What a fantastic museum! Not very big but packed with lots to see, including taxidermy amphibians & reptiles, birds, mammals, gems, minerals, petrified wood, and more from around the world! A must see if you're a nature lover. Free entry and parking. To get to the museum, make sure you enter through the main entrance into the campus. Enjoy!

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Family-Friendly Experience at the World Museum of Natural History!** My family and I had an absolutely fantastic time at the **World Museum of Natural History**! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the incredible exhibits, interactive displays, and engaging activities perfect for all ages. **Why We Loved It:** - **Kid-Friendly & Educational:** The dinosaur exhibits were a huge hit with my children—they loved the life-sized skeletons and interactive fossil digs! The museum does an amazing job making science fun and accessible. - **Stunning Displays:** The gemstone collection, wildlife dioramas, and planetarium show were breathtaking. Even my teenager, who’s usually hard to impress, was fascinated! - **Hands-On Activities:** The touch-and-learn stations kept our little ones entertained while teaching them about nature in a fun way. - **Clean & Well-Organized:** The museum was spacious, easy to navigate, and had plenty of seating and rest areas—a big plus for families with young kids. - **Affordable & Worth It:** The ticket prices were reasonable, especially considering how much there was to see. We easily spent a full day exploring! This museum is a **must-visit for families**—whether you're locals or tourists. We left feeling inspired, educated, and already planning our next trip back. **10/10 recommend!** **Tip:** If visiting with kids, check the schedule for special family-friendly events or guided tours—they made our experience even better! **#FamilyFun #MustVisit #NaturalHistory #KidsLoveIt**

The World Museum of Natural History contains outstanding systematic displays of amphibians, birds, mammals and reptiles. Specimens prepared by sculpture and freeze-dry taxidermy are displayed in a lifelike manner. Also on display is one of the world's largest and finest collections of mineral spheres. Rounding out the displays are gems and minerals, fluorescent minerals, meteorites and tektites, petrified wood, shells, American Indian artifacts, and contemplative stones (Suiseki).

This is a lovely oasis of calm, where one can contemplate God’s creation and the beauty of nature. It may be small compared to Natural History museums in big cities, but it is powerful in its message. Having loved science my whole life, I can sense the respect and reverence put into this museum and its exhibits. This is the perfect place to bring your children or grandchildren. The taxidermy alone is incredible and the specimens come from all over the world. My favorite exhibit was the mineral spheres. These were not mass produced for gift shops. These were lovingly, meticulously, and individually made by one man, as a hobby he enjoyed. My husband, daughter, and I really enjoyed our afternoon here. Go see it!

Google
Warning: It has only 5 animal models and a tiny stand for rocks.. thats it. The taxidermied animals were pretty cool.. but the only other things there were a stand for cool looking rocks, a white polar bear figure and a komodo dragon figure. I would call this more of a hallway of natural history. Anyways the staff was pretty nice. I only recomend going if REALLY have nothing to do.

This is a perfect place to go with kids. So many animal specimens and minerals. It’s totally indoor with ac, so perfect choice during hot days. The staff is super nice. We met Alejandrina, she is beautiful, enthusiastic and patient!!! We plan to go next Saturday again! Oh, and it’s free!

Google
Small but packed with interesting specimens of preserved animals, rocks and minerals, fossils, and a few native peoples' objects. Don't miss the fluorescent mineral display in the back corner. Open only on Saturday from 2-5 pm. Access campus through front entrance gate. Guard at gate can provide campus map and directions.

Yelp
It was a bit hard to get to (and only open on Saturdays, from 2-5 PM). However, once I realized that I could get on campus through the South entrance, the walk to the museum was nice and peaceful. There are a variety of displays, which I believe are well organized. I only wish my photos of the florescent minerals came out better!

Yelp
If you live in Corona take your kids you can explore a local museum all within an hour. 15 min drive to la sierra university, museum for 30-35 min. head home 15 min drive No lines, no cost of admission, and a wide variety of birds, mammals, reptiles displayed, i really liked the Komodo dragon. I finally remembered on a Saturday and took my sons (6, 3, and 1) to the museum. We live in Corona /borderline Riverside so it's local to us. Great way to inspire your kids about attending a university by allowing them to explore a wonderful campus filled with trees. Awe also enjoyed the Art building very cool how everything ties in together. Staff is knowledgeable and welcoming.

Yelp
Small building. Very small hole in the wall. We would come here often as a child. Now as an adult I can appreciate it. Large variety of taxidermy animals from around the world. And a large variety of minerals.

Yelp
This an amazing hidden gem! It was hard to figure out which gate was open but other that, it was a great experience. All the different animals and rocks kept the kids engaged for at least a couple hours! Highly recommend!

Yelp
For a small sized museum, it has an interesting collection of alligators, snakes, turtles, birds, big cats, desert animals, primares, and in the lobby, a huge komodo dragon, two baby elephants, a bison, a bear, and a wolverine. The other half of the museum are gems, rocks, and petrified wood and insects. Four stars because of free parking on Saturday, small enough to go though with the 3 hours of operation (Sat 2pm to 5pm), and it's free to go in. It may not be the greatest or biggest natural history museum, but for its size and running off of donations, it's good enough for a 30 mins to 1 hour of browsing and reading. Plus, the Komodo dragon is really huge.

Yelp
Cool animal taxidermies, gemstones and minerals! It's small but interesting to walk through. The volunteers are very helpful and informative. My son loved the giant Komodo dragon.

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite museums to visit, there are many beautiful specimens and minerals to look at. I love seeing the petrified wood in person, lovely range of colors and textures. They also have a unique Native American exhibit that displays arrowhead spears to handmade woven baskets. I love the nature films they show at the museum along with quartz crystals to take as a souvenir. There is also a big friend to greet you at the entrance of the museum, you'll have to check it out for yourself:)

Yelp
Small but packed full of amazing and interesting species of animals. Also a huge selection of rocks and minerals. With 21 out of 25 crocodilian species and the largest Komodo Dragon this is a really cool place to stop!! Also found out that the animals all died of natural causes which is amazing!! Can't wait to take the kids back!!
