Wyndham San Jose Herradura Hotel & Convention Center

This hotel was absolutely filthy and in desperate need of a deep cleaning and a complete renovation. The pics used on the website are very misleading and mainly show the lobby which is nice but the rooms and facilities were both extremely dirty and extremely old. The one positive is that the staff was nice but besides that everything was horrible at this hotel. I would never stay here again and I would not recommend anyone stay here. I can’t even say at least it was cheaper because there were other options in the area and better areas that were in the same price range or cheaper. The toilet did not work properly, neither did the air conditioning, the bath tub was filthy, there were spider webs everywhere in the room and it was overall just a bad and disgusting experience. The staff was friendly and the breakfast and restaurant food was good but those are the only positives about my stay. The rooms were filthy, dirty and disgusting and completely out dated. This hotel is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning and an update. Again the rooms were extremely dirty, there were cob webs everywhere, the bathtub was disgusting, the toilet kept running and had to be flushed several times to actually work, the water barely got hot and everything is outdated. Just overall horrible and gross.

The hotel was ok 3 out of 5. Our main review lies within the restaurant Quattro! Our service from Manuel and Pablo was simply outstanding. On point and really felt like 5 star service, thank you so much! Because of you two gentlemen, we will be coming back. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was a delight, we had a tenderloin on a bed a risotto, a fillet of salmon on a bed of cuddle fish inked pasta, and the house pizza, all of which were truly amazing! I would make monthly appearances here if we lived closer, such great service! Thank you gents!

My experience here was great. The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were clean. We had complimentary breakfast which was really good. The hotel is walking distance from a supermarket and McDonald’s and taco bell. The hotel was affordable considering the other hotels around the area.

I came with my husband to celebrate our anniversary at Quattro Restaurant, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding—Emmanuel and Pablo were incredibly attentive and made us feel truly taken care of throughout the evening.|The quality of the food was exceptional, each dish prepared with great flavor and attention to detail. The restaurant itself has been beautifully upgraded; the ambiance is warm, elegant, and perfect for spending time with your partner, friends, or family. It’s a space that feels inviting and special.|We will definitely be coming back.

What a classy hotel with excellent service from the bell staff, reception desk and everyone. A few went above and beyond to make sure I was good: Bernardo wirh bell staff, Randy with room service, and the man that runs the coffee shop. Muchos gracias senors! It is very clean and I am in love with the jacuzzi tub.

The rooms were disgusting. First room was infested with bugs. When asked to move they tried to put us in a room with no working lights and someone was obviously in the bed with room service outside of the door. The final room we decided on was fine… until we were checking the mattresses for bugs and found a bunch of condoms.

When this hotel first opened, I'm sure it was very luxury. However it doesn't appear to have been updated since it opened. Tiles cracked near pool, in the room, old dusty furniture, broken elevator, sauna in room didn't work, plumbing in bathroom ran all night, A/C partially worked, No open outlets by the bed, jacuzzi in room buttons were broken, etc. The main pool needed a major resurfacing and the water was cold. The hot tub was luke warm. The pool side food and drinks were below average. Staff overall not the most friendly. The pool had a sign that said for towels to "Go to reception". We went to reception and the front desk said they didn't have any and to use the ones in our room. We asked if they then had extra room towels so that we had some to shower with after the pool and they said no we had to reuse our pool towels for the shower and the guy didn't seem to care, just shrugged us off. The photos of this place look great in theory but with how run down and with the mediocre staff, you should choose elsewhere.

Wonderful pools and swim up bar in a pretty setting. It's a large facility but easy to get around. Big benefit is shuttle to the airport.
