12 new family-friendly attractions to visit in Asia - SilverKris

"Designed to evoke Arendelle, the Norwegian-inspired kingdom from the films, this themed land at a major Hong Kong theme park recreates the Frozen universe with immersive attractions such as a musical boat ride to an ice palace (which includes a final drop), an interactive Playhouse in the Woods set in the protagonists’ childhood hideaway, and a family rollercoaster called Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs—offering character-led entertainment and scenic, story-driven experiences." - SilverKrisandRebecca Wong

World of Frozen perfectly captures the magic of the movie—it truly feels like stepping right into Arendelle. The immersive atmosphere, from the music at the entrance to the beautifully designed surroundings, makes you feel like you’re part of the story. Characters in costume roam around performing little acts, adding extra fun to the experience. And don’t miss the souvenir shops—they’re filled with Frozen-themed merchandise you’ll definitely want to check out.

It’s a very well done area of the park and you can meet Anna and Elsa, see some live music from the movie and also Arrendelle inspired. You can also buy lots of different themed treats. But the crowds defined ruin park of the experience; the lines spill out from the ride entrances and fill the streets. There’s no rope dividers and you can only find the end of you look for the worker holding the sign. Definitely buy the expensive ticket; the wait time was 120 mins for both rides.

The frozen ride is cool and magical. A little twist on the end of the ride. What I don't like is the long line here. It will take a while to get the ride.

Nice area of the park, live music being played, a lake area, ice cream vending shop nearby and couple of good rides. Lovely vibes. Great time spent here.

What a treat! World of Frozen is incredibly well executed—truly a standout addition to Hong Kong Disneyland. The level of detail throughout the area is stunning in person; photos and videos simply don’t do it justice. Having visited every Disney resort worldwide, I can confidently say this is something truly special. Both rides are excellent, with Frozen Ever After standing out as a clear evolution of the version at EPCOT. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical about Hong Kong Disneyland after visiting the other parks, but rest assured—it’s absolutely worth the trip. We visited for three days from Northern Europe and were thoroughly impressed.

The kids really enjoyed the Frozen Ever After ride here. They also interacted with the live Elsa & Anna characters here. Try to come on weekdays for shorter queues at Disneyland. On weekdays takes arpund 40-50 minutes. On weekends may take up to 110 minutes.

AMAZING. The design is so real. I always wonder how you can make a life size something so realistic. I loved the sliding sleighs ride but it was very short with a VERY LONG line. We saw Josh Gad there as well filming an advertisement. We couldn’t have gone at a better time. The only thing I could say that should be changed is the fact that the Elsa and Anna looked pretty old for the character they should be playing

World of Frozen: A Magical Winter Wonderland ★★★☆☆ World of Frozen is a beautiful and immersive themed land that brings the magic of Arendelle to life. The attention to detail is incredible, from the stunning architecture to the wintry atmosphere. While the land is relatively new, it has already become a popular destination, especially for fans of the Frozen franchise. The crowds can be overwhelming at times, particularly around the main attraction. Despite the crowds, World of Frozen is a magical experience that's worth exploring. Be sure to arrive early or stay late to avoid the busiest times. If you're a fan of Frozen, you won't want to miss this enchanting land. Just be prepared for crowds and potential wait times.
