The hotel has a great location with a beautiful beach. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the food was disappointing — limited variety and poor quality. The buffet area had a serious issue with flies, and unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem to address it. The wine and alcohol used in the cocktails were also very low quality, which took away from the overall experience.

Very nice resort and beautiful beach. Nice place to relax and Carolin always made sure my kids had fun with many kids activities around the pool and beach. Rooms very clean & neat and all the staff are very friendly . We love the beach very clean and clear. Thinking to come back again next family vacation

We came for a week . The location of the hotel is beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by water and the beach is nice and calm. The attention to the guest is noticeable they have lot of people working here so what ever you need they take care of it. My kids had a lot of fun with the games and the hug hunt. Thanks to Casandra, Bernardo, carolyn, Luisa, Olga and Deylin at the camp! The food was good but I feel needs more variation. A hotel in a Caribbean Island should have more seafood options. Period. Every meal. We were lacking some seafood variety as when you come to line is why you expect. However, the cooks were always very accommodating and had very good customer service. I will come back to this hotel. Can’t forget to mention when we arrived. Rid of with champagne and juices for the kids. And Felix took really good care of us.

June 7th, 2025 My group of 6 traveled from the USA - Baltimore & Arizona landed in Punta Cana & transported via Gringo Transportation excellent driving over 4+hrs to get here to Wyndham Alltra Samana for 4 days stay. I honestly wanted to give this place a 4-star, but it would be a blatant lie & not fair to others. The truth is for the 14+hrs total travel time & 4 long days here out of season & based on the food & available activities "its not worth it". We were told November thru March is whale watching & High season, so that's when this resort & Samana comes alive. I'm hoping to return in February / March 2026 for whale watching, so I hope that's true. We are here in June, so this is my review for this time: beautiful lobby, nice rooms with comfy beds & great air conditioner & hot showers, beautiful pools, and well manicured landscape. The overall flow & accessiblity to enjoy the resorts get 3-star, Beach 4-star, great swimming & minimal sea grass, gorgeous & lots of beach chairs but no umbrellas so direct sun can be tuff. The beach is government owned, so lots of locals showed up in boats on the weekend live music & laugher, if i knew Spanish I would go with them as they brought the fun & life of the party. The staff 3-star due to language barriers as they speak Spanish & we English it was challenging to communicate but they were friendly & kind. The BUFFET FOOD & all food here - 1-STAR HORRIBLE. That was the biggest disappointment. EXCEPT the fried chicken on 1st night that was good. IF you are vegetarian, there's lots of tomatoes, spinach, iceberg lettuce & pasta with ONLY balsamic & ketchup as dressing. No french, italian, ceaser, Thousand Island, ect.. I'm still stuck on ketchup 😒 being a dressing. Smh. The cake options were terrible, the chocolate cake was bitter from being burnt, others tasted like sugar-free or cardboard, not good. Overall the buffet was truly miserable, it should not be called a buffet bearly any food available, breads, miger selection food options, and was open only 1st night but closed other nights or open for salads & soups only & option to order entree from menu. I don't care how gorgeous an All-Inclusive beachfront resort is; if the food sucks & liquor weak please remove the word "All-Inclusive" and just say HOTEL with complimentary selected meals. My group was so hungry we were ready to check out 2 days early but after group meeting with the assist general manager and guest service manager, they impressed us by preparing a family style meal for our group with food items we requested; fish, fried chicken, red peas & rice, ect - it was good & we ate well finally. We saw 2 other groups get similar style serving & wondered if they had complaints too. Hmm??. I will say they are trying & so deserve another chance & since this was their slow season, I will return to give them a 2nd chance. Honestly, if you only want peace, relaxation & great beach, this is a really lovely choice be sure to land in Santo Domingo airport so only 3hrs drive time. Hope this helps.

This is one of the few hotels and locations I will go back to. The hotel is spacious, it has an amazing view of the ocean and mountains. The beach is beautiful and from the hotel you can easily access other beaches and explore other natural areas. What made this trip the most enjoyable was the animation and activity team that every day and night have games and activities to keep visitors entertained. Big thanks to Casandra, Luisa, Bernardo, Daily, Olga, Anelys....they are the best ! From the Hotel you can do excursions to different natural places like Cascade del Limon, Los Haitises, Cayo Levantado, ect... Love Samaná, Love República Dominicana 🇩🇴🇩🇴❤️💙

A legit 4-star hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. The beach is excellent, almost no waves and seaweed. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach, no need to reserve. The beach is pretty clean, a mixture of send and lawn. Lots of vegetation and palms. No sun huts, but you can always find shade. Not a lot of people, I would estimate ~50% occupancy, may be more. No crowds, pretty quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The food was good quality, but rather limited, yet enough. There could be more fruit and more food for kids, but this wasn't a drastic problem or anything. The fresh juices were so so. The rooms were clean with enough space. The hotel is rather eco oriented. Night entertainment was okay, shows weren't loud and didn't go too late to bother people going to bed earlier. Overall very nice experience, would definitely recommend coming.

Nice hotel with a awesome location, the beach is beautiful. The room was nice and clean, the staff was nice and friendly. The food was really not great, few alternatives but worst was the quality. The buffet was full of flies, and no one of the staff cared. The wine and the alcohol for the cocktails was also really cheap.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It was very clean. Very fun activities with Bernardo, Jeremi, and Kasandra. Very nice beach surrounded by beautiful nature. We will definitely visit this place again. We went on excursion to the Haiti National Park, and saw different caves and beautiful rainforests.
