We arecenjoying our stay here. The staff are all friendly. Yhe concierges are frienfly snd very heloful. We have had 2 lunches at the W Cafe. Manuel was an excellent host and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The Tropicali restaurant is the breakfast room. The staff there are wonderful. T hey can't do enough to help and remember tiny details to make each guest feel special.

Great service, friendly staff and very clean & comfortable. Convenient to the airport but NOT far away from good restaurants and stores. We stayed at a different hotel on our way in country - we will definitely stay at Wyndham both ways next time!

Very happy with my one night stay here. A comfy and fancy place to put your feet up after arriving in CR- not new or cutting edge, but has the all the amenities you might want from a hotel close to the airport in San José.|The staff goes the extra mile too! Special thanks to Gustavo at the front desk, who went above and beyond so I could keep my beers cold in the room 😁

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and chose it based on the pictures. The hot tubs were decent but the jets were few and far between. We did go in the off season so I’m sure there’s probably some areas that were being worked on but overall this hotel is very out dated and needs refreshing in the rooms and outdoors especially the wade pool by the bar. The restaurants were ok not great. The staff was very kind and helpful especially the bartender at the pool but get there before 6, after that the pool bar is closed.

We stayed here simply to be near the airport for a flight the following day, arrived circa 5pm and left at 9am on the their shuttle the following morning. Diego was very welcoming and friendly, great with the children. However the hotel is very tired. Run down almost. Has a very early 90s vibe and it’s showing its age. Aesthetics aside, our greatest concern was safety - especially if travelling with young children. In the few hours I was there (and awake) i saw exposed electrical sockets, loose wires and most worryingly fall hazards - the low wall in the corridor outside our 3rd floor bedroom had nothing to stop a child climbing on it and falling over the side, similar issue on another wall on the same corridor but in this latter case there was a barrier but it wasn’t very high. In the room itself, there was a window with a low sill level; the window could slide all the way open (2 to 3 foot wide) and open onto a flower bed balcony (which was just earth) and then the three storey drop beyond that. Also in our room were raised nail heads from threshold trims in the floor. The breakfast was by far the worse we had in our 2week stay in CR - poor offering, stale pastries. Overall was disgusting to be frank. Staff (particularly the female member) were unfriendly too. Thankfully breakfast only cost $60 for the 5 of us. The hotel was cheap, $130 for the night (not including breakfast). Stay at your peril!

The 80's called they want their hotel back. It's like going back into time. There is construction going on everywhere, the building is outdated, the room is spacious but outdated. Just look at the bathroom. The view from the room is hideous. Not what I was expecting for a Wyndham hotel. The location itself is great as it's close to the airport but it needs to be renovated, hard.

A great place to have your conference. I came here for a conference last May and it was absolutely amazing. They took very good care of us and it is super close to the airport. Also not far from getting into the city. They have great rooms and facilities with their gym being very nice. Highly recommend it.

United Airlines booked us at this hotel because of a cancelled flight out of SJO. The recently remodeled reception desk & lobby is incredibly deceiving. Beyond the front, it’s like walking into the hotel from The Shining. The rooms & infrastructure haven’t been touched since the 80’s, complete with old carpeted OUTDOOR breezeways. We ended up forgoing this comped stay for someplace else. We left about an hour after checking in to go to the Marriott.
