Worth House

My better half booked this one!! But a great find. Conveniently located from central Cambridge, close enough to walk into and on a main bus route so a car not really needed. We were in town for a graduation and found Worth House to fulfill all our requirements. Now the host, Guido, simply put welcoming! Accommodating and helpful and friendly, definitely made our stay memorable. Maria’s breakfast were delicious…. Room was spotless, proper sized mugs provided so you could enjoy a proper cup of tea!! Rooms were turned over with clean bath towels provided each day which I found really welcome. All in all an excellent choice for a short stay close to a fantastic city! Highly recommended

This hotel is excellent. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The level of detail is amazing. For example there was a pair of scissors in every room - useful for removing labels etc as well as numerous and various USB charging sockets.|Guido was extremely hospitable and helpful - nothing was too much problem. Breakfast was made to order and was more or less anything that you want.|We booked direct and it was really good value.

We picked this hotel as it had very good reviews and soon found out why. Guido and Maria were excellent, very generous hosts, very friendly, who really looked after all their guests. It was about a 15 minute walk into Cambridge, half of which was along the river. The room was lovely and contained everything we could possibly need. I was staying with a friend and we had a twin room with double and single beds. Breakfast was also lovely. |As a side note we had an amazing meal in a Hungarian restaurant which is close to the hotel on the way into the city.

What can I say? It was so lovely to experience such hospitality. Guido is a fantastic host and Maria is clearly working hard behind the scenes too. They are very dedicated to running an excellent b&b, and it shows! The styling of the rooms is lovely too, and everywhere is quiet-you can’t hear noise from the other rooms etc. A very enjoyable stay.

A very clean and comfortable B&B. Very welcoming hosts with an excellent choice for breakfast. A short stroll from the city centre. We would stay here again should we return to Cambridge.

One of the best B&B experiences I ever had in England.|Very warm and kind hosts, great food, and an immaculate room. |Craig and Maria went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I appreciated their professional eyes for details (e.g., making sure the room was always well stocked with beverages, and small scissors to cut coffee bags) and the bathroom was cleaned and restocked daily. The Worth house was my favorite lodging throughout the trip, and I will always remember fondly of my stay there!

Unfortunately we missed our first night of our two-night stay which was a shame as Worth House is a delightful place to stay. Craig and Maria are charming and chatty hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. We were made to feel valued guests and enjoyed a friendly and tasty breakfast (included in the price which isn't a guarantee with B&Bs these days!). The room was quirkily and comfortably decorated with both a fan and a heater along with plenty of storage for clothes. Charming touches were water, chocolate bars, deluxe coffee bags and luxury toiletries. The power shower was also great. We will definitely back for a stay with them in Cambridge. It was a 15 - 20 minute walk into the city centre, much of it along the River Cam.

Lovely stay at Maria and Guidos place!|Big fantastic room, clean and very soft and perfect bed! We loved our days/nights at Worth house. Service was extra ordinary! Breakfast perfect, good strong coffee!|Extra yoghurt, fruit and cakes all day around to enjoy!
