Very disappointing experience.
I arrived with a confirmed, prepaid Agoda booking, only to be told the hotel “did not receive it.” Despite showing proof of payment and confirmation, the staff repeatedly asked me to call Agoda and sort it out myself rather than taking responsibility.
The hotel had rooms available, but refused to honor my reservation or offer a solution on-site. Instead of assisting or providing a complimentary upgrade—standard practice when a hotel can’t fulfill a booked room—they tried to push the problem back onto the guest.
I spent a long time waiting in the lobby while staff gave vague explanations and “system limitations,” and no one took ownership of the issue. Customer service was unhelpful, unprofessional, and left me stranded without a room despite having fully paid in advance.
In the end, Agoda had to rebook me elsewhere because the hotel would not accommodate me.
If you value reliability and basic hospitality, I would not recommend this hotel. A confirmed booking should mean something, and guests shouldn’t be left to solve the hotel’s problems themselves.
