Wyndham Alltra Samana - All - Inclusive Resort

We had a really nice time here. The staff are beyond helpful, almost too helpful. They are so lovely. The rooms were clean, everything was clean really. The food was always either really good or pretty good, but never awful. (Although the a la carte sushi was very very bad). The beach is very lovely (although it isn’t huge so it feels really busy just from the other guests of the hotel) but if you walk to the left there is another beach not on the resort that is not crowded and I loved it . I had a great time. My only complain was the bedsheets were not good. Scratchy and hot. Also, it is like almost 2 hours from the airport. We arrived at night, and the drive in the dark was not fun. I would never arrive after like 5pm ever again because it made the journey miserable since it was just hit and bouncy but nothing to look at.

The place was amazing, everyone was very friendly, the stay was super nice and comfortable. The food was amazing, the view of the rooms toward the beach was beautiful.. The pool was amazing, all the employees there were super sweet and had amazing service and treatment. Bernardo, Olga, Luisa, Sandra, & Anelis were amazing!! Had everyone up and engaging with all the people, they made the vacation super fun!!! They were honestly amazing and super fun to be around, truly loved them sooo much!

It was our first time in the DR. I would definitely recommend Samana & the Wyndham Alltra Resort! The staff are friendly. The hostesses & servers at the Buffet were lovely & accommodating. Bingo with Luisa & Cassandra was always fun! Our favorite spot to begin our day was the beach café. Judeisy & Luiza Maria made us the yummiest iced coffees, always with a beautiful smile & a kind word.

This resort is amazing! The food, the beach, the service, the rooms, everything is top notch. The beach is nothing we have ever been to before, it is so beautiful and very calm and relaxing. There is a variety of food and it is cooked very well. Reynaldo was very kind and helped us with booking the great teppanyaki experience. The resort is calm and quiet and great for families. If I could, I would rate this resort 10/10. Thank you for the perfect holiday!

Great time spent here. Very relaxing, the entertainment team was great, big thanks to them for making sure we were not bored. Francisco Brito was, by far, the most outstanding employee we had the pleasure of encountering during our stay. He was exceptionally kind, hospitable, and attentive, and he truly went above and beyond in making our trip memorable. Thoughtful gestures—such as remembering our drink orders and having them ready by dinnertime entirely on his own initiative—made us feel genuinely cared for. He was consistently welcoming, professional, and visibly passionate about his work. Francisco’s presence alone elevated our experience, and he is a true asset to your team.

We spent nine days here. We liked the buildings close to the registration desk and buffet restaurant. I can see how families would like a bungalow but all of the bungalows have queen size beds, and two beds in a little upstairs loft the rooms closer to the lobby were nicer and so were the showers. There are lots of pools three big pools for adults and a small pool for children. The food is really good and if you go to the buffet, you can get just what you want and not over eat. If you get an ocean view or a master suite then you can go to the VIP pool. We got a master suite it wasn’t very expensive and we had a lot of extra room. I say that 80% of the staff seemed to like their jobs and want to make you feel good in 20% or just drawing a paycheck the people who make you feel good make you feel real good. The beach is really nice although when we were there, there was this seaweed which was sort of creepy. We had a few power outages, which was irritating. I would stay here again. I think it’s a great place for a family or for an older couple like us or for a young couple if you just want to get away.

Very clean and tidy cozy hotel! Employees work as a team: everyone's trying their best to accommodate our needs, no matter their position! You feel like home from the get go and no pressure at all. Our family here feels very relaxed and super safe. Would high recommended to everyone as all inclusive family resort.. not to mention, beach is amazing as in post cards. Food is super nice, exceeded our expectations and last Punta Cana experience 😉

We arrived at 9:30 pm on Christmas Eve. The manager ensured that we all had dinner before the buffet closed. They didn't rush us, and check-in was a breeze. The latest you can get food is 10 pm, but I never felt like I needed anything after. The staff were very friendly. English is not their first language, but they did their best to accommodate. There were times with language barriers, but nothing that couldn't be worked out. We left the resort daily to explore the area. We went to Rudy's Ranch for an excursion. I highly recommend leaving the resort and following the signs to the ranch. The downtown Las Galeras and the surrounding area were safe and absolutely beautiful. People outside of the resort on the beach will try to stop you and sell you excursions, but in my experience, when you say no, thank you, they will back off and not harass you. Rooms were spotless and cleaned wonderfully every day.
