Great room, spacious and clean. Got federal highway view. pretty at night. Bed is Comfy, plenty of pillows. Got bathtub and shower separate. The hand bidet is confusing at first, but okay once i figure it out. Have free parking at basement with lift straight to the main lobby. The parking at lower levels are quite dark, a bit worrying if you arrived at night or solo traveling. got parking spot for guest. Breakfast buffet have plenty options, chinese, indian, malay and western option all available. Quick refill and taste like hotel standard. Staff during checkin are slower. maybe due to school holidays, hotel is packed.

Our stay at Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur was extremely disappointing and far below what is expected from a hotel carrying the “Grand” label. We were wrongly charged the tourism tax even though my wife is Malaysian, and staff were unhelpful and dismissive when this was raised. We booked a Deluxe Room and were placed on the 20th floor, where the entire floor had a strong unpleasant smell. While the room itself was average, the bathroom was in a shocking condition. As shown in the photos, there was visible mould, dirty grout, stained tiles, and poorly maintained silicone seals throughout the shower area. This is not a minor issue — it is a serious hygiene and cleanliness failure. The shower drainage was also defective, causing water to pool on the floor, making the bathroom uncomfortable and unsafe to use. We requested a room change due to the filthy bathroom, but this was refused. Instead, we were told that maintenance would be sent, which is completely unacceptable when the issue is basic cleanliness. To make matters worse, when we called to order water, the telephone operator was rude and abruptly hung up on us. Overall, the poor hygiene, lack of professionalism, and dismissive attitude toward guest concerns made this one of the worst hotel stays we’ve experienced. This property does not meet basic cleanliness standards, let alone five-star expectations. I would not recommend this hotel unless serious improvements are made to cleaning standards, staff training, and guest service

We had an unforgettable stay at Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur while celebrating our anniversary and my wife’s birthday, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly special. A very big thank-you to Shereen Fo, Assistant Manager Suriati, Zetty, Naim, Rosidah, Muzibur, and Rahman for creating the most beautiful decorations for our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. The effort, creativity, and attention to detail were simply amazing, and we enjoyed every moment of it. Their warm hospitality made our celebration even more meaningful. The food at the hotel was excellent, and we loved every dish we tried. Our room had an awesome view, and it was spacious, super clean, and cozy, giving us the perfect combination of comfort and luxury. Thank you once again to the wonderful team for making our special day truly memorable. We highly recommend Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur and will definitely be back!

An amazing hotel experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Service was fast, friendly, and very professional. The room was clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Love to know one of great Managar , Lynn since we in here. She (Lynn) vert kind abd fantastic Manager with top-notch service. Big Thank you to GM or Wyndham Grand Bangsar En Bakar for great welcoming us and also his team with great service (Faisal, Herry and Khai). “Breakfast exceeded expectations. Im not satisfied. Check-in took an unreasonably long time, even though it was not within peak check-in hours. All the staff at the counter appeared to be trainees, and there were no supervisors or senior staff present to assist or manage the process. I was not satisfied with the room at all. I booked a "Grand Deluxe King Room" but was given a small corner room, more like a storage-sized space. Due to the excessive time spent at registration, I was rushing to attend an event that evening and had no time to request a room change. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The food quality was poor, and even the nasi goreng rice was hard and difficult to chew. After that tasteless breakfast, I returned to my room to freshen up before checking out, only to find that the tap water was rusty, yellowish and brownish in color. I called the reception to report this, and I was told to let the water run for five minutes. This response made it seem like the issue was normal to them. I ended up wasting more time waiting for the water to turn clear before I could use it. Even then, the shower water was only lukewarm and never reached a proper hot temperature, despite waiting for about 10 minutes. The lift situation was also unacceptable. Out of six lifts, only two were working. As a result, guests had to wait a very long time, and the lifts were always overcrowded since they were the only ones in operation. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, worst, it was my birthday. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning.

‎We stayed 3d2n at Wyndham Hotel Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur and found the experience below expectations for a 5-star hotel. ‎ ‎The toilet condition, curtains, and overall room decorations need improvement and should be upgraded to a more modern design. Currently, the room feels dated and does not reflect a premium standard. In addition, the toiletries and tea/coffee amenities provided are not up to a 5-star standard, which was disappointing. ‎Another point to note is that no sejadah was provided in the room, which would be a thoughtful added value for Muslim guests. ‎ ‎On a positive note, breakfast offered a good variety of choices, which was enjoyable and one of the better aspects of the stay. ‎ ‎Overall, while the hotel has potential, improvements in room condition and amenities are needed to better meet 5-star expectations.

I can't believe the 5 star hotel has this terrible breakfast!!! The place which serve breakfast is so hot and you can count on coffee and some cookies only! Even you cant find cheese!!!

The great thing about KL is that it is one of the cheapest big cities in Asia for booking a 5 star hotel room. I stayed at the Hotel Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar during my visit to KL. I found a great deal on this hotel on Hotwire which only came out to about US$55 a night. There aren't many 5 star hotels in the Mid Valley/Bangsar area, so it was easy to figure out that this was the hotel that I would get. There are actually two Pullman hotels in KL. This Pullman is located at the edge of the KL city limits and is close-by to Petaling Jaya. It is right next to Menara TM and overlooks the Federal Highway. Recently, Prince Hotel was renamed the Pullman KL City Centre Hotel so don't confuse these two hotels. I arrived into KL late at night. As I knew that I was going to be checking into the hotel late, I made sure to send the hotel an e-mail letting them know ahead of time of this which I received a reply within a day to indicate that this was noted on my reservation. Upon arriving at KL Sentral after taking a KLIA Ekspres train from the airport, I bought a budget taxi coupon to get to this hotel for RM25, which is the cost for a taxi here after midnight. The taxi driver had some trouble finding this hotel and had to ask for directions. I got the feeling that taxi drivers in KL were not very familiar with this hotel. It is a relatively new hotel having opened only in 2013. You might want to tell the taxi driver that it is next to Menara TM if they aren't sure where it is. Aside from being known as the hotel next to Menara TM, this hotel is the event venue of the annual Malaysian Urban Retreat Festival (MURFEST). The hotel has great facilities that are worthy of the 5 star billing. The hotel has several restaurants including a buffet, cafe and recently opened a Chinese/Thai eatery. There is also a decent size gym and swimming pool here. The hotel also offers free hotel shuttles to KL Sentral and Mid Valley Megamall. To book a shuttle, make a reservation at the concierge desk in the lobby. However, note that the shuttle to KL Sentral is only for guests while they are staying in the hotel. You can't use it to get to KL Sentral to take a train to the airport after checking out as they can't accommodate luggage. As for the hotel room, it was quite large and full of amenities. In addition to the standard free Wi-Fi, the room had a fridge and in-room safe. The hotel also provides you with two bottles of drinking water and five varieties of Lipton tea! But what made it baller was that there was a shower and a bathtub in the bathroom. The room unexpectedly also had some exercise equipment as there were light weights and a yoga mat in the closet. So would I stay here again when visiting KL? I am not sure. While I like the hotel room and amenities, the location of this hotel is out of the way. If you are renting a car in KL, this hotel would be okay. But it didn't seem all that convenient if you are traveling by public transportation. The Kerinchi LRT train station is only a 5-10 minute walk away from this hotel. From there, it is only a 3 stop ride to KL Sentral. That is not too bad, but it is just that there are so many hotels in the same price range that are closer to the tourist areas in KL. I would recommend this Pullman if the hotel facilities are more important to you than the location. For a 5 star hotel, the rooms here are quite reasonably priced. If you are looking for a great hotel away from the touristy areas in KL but still within close driving distance to them, this hotel is a good option.
