Xanadu Main Beach Resort

Love this place. It is quiet, away from Surfers Paradise but close enough if you want to visit. Lovely cafes & restaurants within easy walking distance as well as the Surf Club which have great meals and excellent service. The views from the apartment were just lovely, being across the road from the beach. Facilities at Xanadu are great, heated indoor pool as well as pickle ball and tennis. Everything was perfect for our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Xanadu in Main Beach, QLD. The ocean views were breathtaking and could be enjoyed right from the comfort of the spacious, well-designed two-bedroom apartment…we even saw the whales from our balcony on the 21st floor! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well set out. The indoor pool and spa are a bonus, especially in the cooler months. Close to amazing restaurants and cafés on Tedder Avenue, and public transport. Easy access to the beach across the road and close to Sea World.||What really made our experience special was the wonderful hospitality from the apartment managers and the friendly staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing extra supplies and delicious cookies as a thank you for being return guests. It’s those personal touches that make all the difference! ||We can’t wait to stay at Xanadu again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay on the Gold Coast.

Caroline & I booked our stay at Xanadu for one week at the end of August 2025. Very pleased with the size and comfort of the apartment, the amenities at the resort, the cleanliness all round and the friendliness of the staff. It would have been a 5 star rating but for the construction work going on next door - with a tower crane right in line with our balcony!

We had the most amazing stay at Xanadu Main Beach Resort in April 2025. The staff were friendly and helpful, directing us to the basement carpark with ease. The rooms were lovely! So well appointed, comfortable - they had everything a family of 4 needed while on holiday. It was clean and tidy, and felt like an upmarket home away from home. The pools, spa & gym were a great addition to our stay, and we took advantage of the pools every day we were there, regardless of the weather. The communication before we arrived was excellent, and I honestly can't rate this resort high enough. Thank you so much for a brilliant stay, we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, well appointed and very importantly the beds were Comfortable! It had a great view of the ocean and was in a very good location close to the beach and Tedder Street which has a great selection of restaurants and cafes. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely don’t go anywhere else !!!! |Stunning views , fabulous location across from the beach . Sunrises and full moons incredible . 5 min walk to some of the best restaurants and coffee shops on the Gold Coast . |Senza Nome , Thai Eatery and the fabulous Le Jardin coffee house. Nothing like this in Bris , Syd or Melb !!! Xanadu Management incredible . Tony and Grace run a first class resort . |I’m sure their dedication should be bottled . |House keeping do an incredible job . Apts have wonderful balconies . |We enjoyed Bubbles on the Balcony watching the whales head north .|Carla and her team at reception go out of their way to make your holiday in all aspects , fabulous. This place is amazing we stayed 3 weeks . Grounds newly redone . Fabulous pool / barbecue facilities. Just to walk around the resort is very relaxing , beautiful well kept gardens , quiet facilities . Tennis courts , pickleball , indoor and outdoor pool .|We booked for 3 weeks next year . We had booked directly through the Xanadu website, & subsequent phone & email enquiries were responded to quickly. We booked an early check in which we were advised was not available the day before we arrived, however on the day we got an email to say our room was ready around lunchtime, which was great as we were driving down from Brisbane Airport.||We were in an apartment on the 12th floor, in general it was very good, but the bathrooms were a bit dated which is the only negative we have, The view from the apartment was great, and we could see the the whales splashing offshore. The apartment gets lots of sunshine, the balcony was great to sit and relax on the chairs or sun lounger.||Car parking in the basement was good, plenty of space in our allocated spot. The Xanadu staff are really nice, and very helpful too. The accomodation is also only a 5 minute walk away from Tedder Avenue, where there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hotshotts for breakfast, and Xenia Greek restaurant for lunch & dinner are both highly recommended!||We would definitely go back to the Xanadu, the only thing we’d change would be for a fully updated apartment.

Xanadu is perhaps the best seaside apartment I have stayed in in Australia. Apartment 134 in the north tower was extremely spacious, modern and comfortable, and had excellent views.|You are a 2 minute walk to the beach, and both 5 minutes to the excellent restaurants/cafes of Tedder Avenue and the Southport Surf Club.|The booking process, communications, and check in were all very good.|It is more expensive than most other apartments in the area, but worth it for the excellent location and standard of the accommodation.
