Excellent location right outside Surfers Paradise station. 5 minute walk to beach. Nice café however they do tend to get your order wrong. Nice staff. Two bedroom apartment with ocean views was bigger and spacious. Two bedrooms and bathrooms. Washing machine and dryer. Kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds. Clean.

Great location for a hotel, decent rooms too. The service on the other hand was appalling, we were told at 12pm that our room would be ready at 4pm which is pretty late, so we had to find activities to do. After that we headed to the hotel and they say the room isn’t ready at 4pm and were hardly even apologetic. Waited for 30 minutes because we were not given an estimate of when it will be ready and as we go up at 4:30pm they reply with “Oh no one came to get you?” A little sorry and that was all. Do better.

We had a wonderful stay, 3 day stay, apart from not being able to check in till 4pm, our apartment exceeded our expectations. 3 of us adults traveled and we couldn't find fault. Wonderful amenities, food & friendly , would definitely stay again .

We had a very disappointing stay. Check-in took far too long—we weren’t able to check in right away, and even when I said I’d return after dinner, I was told it would be quick. Despite having four hours until reception closed, I was still called during dinner, which I found quite intrusive, especially as I was travelling with a child. I booked the apartment for three guests with one large bed and one sofa bed, but bedding was only provided for two people. There was no bedding for the sofa bed, only two sets of towels, and milk was only provided for one day. Even the hot chocolate sachets were limited to just two. I understand there's no room service, but it really felt like I only paid for two people for one night, not three. Not to mention other issues: the living room TV wasn’t working, and there was a strong unpleasant odour coming from the cupboards, dishwasher, and fridge. The hairdryer appeared unsafe—it was partially melted and cracked. Additionally, the swipe card stopped working at one point, requiring a trip back to reception to resolve it. This was the most inconvenient check-in experience I've ever had, with very little consideration shown. Would not recommend.

The service could have been much better. The original room we were given had a strong odour and was quite run down. I approached reception to request another room of the same type with a futon. The reception staff said the futon would be provided, however it was never given to us. On top of that, my request for a similar room type was not accommodated. The after-hours reception staff were also quite rude. Overall, a disappointing experience and I won’t be staying here again.

Location is great. Good value for money. Hinterland view is stunning! Downside would be the pressure to attend the seminar. All I wanted to do was check in and relax but the guy kept trying to push me into attending after I said I wasn’t sure and that we had already attended one earlier this year. I didn’t give him a confirmed time so he said he’ll call in 45 mins to double check. I told him we weren’t interested more than 5 times and he was still trying to convince me. It was an annoying way to start our trip. Perhaps just advertise it for future or lightly suggest it don’t make people feel like it’s compulsory

We stayed at Hotel Wyndham for 3 nights and the entire experience was ruined because of their pushy and manipulative sales tactics. We were offered to attend a “presentation” and agreed because we thought it would be about the Gold Coast and the hotel itself, not some endless sales pitch for Club Wyndham package deals. From the very beginning I kept asking multiple times what exactly the talk was about, but all they said was “we will talk about the Club.” Nowhere did they mention it was just a timeshare sales trap. They promised it would last 50 minutes, but it dragged on for over 1 hour and 15 minutes and still wasn’t done. We even had a flight to catch and I kept pointing out the time, but they simply didn’t care. The staff were rude and unprofessional, especially towards my parents, and the lady speaking to me kept accusing me of being “disrespectful” simply because I raised concerns about the timing and what we had actually been promised. Instead of listening, they doubled down, being forceful and relentless in pressuring us to buy into their program that very minute under the name of offers. This was totally unacceptable and completely ruined the last day of our vacation. A hotel stay should be about hospitality, not harassment. Forcing guests into aggressive, misleading sales presentations is disgraceful and shows zero respect for their time. I would strongly warn anyone considering this hotel: be prepared for unwanted, pushy timeshare-style sales pressure that overshadows the actual stay.

I was a bit nervous about what to expect after reading the mixed reviews, but my experience was positive. Service at check-in and check-out was friendly and efficient. The free car parking in the basement is a huge plus. I had a room on the tenth floor with a view of the hinterland, which in my opinion is a better view than the more expensive rooms that have a limited view of the beach (looking between other buildings). The apartment was much larger than I expected, was clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. The only negatives I could point out were the mattress felt like it might be due for replacement (a bit lacking in support), there were stains on one of the bathroom towels and one of the pillow cases had a couple of small holes in it. The location is fantastic, with some nearby attractions just a short walk away and a tram stop one block away.
