Wyndham Tortola BVI Lambert Beach Resort

I writing this review with tears in my eyes due to the disrespectful and unprofessional manager at the Wyndham Lambert Beach location. I’ve been a life long Club Wyndham member and I have never received such horrible and crass customer service. I walked into the Wyndham Lambert Beach location on January 8, around 11:30 am in the hopes of hosting my wedding there. There was no line for the check-in and the staff were idle so we waited for someone to help us and neither one of the staff even looked up at us or even greeted us. I had to walk up and introduce myself to a younger staff member who was pleasant and directed me to her manager, (Vita or Gita, no one was wearing name tags so I don’t know the correct spelling of name). When I approached the manager’s desk, I didn’t even receive a greeting or as much as a “good afternoon” or “hello”. It seemed as if I was a burden. When I informed the manager that I was looking to book my wedding here, she curtly replied, “when?” I said. “September 2026.” She said, “We aren’t open then.” I was waiting for her to give me more information but she simply dismissed me after that. I had to ask, “well, what are you operating months?” She responded, as if i was annoying her, “We open back in October”. Again, no follow up information or anything. I asked her if they offered any wedding packages, she said no but I can complete a general inquiry form online. I asked if I could get a tour and she rudely explained that she was waiting for a phone call. I said no problem, I understand the importance of booking appointments and I only stopped by because I was in the area and here on the island for vacation for a limited time. She didn’t offer any alternative dates or times, I had to ask if there was a better date to come back and perhaps look at the property, she said come back the on January 13th. When I asked if she was going to take my name or email or phone number to confirm she said no and just stood there staring at me. She didn’t offer any general next steps or any kind of explanation for her rudeness. She just stood there staring at me like I was bothering her. I kindly said thank you and left. When I got back to my car I felt so ashamed and embarrassed about how I was treated. I was brought to tears. I decided to call and let them know that I was unhappy with the customer service I received and kindly asked if I could have a different staff member give me a tour when return on the 13th. The staff ended up putting the SAME manager on the phone only for her to rudely point me to the general email for Wyndham for my “complaints”. When I explained that I wasn’t complaining, just asking if I could have someone else help me on the 13th she rudely told me off and hung up on me. I’m honestly so hurt because although I live in the United States, I have family that has been on this island for YEARS. Hence why getting married is important to me. I was born and raised in the hospitality industry and NEVER received such harsh and dismissive treatment. I’m truly heart broken because I’ve been a life long Wyndham customer domestically and internationally and always received excellent customer service. I am seriously concerned with the actions of this manager and want to make sure corrective measures will be taken. As a business owner myself, I believe this dismissive and destructive attitude towards members and potential customers is unacceptable and has no place in the hospitality industry. I recently stayed at Wyndham Tortola BVI Lambert Beach Resort and had a truly enjoyable experience. The property is beautiful — the beach is stunning, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the entire staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Their warm attitude really made my stay memorable. That said, I would love to see the resort take the next step toward a full “resort experience.” The lounge chairs on the beach could use an upgrade, and it would be fantastic to have beach service for drinks and snacks — similar to what other top Caribbean resorts offer. It would elevate the guest experience tremendously. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return. With a few small improvements, this resort could easily become a true 5-star destination in the BVI.

Perfect Birthday Getaway at Wyndham Tortola BVI Lambert Beach 🌴✨||I will start with it was definitely a bit challenging to locate but worth the journey! We stayed one night at Wyndham Tortola BVI Lambert Beach to celebrate my birthday, and it was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We had dinner at the Turtle Restaurant, and every dish was delicious — from start to finish. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the evening feel extra special.||The beach was stunning, especially at sunset — the views were breathtaking and peaceful. Even though our stay was short, it felt like a true escape. I’d definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway in the BVI. Can’t wait to return! You won’t be disappointed!

The rooms were clean and serviced during our stay, though there is a sterile feeling to the rooms. Not even simple artwork was displayed. A/C worked great. ||||The staff (servers) in the restaurant were super friendly. Food variety in the restaurant was good and the prices were reasonable. Food was pretty good, we ate breakfast and a couple of dinners there. The wine selection was quite limited. ||||I wouldn't say the reception staff was all that friendly and warm upon check-in or check-out, had an apathetic vibe. ||||Super close to the airport, which allowed us to have a relaxing morning before checking out. ||||The "gym facility" wasn't very good. There were zero free weights, no towels, no water, and in such a tight room there wasn't enough space to properly stretch and do core work. On top of that, you have to ask for the 1 key kept at the reception desk. So if you're looking to workout early in the morning, the only staff there is a cleaning crew who weren't very helpful. One man vaguely pointed me towards a random building. It was the wrong building. A landscaping person came over and walked me more towards the gym, but I was still left with him pointing in the direction, but didn't walk me there. Which led me ending up at another wrong building. ||||We were there for work, but I would recommend it to others. Beautiful property. Very peaceful/quiet. Great beach to walk. Surf is a little rough especially when there's a North swell, not sure how much fun/safe it would be to swim there. But there's a large pool on site.

Absolutely wonderful wonderful stay here for our Christmas vacation. The restaurant, the rooms, the beach, all great, but what really makes this place the best is the people. Make sure to book a massage. Also a special thank you to Shazz and John from the Turtle restaurant. They make us feel like family every stay. Make sure to stop by the little gift shop. Picked up a great sun shirt and some souvenirs for the family. Thanks again, we will definitely be back!

Stayed for three days in Mid-December 2025. Beautiful location with a beach with very few people on it. We were in a room on the front row. You can't see the beach due to the mangroves, but you can hear it. Rooms were nice and functional with comfortable beds. We mostly ate at the restaurant since it is a bit of a drive to Road Town or other restaurants. Restaurant was good not great. Most of the staff were friendly. I would definitely go back. I enjoyed the solitude and views.

The beach was beautiful, especially at sunset — such a peaceful and relaxing spot. This is a private beach! You couldn’t ask for more. Even though we only stayed one night, it felt really special. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

We stayed for one night after a recent BVIs sailing trip. We've stayed all over Tortola over the past few years, and the Wyndham was the best so far. Nice staff, arranged an early check-in for us (as we arrived mid-morning after our sail); the staff was very helpful with many things during our stay. Our room was nice, very comfortable and clean. The beach is really nice, quiet and beautiful. We also hung out at the pool a bit, also very nice. ||The bars and restaurants were good too! We had drinks at both bars, delicious, and the bartenders were very helpful with low-carb cocktails! We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant... service was good, attentive and efficient. The food was very good as well, representative of the "islands" cuisine. We would definitely stay there again.
