Wyndham Costa del Sol Trujillo

Fantastic hotel tucked away in a wealthier residential neighborhood. It was quiet, clean, and had comfortable, the most important aspects of any stay. Beyond that, the staff were great! The front desk was always prompt, polite, friendly and answered any questions we had. Fred, our server at the restaurant was awesome! So was the food, including the buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed the pool and playing lawn chess. It's a 5 stars hotel and we can see why. I hope to visit Trujillo again and if I do, I'll be staying here again! Thanks Fred for the fantastic time and your service!!!

A little oasis in the city. Ideal stay if you are looking to stay put and get away from the city. Hotel is located in the wealthier side of town and mostly surrounded by residential units. A five star hotel in South American standards. Grand entrance and great costumer service at reception. Included breakfast buffet, which had a great selection of food. The room was spacious and clean. We were able to get a kid’s cot set up (free of charge) which was very nice! Very family friendly, especially with the big round pool. Nothing like a refreshing dip to beat the heat!

It was my first hotel and Peru and great kickstart to our 3 weeks Peru trip. It has some historical sense in it but not too old on the inside. Good location with fantastic view to the city centre. It might get slightly noisy at night but I think the police will stop the noisy activity at around 11pm. The restaurant and food is great as well. A good stay!

The customer service is excellent Giusseppi made sure my breakfast was amazing and Kevin in the front desk made my stay magical. I am grateful for the care and commitment that they have for their customers. Planning to return already!!

We hadn’t been to this hotel in 17 years and everyone remains friendly and nice. Weekends are busier by the pool and Samantha was super nice and always making sure the lounge chairs and space was clean. Loved seeing the alpacas stroll around the property.||Breakfast buffet was plentiful (included). Only reco would be to provide coffee carafes

The Costa del Sol Wyndham Trujillo is a very elegant hotel located right on the main square in downtown Trujillo. Very well positioned for exploring the center of this lovely colonial city. Very polished staff, rooms are amply sized and have comfortable beds. The restaurant is WONDERFUL with superb service and delicious food at reasonable prices. Breakfast choices were well varied. There was tons of security. The courtyard pool is lovely. Really only one BIG drawback. The AC does NOT work in the rooms. Staff came to adjust this for us. But I am convinced that the room ventilation simply does not function properly and it was HOT in Trujillo in January. So Costa del Sol, get this fixed and I will come back for another stay and give you 5 well deserved stars.

We have been staying at this hotel almost every month for the past 10 years. It is located in a safe area in Trujillo, Peru, and we have built a very good relationship with the hotel and restaurant staff. One person in particular, Fred, who works in the restaurant, is amazing. He knows his guests well, is always attentive, and ensures that dining there is a true pleasure.||Yesterday, we were sitting on the terrace for a drink when Fred came by and asked if we needed anything. I mentioned that I would love Picanha for dinner that night. He laughed and said, “I don’t think we can serve you Picanha, but let me make sure you won’t be disappointed.”||Later that evening, we were sitting at the table with a group of seven when Fred suggested we try their meat platters. He said, “We prepared a surprise for you tonight—don’t order, I’ll bring the dishes.” Fred served us one of the best meat platters I have ever had.||All my compliments to Fred and the chefs in the kitchen!

This hotel is very nice and clean. It has a delicious included breakfast but the best of all is the bar. This bar has karaoke, best ambience, music and drinks made by our talented Neyla. We had the best time ever!!! We enjoyed the macerated piscos and Chilcanos. They are delicious 🙌🏼🤩👏🫶🇵🇪
