Had to call for bathroom stopper for bathtub. Also should have stated Hot Breakfast starts at 8:00 am instead was told breakfast was served at 5:30. Had to go buy food out for Breakfast. Looks like the Lobby was beautiful but decided to forgo doing improvements to the rooms. Mattresses were hard, and would have liked longer pillows to sleep on. Small pillows not comfortable. Staff was nice but for the price I would have preferred to stay at a Hilton or Holiday Inn.

First I'll start with what we've liked so far as we are still here. Front staff friendly. Lobby furnished well and clean. Breakfast provided is tasty with a nice atmosphere to eat in with friendly helpful staff. Our room when we arrived was clean and roomy but dated. Now for what I'm displeased with. Their policy is that rooms are cleaned every three days. Upon request you can get your room cleaned more often. Being we are staying only 4 nights , we requested our room be cleaned and towels changed each day. We have now had to request for a third time for our room to be cleaned as it has NOT been cleaned since we've been here. After a long hard day and wanting to just rest , we entered an uncleaned room AGAIN. Infuriated we went to the front desk AGAIN requesting that our room be cleaned. The housekeeping supervisor was immediately called. Now as we sit in the lobby ..... tired ......our room is being finally tended to. I've left two stars in hopes things will improve before we leave. A glass of wine on the house would have been a nice gesture as we sit sit and sit some more in the lobby for our room to be cleaned.

I had a great overall experience during my stay. The hotel is conveniently located just across the street from the airport, and the price was very reasonable. I appreciated the grab-and-go breakfast options, and the property was generally clean. However, I did notice that the hotel is in need of some renovation or remodeling. In my initial room, I encountered a leaking bathroom above me, which raised concerns about potential issues. Thankfully, a staff member named Travis responded promptly and moved me to a new room without any problems. I truly appreciated his quick assistance. While the furniture and decor could use some updating, my stay was still pleasant overall.

Google
The place needs a lot of maintenance. The pool is not functioning. The hot tub is broken. There are some items in the gym. That need heavy maintenance. The rooms are decent. The location is good. The food is sub par They do not seem to change the menu at all. Whatsoever, it's always the same three hot.Items The staff seems to be and good spirits, considering all the things that are wrong with the hotel

Google
Front lobby is deceiving. Nice and clean. However the rooms were horrendous. In our room, there were carpet tiles that were moving around and not locked to the floor, mold and mildew all over the bathroom, ceiling about to fall in, and just grime and dirt on the walls. Very gross state. Customer service was very kind however. Ps - rooms are not very sound proof so be ready to hear everything. Do not recommend.

Google
The personal is very friendly and polite. The location is very convenient because it's just across the street from the airport, you can walk there safely from the exit of the airport. However, like other comments before me, the hotel need some renovation, the area where my room was smell very bad, like sweat, clearly the carpet on the corridor hasn't been clean in a while. The room where I stayed is modest, but the thermostat didn't work, and the AC unit made an awful sound all night, I couldn't sleep because I kept waking up every time it turned on. The pictures of the rooms I saw on the website don't look like the one I stayed. The day I was booking the hotel, I had other hotel options within the same price, i choose this one because it was the closest to the airport, I wish I had read the comments before staying

Google
The checking service was excellent! Friendly! Knowledgeable! Efficient! The room was very comfortable! The price at $92 and $116 with tax was affordable. The breakfast was wonderful! Thank you for everything Windham people! ||It would have been better for our room to be closer to the entrance and not far away.

Do not stay here. Rate you pay is consistent with a run down poorly maintained hotel. People super nice, this is a facility issue. Here is my experience: 1. walked from the airport, which is nice for location. 2. Got a room and started up the elevator (which was clunky/jerky). 3. walked to room 24xx which required me to go through 4 or 5 external doors (none of which were key for security and all were wide open to the public. This was basically a motel not a hotel. Entry doors were unlocked and very ricketty. I called and said I do not feel safe here and they moved me to the main building. Got into the room and noted the lack of security of the room (see photo). I basically could not secure my room. The head was loose and could not be directed. Then beds seemed okay, but by then I was worried about everything. This "hotel" needs massive capital to update security and overall a tired property. They could double their rates if this was even decent. Never again for me.

Yelp
Super close to ELP airport, like walk across the parking lot close. I love that because I don't have to rely on them to get me in/out of the airport. Had the water running for 5 minutes and it was still cold. Waited another 5, still cold water only from both the shower and sink. Called to check what's up with that and front desk said no (hot) water till the morning, maybe...... Ugh, going to bed krusty isn't the way to end the night nor start the morning with the possibility of it not working is annoying. I don't know if it's because of the Texas winter issues that caused that but at least the workers are all nice to makeup for the inconvenience. There's a microwave and fridge in the room.

Jacquelyn T.

Yelp
Yuck. The ONLY thing going for this motel is it's a 3 minute walk from the terminal. Loud and inefficient ac. The rooms are outside the lobby, actually outside and a roach big enough to saddle was in my room. Never again. Update: got struck here again, the rooms that are actually in the hotel are not as awful, terribly outdated and in desperate need of a rehab, but not disgusting.

Esther Z.

Yelp
We were in room 1133, on 1st floor, for 1 night. The WiFi in this room sucked, off and on (mostly off). The nearer you walked toward the lobby the stronger the WiFi signal. The noise, on a Saturday night, was horribly loud. No or little noise abatement, apparently. You can hear cars cranking up outside, a party singing Happy Birthday and sounds from the hallway while lying in bed. This went on until 2-2:30AM. Then peaceful quiet but no WiFi even in non-peak use time. Make sure your room number is lower than 1133 if on the 1st floor if you value WiFi. On the other hand, the room was huge with wood doors separating the sleeping area from living room. The living wood had a couch, refrigerator, big microwave, separate kitchen sink & counter, table and chairs; good size for a family of 4. Comfy beds(2 Queens) and pillows. There is a Salsa bar & grill with burgers and comfort foods. We ate dinner, sharing an 8 ounce burger and avocado soup. Delish soup, overcooked charred burger. Beer and snack prices were decent for an airport adjacent hotel. On Sunday morning breakfast sort of started at 7AM (coffee and tea, toast, cereal, milk yogurt, 2 fresh fruit). The hot food part, proteins, of the buffet service started at 8AM. Wish we knew that in advance instead of being led to believe the full buffet started at 7AM.

Yelp
They can improve by returng my money. Thats a start look at the pictures we ended up not going back on our wedding. Take your family for a moldy stay. Have your wife stay at this crap.

Ellie E.

Yelp
This place needs to be remodeled and have better communication with their staff. Rooms don't get cleaned til the 3rd day. Towel exchange must be requested more than once. Phone doesn't work and the floor is definitely not kid or elderly appropriate. Keep in mind when booking that the exhaust fan in bathroom stays on all day and night there's no switch to turn off! Carpet is coming apart, floor squeak like crazy. Rooms are dirty and dusty both me and my sister had rooms and neither met quality standards. Look for yourself before booking. Worse of all I brought it all up to the management and teams attention and since I prepaid online there's nothing they can accommodate me for this. So the least I can do is save others money and the disappointment.

Kelly T.

Yelp
Very dated- shower head has little pressure and looks about 20 year olds- Hotel needs a good deep cleaning- polite staff- Air conditioner very loud - room phone did not work . Toilet paper extremely hard.

Ruthie B.

Yelp
The rooms were clean and very comfortable. There's a door that separates the sitting area and the bedroom. There's a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The gym, although small, was very clean, and the equipment was in good condition. I've stayed here several times and the staff have always been so nice and welcoming. There's complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. The location is about a 5-minute walk from the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

Sandy S.

Yelp
Very disappointed with this hotel. It was recommended and it was a terrible stay. They had an air conditioner that made soooo much noise you couldn't sleep. Foo d a dirty bandaid on the floor, I made sure to wear socks. I talked to the front desk they moved my room. I will not stay here again.

Melanie C.

Yelp
I've stayed at this Wyndham location a couple of times and I've never encountered any major issues. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. My one and only complaint is that it's outdated. The hotel is about 20 yrs past needing a renovation. The rooms are large, with a living room, small kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom. On this particular visit I was booked in the presidential suite. It has a large living room area, kitchenette, dining table for 4, huge bathroom with his and her sinks, jacuzzi, water closet, and a bedroom with a king size bed. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean which is what mattered most. Just don't expect a luxurious hotel stay when booking this location.

Brandon V.

Yelp
Pretty sad run down hotel.only pro is you can walk from airport to the hotel. Only stayed here one night on business. Hallway was outdated, dirty stain, stuff was on the floor, not clean. Room key did not work after arriving past 1am. Water pressure in bathroom barely trickle down, WiFi is SUPER slow and kept making you sign on again. Hotel needs major renovation.

Eddie G.

Yelp
This place is out dated, rooms smell. You should look at furniture, the carpets are dirty and smell so bad. One room had mosquitos. Wyndham Hotel should be ashamed. In all fairness the staff has been kind, we were moved 4 times, the last room given to us was the Presidential Suite. Maybe that was true in 1950, the room has furniture is so old. We booked room through Priceline, they were no help in getting us a refund so we could go elsewhere.

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
I strongly recommend this place because during my three day stay there every staff member was extremely accommodating towards my self and my guests. I will definitely make this place my first choice during my next visit.

Sachelle H.

Yelp
If I could give Kimberly and Rosa 5 stars I would but unfortunately, we are talking about the property. The water is HOT which is a plus for me! It's literally across the street from ELP but it's super outdated. We went to El Paso for a football tournament and this stay was literally the only con to the trip. Smelly, old, mold and gross! The place is so old that the people upstairs sounded like they were going to run a hole in floor. We heard every step and although management and maintenance took care of it the first night, the second night felt like they made up for it. I woke up on the second night of our stay to use the restrooms (make sure you have good knees because the toilet is basically on the floor) and noticed there was a shadow on the wall above my sons bed. When I turned on the lights it was a roach... NO WORDS! Outdated & old need to update and renovate ASAP!!! Same yourself time and don't waste your money or nights sleep!

Marisa M.

Yelp
Not sure why all the bad reviews because I stayed here a few days ago and it was actually really nice MINUS the old hideous looking furniture. Yes, I will agree the furniture is HIDEOUS and looks like it's from the 70s. The pics I posted says it all lol. As far as the staff.. when we first checked in... it was early but the girl at the front desk named Abby was soooo extremely helpful and friendly. She made sure to check if there was any early rooms available for us... then she even offered an upgrade because I had no idea I was even a Wyndham gold member. The hotel is currently under renovation but that didn't mess up any plans. The restaurant and bar are open till 11pm and the staff are extremely friendly. The restaurant has a variety of food available till 11pm also. The only cons I found from this hotel was that there is no room service for food delivery..... you just have to order it from your room and pick up. Also the hotel store has ALL YOUR NEEDS and they are open till 10pm. My room was 1129 and like everyone else stated in their review the furniture is very old and hideous looking. As far as cleanliness.... I would give this room 5 stars and I'm very picky on cleanliness. The bed is extremely comfortable I did not want to get out of bed once it was time to leave. Hopefully in the summer time the hotel will be successfully renovated and the outdoor water slides will be open for use. Enjoy my pics:)

Ronda N Dennis P.

Yelp
I would not recommend this hotel. The TV in the sitting area with the couch is TINY. There are NO USB outlets It was not that clean. There is a very limited number of channels on the TV, no movie channels like HBO or showtime, not even a modern enough TV to log into your own streaming service. No free breakfast! Go somewhere else...

Mark C.

Yelp
Not a nice hotel, we stayed on the first floor the roof squeaked all night long, like a highway of feet. Walls are very thin as heard all the conversations next room over. The plumbing was terrible, bathroom was reminiscent of a gas station bathroom that was poorly maintained, floors and dirty walls and baseboards. The bathroom shower plumbing was clogged up so your standing in backed up water. I told a desk clerk she said yes these are normal problems here. I asked move. I went upstairs and same plumbing problem backed up. The bedding and pillows smelled of body odor. Not sure what happened to this hotel but I would pass on staying here again. How they get a 4 star is beyond me.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Two stays. One great. One horrid. Wrote to Alexa Rodriguez & Luis Sanchez - both are executives, to express my concerns. Never heard back from either one. Guess Hawthorne doesn't care about it's customers

EM B.

Yelp
I know this goes against other reviews, but I find this hotel charming. The staff are so great, the bar and restaurant is fine and the walkable location cannot be beat. Yes, it's older and could do for a remodel, but it's just got a good vibe . Rooms are suite like style . It's not fancy but it is clean and not in disarray .

Alan P.

Yelp
Gross. Roaches in my bed. My boss paid for the room, so I shouldn't complain, but gross.

Michael W.

Yelp
Kimberly was our check-in guest representative and went above and beyond. If this review were based solely on customer service it would be 5 stars because of her alone. Unfortunately there were many more cons. Walls are paper thin. You can heard the thumping of every person coming and going. The room was really nice size but they short changed the bathroom pretty bad. Door hits knees when you're on the poo can. A/C will not go below 71 despite what it is set to

John P.

Yelp
Get ready to be transported back to the 1980s. Of course you start out in 2018 when you enter the lobby. Modern furniture, nice decor, and of course a warm inviting atmosphere. The hotel staff are very pleasant while they check you in for your teleportation experience. I was pleasantly surprised upon check-in to learn that I had been upgraded to a suite. I'm not even a rewards member. I was also given a card that had my name on it. Wow, this is quite the treatment. I soon entered the teleportation device (elevator) and began my journey to 1983 (2nd floor). Ah, those were the days. Wait no, this is still 2018. Crap. This teleportation device must be broken. Surely someone has put in a maintenance request for this to be repaired. Everything about this free upgraded suite was just horrible! The two beds (twin size) were incredibly uncomfortable. The a/c took forever to cool the room down to a reasonable temperature. The plumbing in the bathroom was poor. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Sink faucet dispensed hot water at slightly above a trickle. Furniture is literally from the 1980s. Not sure about the carpet. Maybe the 90s. The card I was given was a hand written note from the director of sales for the hotel welcoming me and also included a coupon for a free drink. I took the time to email her during my stay to inform her of the horrible condition of the hotel rooms and maintenance issues. I also informed her that if I wasn't just here for 2 nights I would've already checked out by now. I did receive an email back from her the next morning and she was in absolute agreement about the dated furniture and apologized for my experience. She stated that they do have plans to update the mattresses and furniture before the end of this year. I will certainly not be coming back here. Definitely not recommended. This is the type of experience I would expect from a low budget hotel and I would almost rather stay at one of those!

Michael R.

Yelp
Excellent hotel and great service! Not too sure why it has low stars. My room was clean and it's in a prime location! The rooms are a tad outdated but you get a lot for what you pay.

Alexis L.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely rude, the rooms were DIRTY, smelly, and outdated. The bathroom in the room had to be repaired because it kept clogging with every use. Nobody used the bathroom to pop, but when the maintenance man was done "fixing" the toilet, there was feces smeared all in the toilet and it was still not working completely. Small Bugs in the room, something like gnats. We stayed at this hotel with our football team for a tournament and every single person had an issue with cleanliness, and the service from the staff. The hotel's elevators were a disaster and one was out of service. The working elevator was also not 100% working. The rates are not any cheaper than a nicer hotel. Do yourself a favor and do not book here. I'm definitely calling corporate to complain. Also, if you plan on going to the pool, do not invite friends to come visit and swim. The pool is for hotel guests only and they require wristbands to be worn at the pool. We invited a couple 8 year olds from the football team (who weren't staying at the hotel), and there was a huge blow out between the "wristband patrol man" and a few of the parents. This staff member only seemed to worry about the African-American children not wearing wristbands but never said a word to me or anyone else who was not African-American about the wristbands. It was so heated, it got to the point where this man was threatening to call the police. Moral of the story: DO NOT BOOK HERE. (Unless you like stinky rooms, and rude staff)

Nellie F.

Yelp
Spent 2 nights here while in El Paso on a work trip. It's really conveniently (literally) across the street from the Airport. Like you only have to come out the main entrance and cross the street on foot! So it's ideal for a long layover. I mean... it's really nothing to write home about. I got a 2 full bed suite. There was only one of me - waste of bed if you ask me. The bed was comfy enough, the room was clean... nothing too modern or impressive. It really just served the purpose. The bathroom was pretty small to where you had to maneuver to shut the door were you already on the toilet. I got breakfast vouchers for their restaurant. It was for the breakfast buffet, which you know is your average 3-start hotel spread. They did have some variety from one day to the next which was cool. Like I said before, it serves the purpose. If you're looking for a clean, decent place to rest and relax after a hard day's work, sure. If you're looking for a luxurious hotel with modern amenities, etc... this ain't it!

Justin J.

Yelp
Well like other posters said, its dirty, not nice, has outdated furniture, and some of the staff are rude. But some of the staff are really nice. Oh and no free breakfast. There's really not a lot of reasons to stay here honestly.

Alvino M.

Yelp
I just stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. I won't even tell you how much I paid for my room as it was almost double of what other guests paid. I know this cause I talked with other guests traveling for a basketball tourney. My concerns were I reserved a two room suite and got put in a 2 double bed room, secondly the shower head was broken and never got fixed while I was there, next they only gave 2 towels for 4 people this don't work! We had to use pool towels and gym towels, that takes me to the last thing stayed there 3 nights and never got house cleaning! This is a joke especially when I paid what I did. I'm not one to write a review but I want to warn you before you book here cause normally I'm very pleased with Wyndham.

Seahawk Fan M.

Yelp
Omg, what a dump. The only decent thing is the pool. Looks like everything in the room is the original. Curtain valance staple gunned to the wall, original tub drain and faucet, towel rack literally falling off the wall, ordinal dirty lamp shades, dusty room, small tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles so hard I had to step on it in my shower to squirt a dab out onto the tub, sliding door for balcony not able to Move as that too is the old original glass door stuck in time. Obviously no investment being put back into this hotel. I will Never stay at any Wyndham in the future much less this one in El Paso. Only other thing going for it is the location for an early morning flight out of this crime infested town. Gah

Jordan K.

Yelp
Besides the thin walls and heavy footed guest above me, this was not a bad 6 day stay. Hot breakfast buffet, clean and large room, was good. It's right next to the airport and near restaurants/shopping.

Tina M.

Yelp
This is a 2.5 star rating. The hotel is conveniently located across from the El Paso airport. My hubby booked this hotel so that I can visit him on his deployment. At first he called the hotel shuttle to pick us up and then we realized the hotel was just a short walk straight ahead of us. We walked to the front lobby and asked if we could check in. He spoke with a hotel representative yesterday who stated we should be able to check in early. We were told that the room wasn't ready yet and to come back in an hour. We decided to try the hotel restaurant Magnim's. After our meal we returned to check on the status of the room. Still no luck, we were both very tired. The front staff said they would give us a call when our room was ready. About another hour or so later I again checked with the front desk. The lady was pleasant and said she could check us in. I was annoyed as my hubby was falling asleep in the lobby and we never received a phone call. We had a room across from the outside courtyard. The room was decent, it had a king sized bed, a small microwave, and a mini fridge. While it was clean, the furniture is dated and the bathroom was in poor condition. There was rust on the doors, and the shower head was basically falling off the wall, but worked. Nothing special. This hotel is in desperate need for an upgrade. It is off season so the slide is not open or the pool. They had a small jacuzzi and small fitness center. Positives-They offer lemon water in the lobby, convenient location, very close to the airport and some nearby restaurants (Apple Bee's, Cattle Baron). Military discount, they give you one complimentary breakfast voucher. They have an outdoor fire pit for chilly nights. Negatives-For being a Wyndham property, I would say the customer service was not exceptional. I am a Wyndham timeshare owner and always receive the star treatment upon check in. Definitely needs a Reno. All in all an ok place to stay for one night.

Chelo G.

Yelp
Not much hotel options in El Paso above 3 stars so we stayed here. From the outside it looked nice. The rooms were outdated. The bathrooms clogged easily. We had to have maintenance come out to unclog it after the kids used restroom. We had pool view which was nice but there was so many mosquitos. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything going on next door. The pool was way overcrowded throughout the day. They did have a pool cleaner early in the AM cleaning the pool every morning. The rooms were very spacious so that was nice but I probably wouldn't stay here again

Carrie G.

Yelp
NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY FAMILY HOTEL!! We booked this hotel due to its name WYNDHAM WATERPARK EL PASO (which as of this morning had been changed online to add AIRPORT) after my husband spoke to the General Manager. We specifically chose this hotel due to the water park, as we were bringing our 3 teens & their 3 friends. We called ahead to ensure the waterpark would be open. IT'S ONLY OPEN ON SATURDAYS! We then called the front desk to make sure their restaurant Magnim was open and were told it was. Actually, only the Magnim BAR was open to order dinner due to remodeling of the restaurant (which there were no signs of this). Our teens were told they could eat in their room or in the lobby. Not the ideal FAMILY DINNER while on vacation. HOWEVER, the service we received from TAMMI at the bar was exceptional and she should be the GM. The assistant manager on duty during our stay July 10-12 was beyond RUDE and "shushed me away with the wave of her hand" when I spoke to her about the FALSE ADVERTISING and lack of accountability on WYNDHAM's part for not notifying us that there was not an actual restaurant for families to dine together and the water slide was only open on Saturdays *depending on staff. The GM was reluctant to change the website to reflect information about the waterpark and restaurant. CALL AHEAD AND ASK DETAILED QUESTIONS before booking! We have stayed at other Wyndham hotels in past but will take our business elsewhere in the future after this horrible experience. *I should add, that the GM did offer to give us a free breakfast that we declined.

Amy W.

Yelp
room is dated, when checking in they charge your card an extra $150 (that will be reimbursed in 3 to 5 days after your stay. I only picked this one bc of the closeness to the airport which is the ONLY good thing about this place!!!

Steven B.

Yelp
This has been the best hotel I've stayed in so far. I stayed here for a two week business trip. And the overall accommodations, room, amenities were fantastic. A couple steps away from the airport and half mile from the ft bliss gate. Bar/Restaurant was also great along with the breakfast buffet.

Frank T.

Yelp
This was a good weekend to take the family out. But our stay was not that good. You had to walk to the main lobby to get ice. They didn't have free breakfast like they said. The room was small. The only good thing was being close to the pool. And the roof started leaking outside our door.

Patti E.

Yelp
Well, 10 months ago I reviewed our stay here. I took 3 grandkids to stay again for an afternoon of swimming & slide on the "Texas tornado " water slide last night. Fortunately everyone was nice,(I heard employees talking about corporate being there) and friendly. But. The slide was not open & was covered in dirt & leaves. The pool was murky and full of leaves. The suite we paid $180.00 to stay in had 2 really old ,squeaky full sized beds and a pull out couch. It was clean though. We were very disheartened about the beds, the pool, the broken slide and paying 8.00 Each for an average hotel free breakfast buffet. We won't go back and will warn others not to bother.

Robert S.

Yelp
This place looks nice but it's not. The walls are thin and if there is someone above you..u can hear the thumping when someone walking. It felt like a cheap motel. I stayed 2 nights and the third I stayed at motel 6 (better).

Daniel P.

Yelp
I was charged twice for my stay. I called the hotel and they say it's rectified the day after I paid. My refund for the extra charge never came to my account.

Tom H.

Yelp
I did not stay at the Wyndham but attended for a Real Estate conference. The area was well lit and Wyndham served us lunch for the event which was sandwiches, chips and cookiee. I have no complaints about the hotel and think everything was well organizaed. It's a good place if someone is looking to host an event with several hundred people.

Candace H.

Yelp
The stay was very nice although the girl working the front desk( Sebrina) was very very rude. And parking was a little complicated. I would recommend but hopefully you get another front desk attendant that's KIND.

Chuck C.

Yelp
Atlantic Aviation set me up here to stay over due to bad weather. I had great shuttle service to and from FBO. After flying all day, the lounge was good and food not too bad. Room clean and did not smell. Good TV. A bit dated facility, but not too bad. Had OK work out room. The staff was friendly and efficient. No complaints. Breakfast buffet was really good.

William J.

Yelp
The hotel is old and need of repairs. The sink was nasty as well as the old tub to shower. It was inexpensive and we got what we paid for. Go somewhere else

Josh T.

Yelp
Returned to 915 to do some paperwork and so the most points offered by SWA was Wyndham 3,000 points 2 days. I arrived 2 am and the night clerk was very nice and provided me with options for a room. (NOTE: If you want to be in and out of the front desk, have your ID and the credit card you used to reserve the room. Don't take out papers or phones with reference numbers just those 2 things). The city has been running 109 temperature(s) so the pool was in full force. Great pool size with good features for kids. As you enter the hallway, you start to smell the age of the hotel. The room is good size with outlets for phone and computer on the table. The television has local cable channels and can swivel facing your desk in case you're working. Next to the bed you don't have a lot of outlets just one on one side to charge an item. You have a microwave and refrigerator in case you need them. The sink area good size and room cones with a safe for your valuables. The shower was weak and had plumbing issues yet it did its job. It was approximately $100 a night and a few steps away from the airport. It still has its many pluses yet showing its age.

Yelp
I stayed at this location from Sunday 4/25-Tuesday 4/26/2022. There was painter's tape on the hallway walls and also covering the room numbers. We thought that was strange, but there was no wet paint in the halls. Monday morning, as we left the room, two men were adding more painter's tape and seemed startled to see us. When we returned Monday evening, there were dirty drop cloths on the hall floor, heavy duty plastic sheeting covering all doors but ours, and the tape over the door numbers was painted, so you couldn't see through it anymore. We had to peel it back to be sure we were at the correct room. The fire sprinklers were also covered with tape which is against fire code. The room was not very clean, no alarm clock, no USB ports or electrical outlets available in the bedroom area. When we checked out on Tuesday morning, I asked why we were put in that room (we were the only ones on the floor), and the desk clerk said it was an error on their part, but she was not authorized to reimburse us for our stay. She gave me a card and said to call the manager, who wasn't on duty yet. I called after we got back to our home. I was disconnected several times, but finally able to convey what happened. The manager, Gustavo, said he was going to research the incident and call me back. When he hadn't returned my call after several hours, I called him back. He said he could reimburse me for one night. I said no--huge error--both nights should be refunded. Additionally, our towels had the hems pulled out they were so old. Not Wyndham quality. He made lots of excuses and was rude, but finally said he'd refund my credit card. Now almost 24 hours later, I'm still waiting for that refund. I'm calling corporate. After reading reviews about several other Wynham hotel locations, I will never stay in a Wyndham hotel again. I'd give this a negative 5 stars if possible.

Yelp
The staff was AMAZING, Elizabeth was great helping us out as we went through a difficult season. Genesis, Brianne, Juan, Kimberly and the rest of the staff was excellent.

Yelp
Worst hotel I've stayed in. A/C in room didn't work and no hot water in bathroom sink. Dirty and torn furniture. Carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. When I checked out, they weren't interested in listening to any complaints. Don't stay there. I would actually give this property zero stars.

Yelp
My last review said "Never again" but the microtel next door overbooked and put me here.... and they tried to put me back in the same dirty, thrift store-circa 80's-room with no outlets to charge devices and next to the hallway door that goes to the outside is busted and flaps in the wind all night that I wrote the last review about! I complained, got upgraded to a "suite", nicer but still circa 80's and when tried to order room service, neither of the room phones worked. The only thing going for this place is the proximity to the airport...

Yelp
The overall hotel is clean and welcoming. The pool is large with a kid designated area and our room was equipped with all of the necessities we needed for our family. The only complaints are the noise level (the walls are very thin) so we could hear everything going on in the hallway along with other guests waking in the room above. Also, this hotel does not serve complimentary breakfast so for a family with small children the convenience of a ready made breakfast was lacking. This hotel is definitely made more for vacation goers rather than those passing through looking for a relaxed location. **Edit: after writing this review, the noise level continued to rise and become more of a nuisance. The people above us played loud club music and we could hear every door opening as well as every time they walked across the room. This is definitely more of a party stop and not geared toward long distance travelers.

Yelp
I came to El Paso to visit my granddaughter who is in the Army for thanksgiving and checked into a different hotel which was absolutely horrible. I thought there's no way I could stay in a hotel with my granddaughter for the holiday's in conditions that were this bad. So I went around the corner to the Wyndham El Paso Airport Hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous and the manager Anitra and her staff were amazing. They thank me for choosing the Wyndham El Paso Airport and then made sure I had a beautiful room. This place is absolutely wonderful the staff are great. Thank you Anitra for turnings bad hotel experience into a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend anyone visiting the El Paso area to stay at that Wyndham El Paso Airport
