We stayed one night at Wyndham Garden Quito because we had an appointment in the city. Check-in was very smooth thanks to the online pre check-in, which we really appreciated after a long drive. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s rest. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well.
The hotel is not a luxury property, but rather a functional, executive-style hotel, and it does exactly what it should for a short stay. The location is excellent, right next to Parque La Carolina, and very convenient for moving around the city.
Service was a strong point: reception staff were polite, efficient, and helpful both at check-in and check-out. We also used the ironing service, which was fast and punctual.
Breakfast is offered as a buffet (not included in the room rate). There was good variety and the food itself was fine; however, the coffee was disappointing, and the waffle batter was dry. Aside from those two points, the rest of the buffet was enjoyable.
A small detail to note: the toilet seat in our room did not stay up, which made using the bathroom slightly inconvenient. Not a major issue, but worth mentioning.
Overall, a solid and reliable option for short stays focused on appointments or business rather than leisure. Clean, well located, comfortable, and efficient.
