away! I'm thinking if we had not ordered take out, they would have poured the green chile pork chili over the fries and served it but since we had ordered take out, the chili was in a separate cup that we would pour over the fries on our own. It turns out that was perfect because we just ended up dipping the fries into the chili and didn't have to worry about the fries getting soggy. I even dipped my pizza crust into the chili. That chili was so delicious! Our friend we were coming to visiting was telling us that green chile chili is a big deal over in Colorado and I can see why. Now that I'm back in Los Angeles, I'm really missing their delicious food and would like to try other pizzas on the menu. I actually wanted to have another meal there before we had to return to L.A. but we didn't have opportunity with all the activities lined up. One thing is for sure, next time we're in the Denver area I'm going to make a bee line to this place!

We stopped by Woody's after walking in the area and are so glad we did! Despite it being busy, we were given a table immediately. Service was fast and friendly. The hubs got the buffet, I ordered chicken wings and a side of fries, and the kids split a pizza. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had, if not the best. The fries? Oh, man. Be careful if you order a large side because the portion was huge! Everyone has a great time and we will definitely come back again! Thanks for an enjoyable meal.

Incredible service. My sister and I came on a Sunday at 3pm and waited around 15 mins before being seated. The host was incredible kind. Even during an off hour they were bustling w activity. We ordered a large pizza split: California dream and white rooster pie with ranch. The food came out pretty quick and it was delicious. Our server was extremely attentive and checked in on us throughout our meal. I understand the hype. If you are in Golden, regardless of the wait this place is a must try!

We had salad bar & pizza and loved our food. Its casual family ambiance and service was friendly and attentive. The prosciutto and balsamic pizza was a favorite and I also enjoyed the chicken barbecue.

Great service and yummy tasting pizza! Came during evening hours so there was a wait but it did move quickly. There was lots of seating and in the hallway to the bathroom you can see all the accolades and awards given to this awesome restaurant. We ordered the Honey Bacon Chicken and Fig with Goat Cheese Pizzas which were both delicious. The crust had a great crunch but is soft and warm at the same time. Definitely, will be back to try all the other pizzas when in town!

My sister asked me what I wanted for my birthday dinner and I told her that I had been wanting to try Woody's wood fire pizza and I'm so glad we did! From the service to the food and ambiance it was just a perfect birthday! Ms Laini K was an amazing server made sure we always had want we wanted, I didn't like my first drink so she made sure that I got another drink that I liked! Ms Laini K was the absolute best server I've had since moving to Colorado! Thank you! I have a broken leg so my sister and brother in law got a variety of pizza for me to try since it was my 1st time there and I would have to say the the barbecue pizza and the Canadian bacon and pineapple were my favorites but my absolute favorite thing that I tried was the beer cheese soup! I couldn't be more happy with my decision to try this place! Way to go on both the quality of food and service, we will be back!

The food here was fantastic! We came for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised by all the gluten free options! Especially when mg husband has celiac disease! Soooo many options! The service was amazing and the salad was at was great too!!!! Will definitely be returning!

I grew up in Golden and it is known that Woodys has always been a staple of Golden. We used to come to here in high school and order the salad, soup, and pizza buffet. It was a great deal back then at around $10/person, now prices have gone up and it costs $15/person. For old times sake we came in for a weekday dinner. There was a 15 minute wait, but that was bearable. Once we were seated we were basically up and at the buffet. The food was tasty as we remembered and they still have the honey to go with the crust! Typically, one may not eat more than 3 pieces after visiting the soup/salad bar (unless you're super hungry). This said I'd say just order your own pizza v. The buffet, for the same price you can bring your leftovers home! All that aside, this place is still great and we will be back!

After talking to the owner about my previous bad experience i have decided the dozens of good ones more than warrant a 5 star review. this place has the best pizza on colorado in my opinion. there ambience and trivia nights are also fantastic, if your in the area definitely stop by!

Let's put it this way, if there was an option to give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. Amazing pizza, great selection of beers and let's not forget the wings and Beer cheese soup. Yes you heard correctly -Beer cheese soup- Must try. MUST!!!

I just can't get enough of this place. This is our go to spot when we get visitors or if friends want to get pizza. The buffet option is amazing, too! The pizza keeps coming and you always get a fresh slice. I love trying all the different kinds. Service is always friendly. Going during dinner rush on the weekend can sometimes be tough as there is often a wait. But they have a great notification method--you can check your wait position (and how long you've waited) so one can easily walk around town and aim to come back when closer to getting seated. One of the best parts...for my 5 year old, at least...is the popcorn machine. Makes movie theater style buttery popcorn that my kiddo ALWAYS eats more of than pizza. :)

Huge variety of high quality and huge salad bar with amazing beer cheese soup! Bar type environment but not shady. Friendly staff and large variety of pizza's. The place gets busy if you catch it right at noon or around dinner time.

Hubby and I were in Golden and stopped at Woody's... we used to haunt the one in FOCO years ago. We were promptly greeted and quoted a 5-15 minute wait. We waited less than 5. The ambiance is familiar and inviting. We got the pizza and salad bar. The beer cheese soup is definitely something to write here about. The salad bar was on point and the pizza selection varied and fresh. The entire staff was pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Nostalgia renewed!

What a cutie little place! I think this place is a good restaurant for any group. The many menu options gives customers the perfect meal. My party got the BBQ Piggy Sticks and they were extremely juicy. The chicken tenders and fries were piping hot and had a good breading ratio. Then the pizza buffet is the biggest attraction. 17 dollars for unlimited salad bar, beer cheese soup, and pizza buffet. So many good choices for pizza and extremely friendly staff making them. They always bring a smile to my face! The sweet BBQ chicken pizza is a personal favorite!

This place has it ALL: Wings, Cheese Curds, Garlic Knots, Smothered Fries, Cauliflower Wings, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Sandwiches, Fish n' Chips, Chicken Fingers, Loaded Salads, Burgers, Impossible Burgers, Beers, Cokes, Cocktails and FAMOUS PIZZA! There's even GF Pizza available. With endless options and remarkably patient customer service, this is a great spot to take a big group! Everyone can order their own thing, or you can all do the pizza, soup and salad buffet for $16. We ended up splitting the The Underboss Pizza - an absolutely delicious combo pizza! It had a spicy homemade red sauce that complimented the Italian meats, banana peppers and mozzarella on top. After my first bite, I was impressed. Then, I noticed there was Colorado Honey on the table... a lil' drizzle of that just took the slice to a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL and showed my taste buds who was boss of the table. ;D My favorite part about Woody's was its atmosphere, though. It's nothing special but for a 90s kid, it gave me a ton of nostalgia to be back in a pizzeria that had no frills, just the basics. It is 100% clear to me why they are considered one of the best pizzerias in Colorado and on Yelp! A must-go if in Golden, CO.

WOW FACTOR? Yes, so many pizza choices on the buffet HAVE AGAIN: Fun place with the buffet. Tried 7 different pizzas but none were great - just adequate. Salad bar was also adequate. A small ham, pineapple cheese pizza cost more than the buffet! OK service

Woody's has been our go-to place for pizza for years! Ordering online is super easy and the pick-up is convenient. Best pizza around!

We got our pizza to go, but waited inside the restaurant at the bar. The inside is about what you'd expect for a bar. The bartender was very friendly. Service was also fast. We walked in and ordered 3 large pizzas which were ready in about 20 minutes. We ordered cheese and pepperoni pizzas. Both were delicious! The pepperoni pizza had fresh cracked pepper on it adding extra flavor and some spice. My party was split on the crust consistency. While I enjoyed the fluffiness of it, some people wished it had a thinner crust. I do wish the crust had more flavor. It seemed kind of bland especially since there was a very nice garlic aroma with the pizza. This is definitely the place to grab pizza though while you're in Denver!

We were visiting Golden and this was a quick pick up order. The people were very friendly. The atmosphere was great -- charming inside and out. The food was wonderful. The garlic knots were different than any I'd ever had. They seemed to be fried, but not at all greasy, light & flavorful and the sauce was amazing. The portion was huge. A meal for 2 in itself. The pizza was excellent and the kids loved it. Definitely a gem of a find.

Great local place in the middle of downtown Golden for beers, wood fired pizzas, and sandwiches! For the pizzas, you can purchase an individual pizza, a large pizza, or opt for the all you can eat and try all the possible varieties. The all you can eat option also comes with soup and salad. The all you can eat option is definitely worth it, especially since an individual sized pizza is priced fairly similar to the all you can eat option. I also enjoyed the French Dip, which is made with a Philly-Style Ribeye. This is one of the items that has been on the menu for over 20 years! I'll definitely have to come back next time to try their bloody Marys.

I recommend going and doing the all you can eat pizza. The pizza is really good and it comes with a salad bar and popcorn. You can always request different pizzas that they will put up for you at the buffet. All you do is ask for a specific pizza and they will call it on the intercom when it's ready. If you love dipping pizza in ranch you can grab ranch at the salad bar. The service is always great and efficient and the ambiance is perfect for a pizza restaurant in my opinion. The location is also great for walking around Golden.
