Xanadu Main Beach Resort

We had an excellent stay at Xanadu. This year I paid extra to stay higher up in North Tower and it was well worth it. A fabulous apartment with a beautifully appointed furniture package and layout. A really beautiful apartment in which to stay. The improvements at Xanadu are excellent and enhance the property. Lovely staff who could not do enough for you. Thoroughly recommend Xanadu.

Huge apartment, well appointed and newly decorated. The lounge was very comfortable. Loved the location . Only negative was the major driveway remodelling,which was very noisy. I believe it's been going on for a year. Will be good when it's finished

December 2024. |Bad start and wouldn’t want anyone else to get the fright that we experienced!||The Xanadu Main Beach Resort is under Major outdoor construction. |The outdoor pool, barbecue area, 90% of the exterior is under Heavy construction so if you want a resort type experience, you won’t get it in its entirety.||We booked through Agoda, owned by Expedia and got the email only two days before arriving, that there was outdoor construction at the Xanadu in progress. That’s right, two days notice. We spoke to the manager and the staff on reception and they seemed confused. |The staff were professional, courteous and well trained and explained that they had sent messages that they had major outdoor works occurring, to Agoda, but that message was not passed on, until two days before arrival. ||Some work is required with hoteliers and third party accommodation sites, like Agoda and Expedia to make all communications transparent.||Although the outdoor pool was under construction, they did have a small indoor pool.|We have children and they love outdoor pools. A solution, to provide customers with an outdoor pool, would be to make a deal with the numerous other resorts/apartments in the area and allow Xanadu customers the option of using their outdoor pools.||The apartment overlooking the beach was amazing and the amenities in the apartment was excellent.||Xanadu is close to the beach and walking distance to the shops and restaurants.||On one of our nights we suffered on going multiple power outages in the building, approximately six. This prompted us to leave the apartment with the children and visit one of the local eateries.||Staff 5/5|Apartment 5/5|Gym 3/5|Indoor pool 2/5|Parking 5/5|Cleanliness 5/5||Overall experience, 4/5 is a fair reflection.||I have contacted Agoda several times. Their Bots give polite replies. It has been almost two weeks and there has been no ‘human’ reply. |In conclusion, Agoda and Expedia if you have a human handy, I would love to talk to you.|Hoteliers, push for more transparency directly to the customer.||Thank you.

We have stayed here a number of times now and have always had a wonderful time. Units are always very clean, fantastic location, staff are accommodating to requests we made on a last minute booking, amenities are all good too. We always research other places to stay but always end up back here, for what you get for the price you can’t beat it.

Xanadu is by far the best place to stay on all of the Gold Coast, quieter than the busiest areas but still easy to access the monorail to travel to the big shopping centres. There are the best dining and coffee shops a few blocks away as well as boutique shops, doctor, chemist and a supermarket with a bottle shop. The apartment was very spacious with every item you need, tv’s in living and both bedrooms, super comfy king bed main and double &single in 2nd bedroom all with the best linen. We stayed on the 22nd level in the east tower the views were amazing even with the crane working next door (which keep my husband, son and grandson entertained). They were still working on the upgrading so we couldn’t use the outdoor pool but that didn’t bother us because it rained at times and we still had the indoor pool and spa’s which we all enjoyed. Everything is so spotless incredible new gardens and the office staff were so helpful and polite and the manager was always busy caring for everyone even when we had a blackout. Will definitely will be back again and recommend this place to everyone.

Great communication upfront regarding the construction works so we were not surprised when we arrived. this is the benefit of booking direct with the complex not using other sites.|We stayed in apartment 53 on 19th floor of East tower and it was great with amazing views.|The fitout was modern whilst being very light, airy and coastal.|We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the fact that you are out of the rat race that is Surfers or Broadbeach.

A lovely, well located high rise resort. We enjoyed Magical views from a high floor and both bedrooms offered fantastic ocean views. The apartment had everything we needed and we loved walking down to Tedder St, where there are several cafe and restaurant options. This resort is located in a great spot with easy access to trams and buses to get you anywhere you want to go if you don’t have a car. We were there while works were being done to the pool and outdoor areas. Once complete, this place will be even more fabulous.

Gorgeous place, unreal location and quaint. |The views were the most enjoyable having two separate balconies was superb. The atmosphere, only being a few kilometres from Surfers really was a surprise, it was quiet and chilled. We will definitely recommend this place and visit again!
