We recently held our annual company offsite at Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabins in West Asheville, which is either home to or close to many of my longtime favorite Asheville restaurants, galleries, coffee shops, bars, and shops. So, the location was a win before I even arrived, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as well. The cabins are modern, cozy, clean, and welcoming, offering accoutrements including record players, records, coffee makers, local books and guides, and hammocks, as well as comfy seating and bedding, clean bathrooms, and balconies with hammock hookups and a beautiful view of the French Broad river. The lodge and grounds were clean, cozy, and welcoming as well, offering a little coffee, gear, and souvenir shop with lots of solid local recommendations for everything from hikes to restaurants, two different fire pits with ample seating, and plenty of parking. The meeting space was also great and included two bathrooms, ample space, and some comfy hanging camping chairs on the balcony that I really enjoyed too. I'd definitely return here in the future.
