I stayed at this location from Sunday 4/25-Tuesday 4/26/2022. There was painter's tape on the hallway walls and also covering the room numbers. We thought that was strange, but there was no wet paint in the halls. Monday morning, as we left the room, two men were adding more painter's tape and seemed startled to see us. When we returned Monday evening, there were dirty drop cloths on the hall floor, heavy duty plastic sheeting covering all doors but ours, and the tape over the door numbers was painted, so you couldn't see through it anymore. We had to peel it back to be sure we were at the correct room. The fire sprinklers were also covered with tape which is against fire code. The room was not very clean, no alarm clock, no USB ports or electrical outlets available in the bedroom area. When we checked out on Tuesday morning, I asked why we were put in that room (we were the only ones on the floor), and the desk clerk said it was an error on their part, but she was not authorized to reimburse us for our stay. She gave me a card and said to call the manager, who wasn't on duty yet. I called after we got back to our home. I was disconnected several times, but finally able to convey what happened. The manager, Gustavo, said he was going to research the incident and call me back. When he hadn't returned my call after several hours, I called him back. He said he could reimburse me for one night. I said no--huge error--both nights should be refunded. Additionally, our towels had the hems pulled out they were so old. Not Wyndham quality. He made lots of excuses and was rude, but finally said he'd refund my credit card. Now almost 24 hours later, I'm still waiting for that refund. I'm calling corporate. After reading reviews about several other Wynham hotel locations, I will never stay in a Wyndham hotel again. I'd give this a negative 5 stars if possible.
