Dear Store Manager and Team at Woolworths Hobart CBD,
I would like to commend both your well-stocked store and your excellent staff, and to offer special praise for your service desk and checkout assistant, Iti Has.
After I accidentally left my magnifier at the checkout, I phoned the store but it had not yet been handed in, and I did not leave my contact details. When I returned to search for it, Iti had already found the magnifier. She then reviewed recent calls and thoughtfully rang the number closest to the time of my enquiry, saying, “I might have the wrong number, but I’m calling about a customer who lost a magnifier.”
I was deeply impressed by her care, initiative, and determination to reunite me with my lost magnifier. Iti demonstrated excellent judgment, proactive problem-solving, and genuine customer care —qualities that reflect very positively on your store.
I also shared my appreciation with her supervisor, Dilip, and asked that my thanks be passed on to both Iti and the store manager.
Please recognise Iti for her outstanding service; she is clearly a young woman with exceptional decision-making skills and a bright future.
