Woolworths Otorohanga

No complaints as far as supermarkets go, especially since there was construction going on at the time. Good service and we found the items we were looking for (and some more!).

Woolworths Otorohanga been my local supermarket for 20 years and during this time had some interesting times. Been reading others reviews and it's very interesting reading. This store is small which others reviews had mentioned. As for products it does not stock all products as others store would have. I sometimes have to travel out of town to others woolworths stores to get actual product. The Bakery department is a joke the shelves always empty I don't think this store have a permanently instore baker. Checkouts has now got self checkouts. Some checkouts operators are ok some of them can be friendly and some not so friendly and they don't often talk to me. I seen this store get extremely busy with only 2 check out operating and when it not busy all checkouts are operating. This store does have self lockers where you pick up your online orders, there is options to pick up your order instore which I have done in the past and sometime checkout operator have to leave their check out post and head back to store to get our orders so recommend if you placing an online order use self lockers located outside of store and you can't miss it. Woolworths take note, if I was a store manager or store owner I would push the back wall (cleaning aisle) out few meters to make the store bit bigger and from where fire exits to check out would install windows to make store bit brighter.

Woolworths Otorohanga is great for all your grocery needs, shopping and food supplies. Unfortunately Woolworths Otorohanga regularly post mislabeled prices, unbeknown to the customer. This week yet again I purchased a watermelon on special for $5 each, but was charged $8.90 at the checkout. I showed the overcharging to the cashier who brought it to the attention of the supervisor. “The sale price is clearly incorrect, shall I remove the sign and take it down?” the cashier inquired as I quietly watched. “No, leave it up there for a while” the manager replied to my disbelief. Clearly Woolworths Otorohanga know they are misleading their patrons, however to be fair, I was given a full refund.

Great selection of food. Close to waitomo so handy if you're staying there for a weekend

Shop is great 👍. Service is awesome. Would be better when they finish with the make over outside, it's taking too long.

Has a good range of products and the staff were friendly. Open until late.

Small but well organised and good customer service.
