Let me start by saying that I am way too much of a diva to go camping. That said, I was dragged here by my family and had a splendid time! (shocker, I know)
We made a reservation online and it was super easy checking in. We had campsite number 3, I believe, which was hunkered in the middle of the campgrounds. This is a family owned site and I love the level of trust and community here.
The restrooms were very clean and are cleaned twice a day. Hot showers, clean water, etc. Firewood is available for purchase, the site is close walking distance to some shops and the beach too! But far enough away it's not freezing cold. I little bit of road noise, but you forget about it easily. It was very quiet at night, great picnic tables, fire pit, and tetherball available for the kids. I went with my nephew who absolutely loved it here.
We had three dogs with us, and while they are strict about a leash policy (understandably), the place is very dog-friendly and the pups had a blast. I didn't see many other campsite options around, but I would definitely come back to this location. It's a little further from the central shops, but if you're camping, you have most everything you need nearby the campgrounds.
Checkin was after 2p and checkout by noon!
