This is the first time for me to give restaurant review, but the food and experience I had have urged me to make some comments on it. Service here is really nice, plate presentations look good but the dishes simply not worth it. One star deducted for the price one for the flavour and one for the portion dishes are served in small (or tiny) portion and are basically overpriced. £23 for steak, its juicy and tender, but only with 3 slices of it. For the ceasar salad, no cheese, served with sesame dressing, nothing special but costs £18. Chicken costs £19 but again, only with 3 small pieces and the texture of it is really rough without much flavour. For the special menu, we ordered pasta with seafood. It is too salty, and the mussels are tasteless and not fresh. Forget about the small portion, but I do really expect better quality with such price. The dishes are just seriously overpriced and fell short of expectations.

Great breakfast/brunch. Really good quality food and amazing sevice from Maria who is Portuguese. We asked for the Eggs Benedict but replaced the ham for salmon, which they were more than happy to do. Lovely tea and beautifully presented food. Also had soup of the day which was mustard, lovely change to the usual. Would recommend a visit.

Great service and wonderful food. Reasonably priced. First time seeing a water service charge but the water tasted good so was fine. Chicken perfectly cooked. Noms!

So delighted to have found this gem in touristy Amsterdam (where good food does not exist). If you are looking for great quality comfort food in a modern chic restaurant, then this is the place. Friendly staff, awesome service and delicious food- the kind you keep going for even if you are full. Best was the LOBSTER ROLLS! Actual chunks of lobster in a buttery brioche bun. Slightly expensive but if it tastes this good, it is worth bankruptcy. Get the twin lobster rolls with a side of fries and a glass New Zealand sauvignon blanc- its bound to set all things right.

Ate here a special taste pasta! The meal were served with much love. Waiters were very kind and funny! Everthing was delicious!

A pleasant experience for both breakfast and a nightcap! The food was good, but the conversation with the waiter was a sweet, delightful experience. I highly recommend the Dutch twist on the negroni!

Inside the newly renovated Kimpton DeWitt Hotel, they have a hearty breakfast menu. Staff is very nice and seating is comfortable. Loved that the breakfast was served "a la carte".

Great service and customer service, staff very friendly food is 5 stars the only negative point was the desert for Christmas Eve dinner was expecting more from a great restaurant as Wyers.

This place is permanently closed. Sorry. That is all. Don't go here. It is gone. I'm not kidding.

This place has been remodeled/rebranded to Cecilia for quite sometime. Food is average good. Service was very great. Good spot to stop by, especially early morning when nothing opens.

Chicken with bimi (broccoli and cauliflower) was amazing. The restaurant was empty when I arrived, early as usual! This was easily one of the best meals of my entire time in Amsterdam. I should have returned but too much to see and too many areas to explore. They're attached to a hotel but don't let that keep you away from trying this amazing place. The gluten free bread was wonderful as was the gravy served over the chicken. The ambiance is quite lovely and upscale. Great for a date night or for a fun night out or a business meeting. If I lived here I'd return weekly it was that good. The staff were super helpful as well and make great recommendations on good wine bars for me to explore in other areas. Great meal, wonderful service and a beautiful restaurant! Highly recommend it.

I came here with a group of about seven people for brunch. They have an excellent brunch,bottomless at that,and everything about this restaurant was amazing. We made reservations and were seated immediately as soon as we sat down. The service here is amazing,our waiter was quick and attentive,and were helped if we had any questions or issues. I had the chicken & waffles and it was extraordinary. The waffles were good and the chicken was spicy and flavorful. The bottomless is until 2:30pm and our waiter kept them flowing the whole time. The OJ for the mimosas seemed freshly squeezed and since it was so many of use they keep giving us pitchers of mimosas and bottles of champagne. I also had tried the bloody Mary's and it probably was one of the if not the best Bloody Mary I ever had.

I highly recommend this place for drinks/brunch! Staying at Kimpton for holiday and discovered Wyers. Maria Teresa was our server both at lunch one Saturday and then for Sunday brunch. She was absolutely fantastic! We got the bottomless mimosas, chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict and coffee. Our glasses were never empty and she was always very attentive. I will be back later tonight for drinks as our group celebrates our last night in Amsterdam. Thank you so much Wyers, Maria and a shout out to the Orlando who gave us spa/shopping directions! Most bakeries and restaurants sells desserts at about €6-9 and when you want something sweet but not too fancy, this place can be a life saver. Very friendly staff. Beignets were hot and fluffy. Choose one from 4 kinds dipping sauce and I really liked vanilla. It's like having melted vanilla bean ice cream. Coffee was also very well priced and great. PS: no seating and only takeaway. Good fresh quality and service in a fine dining restaurant. Entrees are about 15 Euros, buffet is 24 Euros which includes the coffee and juice and looked pretty good and probably worth it. I was limited on time so I ordered a mocha and the salmon breakfast entree

This is a hotel restaurant and super fantastic! Because it's owned by the Kimpton chain of hotels and in a touristy area the service and some of the food is very reminiscent of America. I had the wings and the whipped ricotta. These were the first true buffalo wings I have had since I arrived in this country, so amazing, the blue cheese dressing was also very good. Love Love Loved the whipped ricotta, super creamy and fresh paired with the grilled bread perfect bite to have with cocktails.

The best ! BLTA in the world ! I live in California where the food the weather is amazing . I went here last year . I'll always come back to eat! I'm literally making it stop in Amsterdam for this food again this December! Try it you'll love it !

This place is OFF THE CHARTS, AMAZING!! It's cutting edge, innovative, delicious and fun. It's comfort food done with elegance and sophistication, ultimately, really yummy! Chef Sammy D is doing something very cool and unique that can't be missed. I stayed at DeWitt hotel so I got to eat a number of meals here. So many favorites, but to name a few -the Octopus unbelievable, Hot Dog (Berkshire Pork, Jalapeño) I had like 4 times, Duck Pasta amaze, Branzino perfection, steaks are all great - one even comes w luscious bone marrow on side. Desserts great, too. Atmosphere really cool industrial, wood bloc tables. Perfect to be sexy and also casual. Service was top notch. I'll probably come back to Amsterdam just because I'm gonna Miss this food

Brand new restaurant! Excellent meal - best I've had in Amsterdam thus far - and I've been around. Chef SammyD is a legend and he's doing a fantastic job at the Krimpton Hotel. Seafood and meat here is fresh and top quality - location is great - your in the Theater district and near the Red Lights. Prawns, Mussels and Lamb are world class. Come for the wood-fire grill! Can't miss! Eat here now!

Wonderful service, and delicious fresh food. Great restaurant in a very touristy area where dining options are mostly fast food. I dined at the chefs bar which is perfect for a solo traveler looking for a nice meal. The Service was excellent and everyone was friendly and enthusiastic about the restaurant. Cabernet ( delicious) Amouse Bouche (deviled egg of some kind -very delicious) Sweatbread Salad ( my favorite) Hangar Steak and Fries ( great Fries) Chocolate experience desert ( beautifully plated)

Very modern environment in a very old city the look didn't fit the city. Food was just ok. Need to up the culinary game. Wouldn't go again

The food and drink are excellent. I had the cup of soup, which was literally a small cup but very tasty. The chicken 'a la brick' was a thin filet with unexpected accompaniments and very tasty. The first waiter was a bit distracted and seemed to misplace my order. The Latin waitress realized there was a issue, approached me, and made it all better. She even gave me a beer on the house. I told all this to the manager on my way out and she was very happy to hear praise for her staff

Bad service. Inappropriate management behavior. Absolutely no customer service skills. Too bad for us were the sentiments of this "fine" establishment. This is the tourist area and if you are in here...you need to lower the bar. Ours was high. That was our mistake and our result with Wyers. Because of this, they know you won't be coming back! If you have high expectations because of the high reviews, you too will be saddenly mistakened. You've been warned!

Wow! Wyers is AWESOME. The ambiance is lovely, and the service is fantastic. More importantly, Wyers is a true foodie haven amidst a sea of uber touristy food options. I had the special watermelon and seared tuna salad and will likely be dreaming about it. So delicious! Highly recommend for foodies in Amsterdam desiring a high quality, creative, fresh meal.

Spent thanksgiving in Amsterdam and made reservations at Wyers for some American food - did not disappoint. Delicious thanksgiving dishes, turkey and prime rib with all the trimmings. Would love to come back and sample the regular menu, but overall excellent experience.

Loved this spot! We had just flown in and wanted some familiar food after a long day of travel. The wine was wonderful, as was the "compliments of the chef" shrimp chips with tomato salsa and sweet and spicy cucumbers. We ordered the duck pappardelle and sucade (slow roasted beef), with a side of the truffle mashed potatoes, and all three were outstanding. The portion of the pasta was large, though we managed to eat everything. We split the chocolate dream dessert and can't recommend it enough! The tiny dollops of orange purée with the coffee ice cream and chocolate mousse are pure perfection. Our server (didn't catch his name) was prompt, polite, and offered several wonderful recommendations.

Five stars based on our experiences at the bar only - we did not dine here. We were staying at the Kimpton DeWitt, and we stopped in for a nightcap or pre-dinner cocktail several times. The bartenders do an excellent job and are really artisans - excellent Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, and a slightly spicy and delicious substitute for a gin and tonic! Much better than I would have expected from a hotel bar - I'd go here based on the quality any time.

Website says they are open till 2:30pm for lunch, came across town and arrived at 1:45pm and they would not serve us. Hostess was trying to be helpful, manager was not.

Restaurant that is in the Kimpton Dewitt hotel. I had a lamb shoulder chop which was very good. It being a bit fatty is what kept them from getting a 5 star. Good beer choices plus wine. A very interesting choice. Also some good American breakfast options.
