Wyndham Hotel Surfers Paradise

Always love going to Wyndham as then I'm getting a break from everything. Great services apartments. Service is always helpful and friendly. Convenient in the heart of Surfer's. Great cafe on site with lovely food, friendly staff and wonderful service. We will be back again and again.

Good place. Has parking underneath but pool is much further than expected. On site games would be fun if catered to anyone staying at the hotel. Rooms are spacious and have windows.

We stayed at this hotel through schoolies, and let’s just say we’re never coming back. Firstly when we checked in, we received a massive check list basically telling us to fill out every detail of the room such as if a door was broken or how many knives were in the draw. Doing this whole list would’ve taken absolutely forever, mind u we only had about an hour to fill it out, I don’t get how this is our job and not the hotel staffs job to ensure that our rooms are prepared. Moving on, the staff seemed very rude, we asked for extra towels and toilet paper and they basically brushed us off even though we were literally staying for a whole week. Of course we’re gonna need a few extra things. We also never ended up getting extra towels so we had to keep reusing already wet ones. They locked our balcony due to us being schoolies people, which vaild in some cases but I feel we should’ve had access to this if we’re paying for the hotel?? Definitely could’ve used some fresh air at some point as the room became suffocating with no access to windows. I believe this was completely unfair as we could’ve also used the baloney to atleast dry bikinis without having to use the dryer every single time, and even for beach towels as well. We had no pre warning about any of these things, if we knew we definitely would’ve booked somewhere else. Lastly, we had 0 room service, we mentioned to a lady that nobody had come to clean our room yet and she said “we aren’t your slaves”. Which was diabolical considering every other hotel we had been at offers room service. On top of this, we were expected to clean our whole room including washing and drying all the towels and bed covers to handover to the next person staying in our rooms??? What kind of hotel is this honestly. And if we didn’t do that, we wouldn’t recieve our bond back. If we had known all this prior to booking this hotel with schoolies we wouldn’t have chose it. Very restrictive and just stupid. It seems to me that the hotel staff are just there for decoration as we basically had to do everything on our holiday to keep the hotel happy. This added alot of extra stress when we were trying to check out as the strandards were set very high.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The receptionist Claire was very welcoming and friendly on my arrival. Rooms and view were perfect. I had great stay here. P.s the staff member on coffee ☕ made a great flat white this morning :)

Located no more than 10 minute walk from Cavil. Room was clean and modern. Included movies, wifi and music. View from balcony was amazing.

Room is perfect! Spa and swimming pool is perfect! The facilities are amazing and room is very spacious with great laundry services. The MAIN PROBLEM IS THE STAFF. Starting with the guy who welcomed us at Check in Dhariya! I thought same community things will be easy to talk through but, it turned out to be start of the failure of hospitality. First of all we didn’t came to you to offer us any voucher it was you who came in so initially if you telling us we will get some discount on any activity let’s stick on it. My husband went in morning they said we can but, when we came in evening staff totally denied. Well! My English is well approved by Australian Government so I don’t think there as a language barrier. The blonde lady at the desk had an insulting face like you Indian I don’t talk with them. Then this lady “Emma” she acted like she own Wyndham. She said I am the one who is taking care of the hotel as there is no manager. Like I guess she works 30-31 days at work. Wow! She definitely was ignorant to whatever I was saying and acting like I don’t give a damn. She offered some credit which was least interested I still thanked her without any response from her. If you will check records I didn’t even use it. She is definitely very rude and if she is manager god bless your hotel. The only people I thought was sensible and had good customer service were the people of club Wyndham I don’t remember the boss name but, Viv and Pav were at least sweet to talk with. Even the guy who checked us out and the old lady by his side had at least a smile at face. Trust me people at front desk is as rude as your staff in Melbourne they are fired from the hotel. I don’t know is it just an issue with Indians or what is the problem. I guess the hotel is running on the basis of the location, facilities and great room. Hospitality needs to be improved if you would like people to stay more and join club Wyndham.

Wyndham never disappoints. Large, spacious apartment with full kitchen & laundry facilities. Lovely wee in house restaurant and bar with great food and service, especially by Nicole at the bar who was very professional and friendly. Great views and pool/BBQ area .

Really enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we wanted - location was excellent. Close to the beach, just out of central Surfers but walking distance. Room could do with a bit of an upgrade - carpets were tired and beds were okay but could be better. Pool was great - they provided towels for pool and beach so no need to bring your own beach towels. Didn’t realise it was a timeshare hotel so salesman was a bit pushy at first.
