Where to Drink Wine in the Monterey County AVA - AFAR

"Led by winemaker Sabrine Rodems, this picturesque property specializes in pinot noir, chardonnay, syrah, and sauvignon blanc, with white Adirondack chairs positioned to take full advantage of sweeping vineyard views; its stellar whites are especially enjoyable on hot days, and the brand also maintains a tasting room in Carmel for broader access." - Aislyn Greene

My favorite tasting room in Carmel. Was served by 2 very knowledgeable and friendly women who were just exceptional. The wine itself was fantastic - especially if you like Pinot noirs with a burgundy style (and not a burgundy price). Fantastic experience all around, walked out with 4 bottles and will absolutely return. Thank you!!

My wife and I dropped in here on a whim. It' was outstanding. Great service and nice wines. I would gladly go back next time we're in town.

My favorite winery in Carmel! They have a large selection of wines, best known for reds and Pinot noir. I’ve been to the tasting room multiple times and the service is always friendly, they will make sure you find the right wine for you. There are a couple of food options: cheese and prosciutto.

The Syrah and unoaked Chardonnay 2020 are spectacular. Cool vibe. Great place to stop in just for a quick drink or to do a flight.

A beautiful Pinot dominate tasting room. Grab some cheese from Carmel cheese shop and have a snack while you enjoy some truly delicious wines.

Tira was an incredible tasting guide filled with knowledge of the vineyard and additional tied bits on Carmel. The Chardonnay varieties Wrath offers were uniquely complex and very delicious. Known for their Pinot varieties!

Wrath has a fantastic winemaker, Sabrine Rodems who leaves people thirsty for more excellent pinot noirs, chardonnays, syrahs and even stainless steel sauvignon blanc. A local hot spot that is worth visiting for tasting locally sourced grapes. Inspired by Led Zeppelin and not the Grapes of Wrath, the aromas will definitely punch you right on the nose. Do visit! The staff are wonderful, the cheese shop is next door(great for pairing), and the wine never stops pouring. Definitely try the tondré, The Swan, the San Saba syrah, and their latest, sauv blanc in a can! Also, wrath has membership and ships to a number of states! Great wines. It’s no wonder the locals try and keep it a secret.
