"A very high suspension bridge rising around 500 m above the Sidu River, its scale is such that the Petronas Towers could fit beneath it; construction was so challenging that rockets were used to lay the pilot cables, and the structure now attracts extreme-sports enthusiasts who base jump from it." - SilverKris

Wuhan has changed a lot. I just got home from Wuhan. I spent the night there. The night scenery of Wuhan Yangtze River is charming, the lights are colorful, and the waves are shining in the river water, which is extremely dazzling and beautiful. There are luxury cruise ships moving slowly on the wide river, because it wants tourists to see more beautiful lights and night scenery.

The 1957 Soviet-designed structure expands 1.8m daily from thermal movement. Night fishermen cluster near Pier 4 where catfish school in the bridge's shadow. The pedestrian walkway's original socialist realism mosaics depict idealized workers with startlingly lifelike eyes.

Take the elevator from street level to the observation area on top of the bridge pier. It only costs 2 yuan. I also walked to the observation area...about 2 kilometers. Unfortunately, I visited the bridge on a cloudy morning and couldn't stay until the sun came out.
