Google
probably one of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. the bathrooms, showers, and campsite was very clean and warm. Loved that they had sorted garbage/recycling bins. the rate is on the higher end compared to other campgrounds but the comfort and convenience you get from this site is worth! The campsites are quite close to each other, which makes me appreciate the no-speak and quiet time even more. Highly recommend

My family has been camping here for years, but one interaction with the owner just nuked the possibility of going back! We were packing up to leave early due to some injuries sustained at the campground and on the beach when the owner came by asking us to move the care we were packing up. Apparently, it was in the fire lane turn around, though it was the only entrance and exit to our sites, and not being used by anyone else in the campground. The owner got angry & began yelling at us to move our car, talking down to us like she was yelling at her kids! We tried to reason with her to let us finish due to our injuries, but she was cold, rude and kept yelling at us long after we had moved the car. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. As far as location goes, Hwy 101 is yards away from the campground & very noisy. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets each for men and women for 17 campsites, and are very run down and not cleaned often enough. The sink area is always wet and the stall doors can be unlocked from the outside of the stall. All in all we are done with Wrights for Camping, exercising our RIGHTS to go elsewhere!

Google
Great place to camp. There is a mix of small and large spaces. It feels wooded, although it's close to road. Walking to the beach is about 10 minutes. Heads up there is a single bathroom building. Two stalls (no urinals) on the men's side. Not sure about the ladies side. They also have self service firewood.

Google
Okay camping option. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean bathroom, I was impressed. Unfortunately the bathrooms are small, only 2 showers and stalls per gender. This was not a big deal for me, but my wife had to wait to use the bathroom multiple times during our visit. Very open camp with little privacy between camp sites. Again, I get it is just a camp, but I have been to better camps. The location is good, easy access to the highway, beach, and only a 15 minute walk into town.

Google
Always a great place to camp and very family friendly. We've been coming once a year for the last 4 years. Clean bathrooms and camp sites, wood available for purchase and walking distance to Cannon Beach less than a mile from Haystack Rock.

Google
Great facilities including hot shower. Very well maintained and managed. Lovely forest setting provides a nice break from the hot sun. Lots 9, 10, 19 will have some road noise. Would definetly book again.

Google
Really enjoyed being less than ten minutes walk to Cannon Beach! We had site 6 and it was large enough for two tents & our two cars, as well as a spot for a hammock. You can see into everyone's campsite. Ours was across from the bathhouse (which is clean and had lots of hot water!). It gets nice and quiet before quiet hours too. Check in took a bit long because there was only one attendant. Firewood available for $5, too.

Google
Sweet little Campground close to town. Super friendly owners. Everything is extremely tidy and well kept, especially the Washrooms are perfectly clean, and obviously get cleaned twice a day. Traveling all across the country, we’ve been to many Campgrounds, but we’ve never seen such a nice facility. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay, it was a pleasure!

Yelp
We booked a last minute site at this campsite when we realized we would have trouble boondocking in cannon beach. Luckily, we got a spot because they were booked up when we arrived and Gladys was ready to tell us that they were full. This is definitely a more rustic campsite. it has been family owned for decades and I have a feeling that it wasn't worth adding hookups or newer facilities to the site. However, everything was adequate and the staff could not have been nicer. Everyone at the site was very friendly and we talked with a few couples before we departed. If there is downer about this site, it's that the beach and center of town are about a 30 min walk from the site and you need to walk down a small stretch of highway onramp. It seems to be closer than any other alternatives but I do wish it had been a but closer. All in all, I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone camping in cannon beach for a night or two.

Yelp
Love this campground. Cute & small. Well kept and clean with nice camp hosts. Definitely a family oriented space. Not too far from the beach and "downtown" of Cannon Beach. Only thing I will take a star away for is they have pretty strict rules, specifically about music. If you are listening to music on a speaker, or even just an I-pad (not loud & during the day) they will tell you to turn it off & only use headphones. Even if there are few campers & even though children are running rampant and screaming at the tops of their lungs. Other than that the place is perfection.

Yelp
Stayed here for a weekend, and our trip couldn't have been any better. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and the campsites were wonderful. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled great! They were also very Covid aware and took all the necessary precautions and at no time did we ever feel unsafe. We will be returning many times in the future. This is an amazing place to spend a weekend camping. Book with full confidence.

Yelp
Lucked out to get reservations here, and it was excellent. Such a quaint little place tucked into the trees. Our little camper fit just fine. Price was good and the staff were friendly. It feels off the beaten path yet is really close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Definitely the cheapest way to spend a week on Cannon Beach! The campground is quiet, the restrooms were clean, and it is all covered pretty well by trees. There is a highway right through the trees, so expect a small amount of vehicle noise. Overall a great place.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I am way too much of a diva to go camping. That said, I was dragged here by my family and had a splendid time! (shocker, I know) We made a reservation online and it was super easy checking in. We had campsite number 3, I believe, which was hunkered in the middle of the campgrounds. This is a family owned site and I love the level of trust and community here. The restrooms were very clean and are cleaned twice a day. Hot showers, clean water, etc. Firewood is available for purchase, the site is close walking distance to some shops and the beach too! But far enough away it's not freezing cold. I little bit of road noise, but you forget about it easily. It was very quiet at night, great picnic tables, fire pit, and tetherball available for the kids. I went with my nephew who absolutely loved it here. We had three dogs with us, and while they are strict about a leash policy (understandably), the place is very dog-friendly and the pups had a blast. I didn't see many other campsite options around, but I would definitely come back to this location. It's a little further from the central shops, but if you're camping, you have most everything you need nearby the campgrounds. Checkin was after 2p and checkout by noon!

Yelp
Loved this campground! Reservation online was easy. Checking in took maybe 3 minutes and was seamless. We stayed at campsite number 9, which is nice and cozy. Not a very big site, perfect for a tent and you could park two cars here if you're a good driver. The site was clean, and even freshly raked. Bathrooms were top notch for a camp site! Firewood is easily accessible. The map makes it seem more spread out but really the sites are somewhat on top of each other. You feel like you have your own space with all of the trees and small berms separating the sites so being close was not an issue. Going to town is a 2 minute drive. Haystack rock maybe a 15 minute walk. The highway side of camp is a bit noisy but calms down as the evening gets later and later. Overall awesome place! Love the family owned aspect, very nice people.

Yelp
This is my 2nd year staying here. It's a nice family run camp ground. The bathrooms smelled awful this time and people were being gross. You'd think with COVID things would be of a higher standard, but when very old Grandma is keeping up on the cleaning you immediately feel sorry for her and wish some other family might take that job away from her and hire a cleaning crew. The campsites near the road are so loud. The road noise makes it impossible to sleep. Also, quite hours starting at 10pm leaves no time for the people doing campfires at the beach to come back and find anything in a quite manner. It's so dark even with lanterns it's horrible. Also, site 19 has roots all over. I seriously feel someone will hurt themselves. No room for sitting around the campfire with the fire pit and table and other side of fire pit on a hill. It was the worst.... If I had small kids I would have been a stress case.

Yelp
My family camped here when I was 10 or 11. I'm now 65. I'm sooo glad to know that Wrights Campground still exists. I think it must have been some sort of honeymoon for my mom and my stepdad but they brought my dour grandmother along, maybe to help with my new baby brother who would have been around 9 months. We were 4 children, 16, 14, 11, 8 and the baby. I remember being so happy and free. hMy family were farmers around Oregon City and going to the beach was superfluous to them but life changing to me. I have never forgotten the smell of the early morning "beach" air and the clarity of the sky. I thank you for then. I thank you for now.

Yelp
Small but nice clean campsites. Owners very nice and friendly. Easy access to Cannon Beach and 101. Shower and laundry too. Recommended.

Yelp
We loved our time at Wright's for camping. Although it's next to hwy 101-this is a gem of a park. There are 21 sites in all-only one I'd avoid is #4 because of its lack of privacy. We stayed in #15, decent size for our 8ft by 14ft tent. The whole park is in a towering grove of trees. The restrooms were impeccably clean. The family running it is friendly and it's a very smooth operation. If no one is in the office when you arrive, you can talk to the webcam. They are in the house on the hill and come down right away to check you in. The gal even led us to the campsite. They sell firewood for $5/bundle. They have wheelbarrows you can use to haul the wood. Where else in Cannon Beach can you stay for $40/night? The Pelican Brew Pub is now open and is close enough to walk to. There is a basketball hoop and tether ball for the kiddos. No doubt in my mind, we will be back!

Yelp
Very sweet campground. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have been ever been in at a campground. The facilities were accessible and the basketball and tetherball were a perfect addition. Even though we don't surf, the surfing stations were amazing for people to use. The ambiance was great!

Yelp
I stayed there about 7 years ago and was just now writing a review for another place that somehow made me think of this place again. I realized I never left this place a review. The site is quaint, quiet and clean. The rates are reasonable. And beyond all that, the couple that runs the place went out of their way to help me in a way that I doubt very many people would have. They are amazing! When I was hanging out at one of the local beaches one day, I lost my wallet with my credit card and money and everything. I had driven there from Idaho, very far away. I had no way to get money for gas to drive home and would have been stranded in Oregon if not for them. I went up to their house, told them my story and asked if there was any way I could borrow 80 dollars cash or so to get home. I told them I would send them money to repay them when I got home. The look in their eyes told me they did not believe they would be repaid, which I understood, sounds like a scam, but they gave me some money anyways. Once I got home I did send them money to repay them as I said I would. I was young and dumb at the time and sent cash not thinking about it. I really hope no one opened the mail and stole the cash. Awesome site and awesome people though. Thanks guys! I sure hope you received the money!

Yelp
The campground was clean for sure with nice amenities with laundry, sink for dishes and showers. I also loved the fact we could buy our wood for fires right there. The big down falls were of course highway traffic noise and the raccoons were fierce! They definitely could use some help relocating the raccoons! We couldn't even enjoy an evening around the fire because the raccoons were ready and waiting for any morsel to feast on. Our camping neighbors left food out every night and we were bothered by raccoons harassing us next to them not even being able to go to the bathroom at night.

Ian H.

Yelp
Very clean and super close to the beach and downtown markets. Ect. However, we had the last site available...#4 which has no privacy and nothing but gravel to pop a tent on. So take sites 1-3 or 5 and higher is my suggestion!!

Chuck C.

Yelp
We stayed here in our RV for one night. It's a nice little family owned and operated campground in a great location. We checked with two RV parks at the other end of town and they wouldn't even let us stay for one night. I know Cannon Beach is a "destination" but we were just passing through and wanted to spend the night. The bathrooms were clean and they have showers. They also have a "kitchen" clean up area separate from the bathrooms for doing dishes if you're tenting it. Nice place, nice people, nice location!

Yelp
a group of us drove down to cannon beach on solstice weekend. we didn't want to have to stay in a hotel, so one of my friends decided to make reservations at wright's for camping. it is car camping with amenities. you pull your car up to your camp site and put a tent up, if you want to. there are fire pits with grills. it is in a nice wooded area. it isn't very big, maybe a dozen campsites in all. we had 3 two person tents and one 3 person tent and there was still plenty of room. wright's has clean bathrooms with showers, so it isn't primitive camping at all. well, with cannon beach the town less than a mile away, there is nothing primitive about this campsite. the camping is right next to a high traffic road, so it's pretty noisy and adds to the feeling of not really camping when you are camping. the beach is walking distance, along with a liquor store and a coffee shop, gotta have your priorities. we had to be quiet after 11pm, so keep that in mind if you plan to party when you camp. wright's is an inexpensive choice when you want to hang out at cannon beach.

Yelp
My wife and I just stayed at Wright's for the fourth night of our camping honeymoon. What a lovely place! The sites are dry, no utilities, but the facilities were among the most scrupulously maintained I have ever seen at a camp site. The restrooms were a bit rough in construction (2x4 and particle board walls) but painted bright white inside, and so clean you could have eaten in there. There is even a separate kitchen wash area with coin-op laundry and a legit commercial wash sink for dishes. Our site had even been freshly raked to remove the pine cones and small branches from the gravel, and was almost perfectly level. The site has some rather cool raccoons, too, that will happily walk around and pose for photos. Wonderful little place, we will definitely stop again next time we're down this way.

Yelp
This is the sweet little campground that is well-maintained has good bathrooms and showers a great kitchen and laundry area that is only a half a mile from the center of Cannon beach.
