such a cozy atmosphere. it’s great to support an independent bookstore especially one with such a wide collection of books to choose from! it’s comfortable to sit and read plus the set up is so unique i recommend everyone visit especially in the summer months. staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and patient, sometimes they will have someone on the roof of the boat playing live guitar too which is awesome

Really cosy shop with good music and seats for some comfortable browsing! They had lots of gorgeous classics and a small selection of secondhand books at discounted prices. The shopkeeper was helpful and friendly, and I had a really nice time there :) Would love to drop by again! (The fireplace is real by the way.)

Beautiful, cozy bookstore in Regent's Canal! They have some stunning classic editions, children's books, and also sold second hand books. Quite a bit of seating inside the boat as well perfect for reading

the boat is stocked with all the classics and plenty of new stuff too. there was surprisingly a lot of seating inside to hangout and read. there’s plenty of newer books too. cute dogs and cats seem to be regular hangout inside and outside. the music playing outside was great. blues was on when i was there. overall, a must see place for book lovers. thanks!

What a great little book barge. Not too crazy busy so able to move about to look. So different to any bookshop I've been to. Near great area called Granary square, grab a coffee

Going to the bookshop was an absolute pleasure!! You would’ve seen the size of smile on my face when I first noticed it. As a self proclaimed bookworm I can say that the visit is absolutely worth it. They had a wide selection of books despite the limited space, an amazing playlist to set the mood up and even a little reading nook in the boat itself🤩. If you can, definitely try to go past it!

This has got to be one of the coolest bookstores I’ve visited in the world. Its cozy, welcoming, the typewriter vibes are awesome, the selection of books truly impressive especially considering the store is in a boat, and they have the loveliest little mascot hanging out by the fire! They also stock a lot of beautiful, unique editions of books. Fantastic selection of classics and recent releases. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a must-see place for bookworms in London!

I love word on the water!! Every time I come to London, I make sure to stop by. They have a really great selection of books for all ages and interests and they now also have very cute tote bags (featured in the first pic; the back side is even prettier). Another plus is the cute black cat hanging out on the boat!
