We had a wonderful stay at Wyndham Sacramento! When we arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and cozy beds, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The location was convenient, with quick access to restaurants, shops, and major highways. Breakfast was a nice bonus, offering a good variety to start the day. Overall, a great experience—we'll definitely stay here again when we're in town.

I will admit my first impression of the hotel wasn't great. I first arrived around 9, so it was dark out, and Maps had me arrive through the back ally way of the hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised to see what a great and beautiful hotel it was once I walked inside. Lobby and rooms were clean, and the beds were super comfy. The shower had really good water pressure. They had a mini fridge and microwave. Toilet was a little hard to flush at times, but no issues. All in all, I was very happy with the hotel, and I will keep in mind when I need to visit my brother during Christmas time.

Who hires people who can’t even make a simple hotel reservation over the phone?! I called the number listed on Google Maps several times and kept getting connected to a woman with a heavy Indian accent. She could barely speak — it sounded like she was struggling to breathe. She didn’t understand my email, couldn’t process basic information, and I just wanted to book and pay for a room! Why is there even a third-party involved in this? I wasted 30 minutes and a lot of nerves just trying to reserve a room! In the end, I realized I was speaking to someone who has no idea where the hotel is even located. She didn’t know the address — it was madness. Why can’t the front desk manager just handle a reservation in 5 minutes, take payment, and be done with it? Instead, I had to talk to someone who probably can’t tell Sacramento from San Diego. This was the most frustrating and stressful booking experience I’ve ever had — in any language, in any country.

The location was great, but the place can use a renovation. The sink in the bathroom drained slowly, very slow. The shade on the lamp was hanging off. The chair was stained, and the sheets had holes in them. It served its purpose for a quick getaway, but I don't think I will book there again.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, they created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every aspect of my visit went smoothly and beyond expectations. Looking forward to returning the next time I visit Sacramento.

Disappointed & Misled - Not What I Expected from a Wyndham I booked this hotel based on the photos and the Wyndham name, expecting a comfortable stay, but unfortunately, it fell short in nearly every way. When I checked in, the front desk staff was curt, laughed at me for asking for a nice room with a nice view near the pool, and unwelcoming. I was placed on the ground floor next to the main entrance, which meant car headlights beaming into my room all night and the constant sound of revving engines and slamming doors. It didn’t feel safe or restful. Not good for single females, the staff do not welcome or make you feel safe. The room itself was in rough shape. There were leftover makeup supplies and hair under the bed, the walls were scuffed and damaged, and the whole space just felt poorly maintained. Smelly ratty carpet. Blistering moldy pain in bathroom. Peeling pain in the room. Spit and toothpaste left on the sink bowl. Towels were ripped. The photos of the spa and pool area were also very misleading. In reality, the pool and hot tub are directly adjacent to the freeway. You can barely hear yourself think out there, let alone relax, it’s definitely not the peaceful oasis the pictures suggest. Breakfast was just as disappointing, low-quality food in an awkward, cafeteria-like setup. I skipped it. Overall, this place feels like a generic, high-turnover hotel for people with no other options, not what I expected from a Wyndham-branded property. I won’t be returning and would recommend looking elsewhere if you're hoping for comfort, quiet, or even basic hospitality. Stay at a Super8 or budget lodge and it's likely nicer.

If you want a good value for your money that is clean, safe and comfortable, I would look no further than this hotel. I've stayed here twice, and each time, payed around $100 a night. For a rate like that at a full service hotel, this place is hard to beat. Don't go in expecting a luxury hotel - it's showing its age and a little worn. But if you tailor your expectations appropriately, you will be pleasantly surprised. Many places in the Sacramento area that offer prices in this range are crime infested drug dens. Both times I've stated here, I have had a clean, comfortable room and helpful, friendly service. I felt totally secure. Because it is a full service hotel, breakfast isn't free, but there was a reasonably priced buffet in the morning. I will not hesitate to stay here again next time in Sacramento

It an ok location. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff are very nice and helpful. We have stayed here like 10 times or so and highly recommend it. The cost is totally reasonable and you would be hard pressed to find a nice and affordable place as this hotel anywhere near by.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life and I have stayed in some pretty bad ones. They closed off all doors due to homeless and crime except front entrance. The hallways smell of rat feces, the front desk made unauthorized charges to my credit card and had to wait several days to get my funds returned. My TV did not work and the desk was lined up with AC units not working so I consider myself lucky I guess. 1 star for at least making the ice cold. Great job guys! Seriously, they need to shut the doors, fire everyone, and demolish that building and never speak of that hotel for all of eternity. May God have mercy in their soul! Go Kings!

I attended a psychic fair healing event held in the lobby of Wyndham Sacramento. Clean, plain, free of clutter, basic not fancy not a dive. Ample parking in lot and adjacent lot across the street. Main lobby restroom single potty and sink. Additional restrooms with multiple stalls down near conference meeting rooms. ATM machine off lobby. Had no interaction with employees. Did not use rooms or stay here. Went to bar to get a Diet Coke, limited service, limited beverages and only canned regular soda nothing diet. This bar may only be open when there are events; I don't drink alcohol so not sure. It was okay for the event I attended.

Booked a room here through a website. Easy check in process and friendly staff. I was asked for a card for them to swipe for the deposit in case there was any damage to the room. The hotel was clean, elevators were available and no complaints about the noise:) They were only supposed to charge like $50 for the deposit but instead i saw a charge for $171 which was the cost of the room. I was a little bit shocked because we had already paid for the room on a separate card. We had to call the hotel and ask them to refund the second card. It was kinda annoying that we even had to call in the first place because if i wouldnt have checked my account, i wouldve been jipped from $171... YIKES. Overall I recommend staying here cuz the rooms are clean, nice, the beds felt a little small in the room with a double bed but it was fine for my sister and I. However, double check that they're not charging your card extra!

This wasn't the best nor the worst place I've stayed. The problem we had was addressed and we were offered another room. All but one of the employees we interacted with were very nice and accommodating. Did not see any homeless in the parking lot. Would I stay again, maybe.

I wish i booked somewhere else. The door key they gave didn't work second time after i went to the front desk and got the new keys, and it's so annoying when you had to go to front desk and ask your keys. Think about you are not able to enter your room even tough you paid how much they asked and you dealing this after you drove there and felt so tired. That's so annoying. The hotel... means they should have min requirements which including to be able to enter your room which will be your the most basic need when you book a hotel. Ps: the front desk guys is extra annoying by telling and mad at you to not to put your phone close to the keys. Stay away.

We traveled from the Bay Area for a last minute business trip. A 3rd party booked our travel and we didn't question it nor did we research it.... I had to lead with that because we would have NEVA stayed here on our own had we known what the Wyndham was about... You ready? Pros: Staff is sweet and accommodating (front desk, the 2 housekeepers we interacted with, and the gentleman vacuuming were all A++), parking is available, and we concluded that they do NOT have bed bugs. (We ALWAYS do an immediate inspection of hotel room beds before we unpack luggage) We also noticed small upgrades regarding room linens and a couple of restroom fixtures. End scene. Cons (building): Several! But not limited to; sketchy area, German roaches at the entrances of the building, highly visible foundational cracks and peeled paint/wallpaper (everywhere), the lovely scent of never before shampooed carpets WITH questionable stains to boot, a LITERAL puddle of water on the first floor hallway leaking from the 1980s ice machine... just lovely walking through soaked carpet to get to the rooms! Squish squish! Cons (room): lack of ventilation (hits you as SOON as you open the door), disgusting carpet, restroom was in a laughable condition i.e. wall fixtures hanging by a nail, accumulated dust/dirt in corner, tub outdated and unkept. Paper thin walls- heard the neighbor's very private conversations, totally could've taken notes! Lol Bedding was torn- and was HIGHLY visible upon walking into the room, and the ancient ironing board wouldn't stand so we just placed it on the ottoman to utilize. We completely avoided the on-site restaurant and pool/jacuzzi for the accumulative reasons above. Look... no shade to the staff. I completely understand that you can only do so much of your job without the proper supplies, resources etc. It is VERY evident that this is an UPPER MANAGEMENT issue. It's giving no pride, low integrity, lack of leadership and PURE NEGLECT. Wyndham Sacramento, you can do better if you wanted to. Ask the Marriott and Hilton...

Checked in and the first room had a completely broken lock. It seemed relatively clean except for some stains on the carpet - I was wrong. They didn't clean my room & when I asked for towels they brought me one towel. Then I saw a roach crawling up the wall. There was no manager on duty and there still isn't a manager on duty to authorize a refund. This place is disgusting and full of bugs and they know it. They said they try to stay on top of it and spray the rooms when they get these reports. Ok so this isn't the first time. Got it. They couldn't even authorize Priceline to credit me back until someone shows up again on Monday. All I want is my money back and I'm praying no roaches got into my luggage and came back with me from my trip. What a horrible experience.

So my wife was having surgery at UC Davis hospital and I needed a place to stay over night. Everything was sold out near the hospital as a big music festival was happening. We ended up finding this place for $220 for the night. All I can say is what a rip off. I wouldnt pay $50 bucks a night for this place. Let's start with the parking lot. I had to drive around the back as there wasnt parking up front. There were,people living in an old motor home on the property. There were other crappy cars with people just hanging out at 10:00 pm at night. Very sketchy to say the least. I checked in and was put in a room right on the freeway even though the hotel wasnt close to sold out. The interior of this building is old and in need of updating and repair. My room was tiny and had been updated which was a plus. The negatives were the stains on the carpet and the curtain. Looked to me like blood stains. Bed sheets had stains.

Don't judge a book by its lobby cover. But seriously... When you walk into the lobby, your immediate reaction is... oohhh alright! This place may be decent. And that couldn't be any farther from the truth. Like I'm not even kidding. From the grimmy switches to the gross tub mat to the smelly, unclean, ac unit, the stains, the neighborhood, the screws in the window so you can even get fresh air from the mildew ax unit, etc. it's straight toilet water trash. This area is sketch. Want your car broken into. Stay here. Want unclean beds and towels. Stay here. Want to take a shower yet feel dirty the second you touch something. Stay here. I would NOT recommend! PERIOD.

Bring yout own tp shampoo and tools to repair everything. Expect no food in the restaurant and if you are fortunate to have the restaurant open serve your own beverages and busyour own tables and clean them too. Poorly run and poorly maintained. They should be removed from the franchise. Very disappointed in the entire running of this place.

Located by the freeway and next to some car dealerships so didnt think it would be as ghetto as it was. Had high hopes with the nice clean lobby, but that was the only nice thing. Could have looked past the dirty carpet and the old building falling apart. Even ignore the constant smell of weed in the elevator. But we stayed 4 nights and never got room service . Had to keep calling for more bath towels since they only had 2. There were side doors to the hotel that if propped open could be entered at any time. Idk how thats safe for anyone .

The chubby old man with the glasses and the holier than thou attitude, well he is obviously a complete puppet who cannot decipher plain English. Clearly I booked the higher priced "double room" or self described quadruple room" meaning 2 rooms. 4 beds. He said he doesn't have that kind of a room and I said he definitely does have adjoining rooms because I stayed here 20 times. I said if you don't have any available then I'll take a single room. He took a picture of the ad and stepped in the other room and called his boss behind closed doors and then came out and told me they were canceling and I couldn't stay at the hotel. Wtf? I'm never coming back to this place again. It's not even worth it. They advertise rooms with microwaves but you have to call and ask for maintenance to bring you a microwave and they hand it to you at the door. That should tell you what kind of class we're dealing with here. Just because you paint the walls and put a new name on it doesn't mean it's a different place than this shithole it was before the name change.

I setup a table and it has been held here for many years. As long as it has been Crowne Plaza previously. Hotel? I wouldn't know. Never stayed here. For the convention room...it works. Holds 60 tables. They recently opened a back section and now 80 tables due to the popularity of sportscards. Another product boon of a niche hobby. One of many in the "collecting" genre as people were bored and are reliving their childhood or past memories....

Overpriced for an outdated musty smelling hotel with beds that are not comfortable at all. The staff was friendly and helpful but that's not enough to return. In addition you are recommended that you park your vehicle as close to the front entrance and under the light as much as possible due to repeated thefts. The place was stuffy and the Ice maker was broken with a paper note on it directing you to go a floor up for ice. The elevators take forever so you end up just passing on needing ice. I won't stay there again.

Staff was rude while checking in. They took my card down for a $100 deposit with the notion of returning it provided the room was left how I entered it. After 3 days they charged me $115? And never returned it. Had to call the hotel 4 separate times asking what happened and the 3rd time someone named Jimmy hung up on me claiming that I didn't even stay there. Finally reached out to a branch manager and finally received my $115 back ( 2 weeks later). Plus there was "blood" and someone's toy left in the room. I give this experience a thumbs down

One star is too much. Lobby air conditioning broken with outdoor temperature in the 90s rendering lobby and dining rooms over 90 degrees. My room rug was sopping wet as well as dirty and loose. The desk top was not bolted down to the legs and could easily have fallen on my feet and broken them. Toilet paper was stuffed in the fire suppression nozzle nook. The bedside table was carved up and painted over. The women staff at the check-in were polite but dealing with the rude men was ghastly. Every man there of any age called me 'Miss.' A loud pool party went on well after 10pm. Positives: the bed was comfortable and the room air conditioning worked. Don't stay here. Dingy, dirty, peeling wallpaper, mop buckets left in the hall ways. Just a nasty place.

Attended a conference at the hotel, had a three night stay. My colleagues agreed we will not stay here again. Old building, outdated, plaster falling off walls, bathroom fans broken. This used to be a Crown Plaza, now a Wyndham. Does not meet Wyndham standards that I am used to. The conference organizers also said they will not be using this hotel, the tables were not set up, coffee was hours late. We had a suite but do to condition of room we changed to another room. Outdated and noisy, noise from traffic all night.

Here i was thinking that it would get a nicer place for my parents than the LA Quinta Inn across the street with all the homeless just to completely disappointed. First they gave my reservation away to another guest. Then the manager offered an adjoining room to take care of the mistake. Great, nice save only to have my parents woken up by security pounding on the door kicking it yelling "get out you don't have a reservation!!!" Get out we're kicking in the door!!! At midnight!!! My parents are in their 70's!!! And in poor health. They were terrified. My dad explained what the manager had done all he got was an "I'm sorry I was just doing my job." Then their original room, didn't even lock!!! Had it not been for the latch anyone could make their way in. So when I finally spoke with the manager all he offered was 50% off one night. My dad was like no!!! So he said he would take off one night. Total was $236. Fine then they got charged $456 on their bank account. I stayed there for 2 nights for an event that was hosted at hotel. When I was at the event, my room was opened and my wallet and car keys were stolen, police report filed with Sac Sheriffs Dept. I had had issues with door during my stay there and I believe the door didn't close behind me. Someone walked by and grabbed my wallet out of the room (I have a tracker on my wallet to confirm it was stolen and my CCs were hit right away). Also no cameras on my floor to record who went in the room. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful to sort this out but unfortunately management would not even offer a discount as they blamed me for not shutting the door. Spend more money at another safer hotel in better neighborhood. It's not worth the cost. I now have to get a new key FOB among closing all CCs and bank accounts.

This place sucks , we are here with several parties and some of us had food stolen from the door within 3 min of delivery. I unfortunately had bed bugs they had to move me to a different room . This place needs a ton of upgrades to become a Wyndham property. Better security, the rooms are dirty and rust on most of the fixtures the employees are the only good thing about this place . Don't stay on the 1st floor they have had a string of robberies. They come in and kick the doors in take TVs . So far no one was in the rooms . This was per management. My recommendation is to stay somewhere different. Spend the money and feel safer

I'll chalk it up to post Covid related lapse in maintenance. Older building facing two parking lots and in between another building on a large lot. Very confusing energy in planning design and exterior landscaping. Looks like a large motel rather than hotel. Dated carpets wall decor and furniture. Post 1980's. I'm not going back.

no room cleaning or cup replacement or towels for the whole visit. Supposedly on the tv it tells you that and if you ask you can get clean and refreshed. However when I asked it still didn't happen. had to go to Target and buy coffee and hand wash a styrofoam cup. Bar had very poor quality ingredients, couldn't get a decent drink. Restaurant only open for breakfast. Elevator was broken part of the time. Hotel was arranged weird, walked your self to death to get from front desk to elevator or conference rooms. Now anywhere near the quality for the cost. It was worth $50-60 not $150.

honestly the most worst hotel I've ever been at. kept giving us rooms people are using. stains everywhere in the rooms. at first glance in the lobby is very convincing your staying at a good hotel. but your not, tiny brown stuff in drawers, and I'm very sad for the military people staying here disgusting. we are still trying to get a room we've been doing this for the past 2 hours.

We had a man named Steve help us tonight and his customer service was 10/10. He was patient, respectful, and super helpful. You can tell that he cares a lot for the customers, and he is great at his job. We were having troubles with our card and he got it situated and taken care of. If every hotel employee was like this, you guys would have great business. 10/10 rating for Steve!

I got Corona virus, which my test got positive, and I can't make a trip to anywhere, I have to stay at home. Also my parents who live in Sacramento, they're old and I can't put them in risky situation!!! I tried to contact Priceline and hotel to cancel reservations and get refund back, which they refused and they treated me very rude, disrespectful, they used bad words to me. Also the supervisor accused me that I cursed his employee, which I just ask them to help me with situation, which it could happen with anyone. Front desk agent, Mike told me I can come and use my room ?! How ? To spread the virus ? Then if this is the case, this hotel is septic cause that's how they treat their guest, I was waiting for manager on duty or supervisor to call me for 3 hours (which they didn't have anyone to be responsible) , supervisor called me and treated me like trash, and he told me they not refunding my money back. Which I'll contact the manager of hotel (if issue doesn't get solved, I'll to their region and HR) to complain. I'm currently at hospital cause of shortness of breath and other symptoms which supervisor and front desk agent told me it's ok for them that I go stay there!!! Just they want the money and they don't care about people and their guests and employees health. They take the money and steal it. I'm very upset of this situation and horrible customer service, I want my money back at least. Now that I read other reviews, I understand how why they steal money. They only sees money , all the reviews are bad, they don't care of quality and customer service, I NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I wished if I could rate 0 to this fake and fraud business!!! I'm lucky I didn't stay there, then I don't get more trash treatment from this fraud and shady business .

I have seen all the poor reviews. I was a little worried because we had booked a room here convenience... My husband to do a ball card show here. Perhaps the reviews were before Wyndham took over. Our experience was delightful. Our room is clean and spotless; the show was held in a great room as well. It is next to the freeway and there are businesses around, but the area is just fine. Not a bug in sight!!
