If you are Volvo Fan then it's heaven for you. Each aspect is covered in this building related to Volvo including the Very first Volvo, self experience of construction vehicles, Volvo safety and future models. You can have lunch on 2nd floor and souvenir shop is also on the same level. It is recommended to buy online ticket and it will give you some discount. Free lockers are available at ground floor to keep jackets in them.

Nice museum experience, very interractif with a lot of technology and games. Particularly interesting for children and trend, but still enjoyable for adults. You can also learn things about the different cars. The general architecture of the bâtiment is also nice. The visit is around two hours.

World of Volvo is such a nice and well-designed experience center! The exhibition is interactive and fun — you can try different things related to driving, balance and design, or just explore and observe. Everything is very modern, well-organized and visually impressive. Even though the visit was short, it was really enjoyable and worth it. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Gothenburg!

Wonderful exhibition for volvo history. The building is beautiful and the exhibit is very well designed. It has a fun mix of interactive components and classic museum displays. There were plenty of volvo car models on display to make it interesting and well done video displays throughout. We spent almost two hours seeing it all.

Bery beautiful building. Lots of car/buses/engine proplsed vehicled on display. It starts a bit different, with emotions being described in a creative way. Would be a nice place for children as well as it is very interactive.

Beautiful building, beautiful content. It’s a must. It’s an absolutely amazing experience. It’s geared to all ages, things to see and do. One of my favourite things about the museum is how the exhibits are very inviting and you can interact with quite a lot of exhibit pieces. There is a huge range of cars spanning the years decades and you can get up close and very personal with all the equipment they also have a bus slamming on the brakes hard simulator which is very weird.

Was shocked at how great this experience was. I’m not a huge car person, but love Sweden, so it was cool to see how this iconic Swedish company has evolved through the years. The exhibition was interactive, informative, and innovative. The lunch buffet was so good and reasonably priced. We even got to test drive a Volvo. Super impressed with this experience!

I’ve always been a fan of the Volvo brand, so I was excited to visit and see what they had prepared for the public. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The entrance fee of 200 kr is reasonable, and the building itself is stunning — it even reminds me of the Apple headquarters with its impressive wooden design. But once inside, the museum feels like a colossal waste of space: a massive building with so little to actually see. There are just a few concept cars and a handful of other models, with minimal descriptions and hardly any audiovisuals. Oddly, there are also activities for children that feel entirely unrelated to Volvo. Where are the iconic cars? The detailed descriptions of patents and research? The cutaway engines with proper engineering explanations? This is what one would expect from a brand with such a rich history. In the end, it felt like a waste of time, money, and space. A real shame, Volvo. The best part of the visit was the café, which is excellent — but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the disappointment. (Our group of 10 people all came to the same conclusion.)
