Delicious food. The wine tasting staff were lovely and knew their stuff. The service in the restaurant was good but a bit confused (3 different staff trying to keep track of a table of 3 people). It was 50min between entree and main so don't go if you are on a tight schedule. (Also, don't let them talk you into getting a side to share unless you are a big eater 😅)

Firstly, we enjoyed a great cellar door experience and sampled some fantastic expressions of the Margaret River terroir. Then, we had 2 courses in their restaurant and WOW. The food quality and presentation was nothing short of brilliant. Staff were engaging and attentive. Awesome experience had by us both.

WOW !! Our first visit, definitely not our last, I’m already planning the next luncheon. What can I say but 10/10 on every level, we did the wine tasting prior to lunch, staff super friendly, fun, engaging and so much knowledge they know their wines and the history behind them all, felt very confident with their recommendations. Lunch is a whole other level of service & experience from the moment you walk in that door to being seated you are in for a treat, I was made to feel welcomed & embraced making you feel special. The menu is to die for its fine dinning 5 star 🌟 we chose different dishes to get an overall experience we opted for the 3 course menu 2 bottles of wine later we were wishing they had accomodation on offer. We visit the greater Sth West, Fergusson Valley, Margaret river region of WA regularly and Xanadu has truely blown everyone else out of the ball park. We will be back for my 65th mid December looking forward to trying out your 6 course degustation experience Thank you very much

Xanadu you never fail to serve the most delicious food. We had a table of 5 and chose the 3 course menu, we mostly ordered different dishes so got to see and sample most dishes. Every dish was not only divine they were a feast for your eyes. The service was first class as was your superb wine! We enjoyed our wine tasting before lunch so knew what we were going to oder with our lunch. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wow. What an outstanding experience. I was served by Libby for a fabulous tasting (purchasing a few bottles, very good wine) followed by the most amazing three course lunch. I greatly appreciated the option to go vegan and it was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had to date. The staff in the restaurant are also so wonderful, professional and friendly. I treated myself there to celebrate a special occasion for myself and was grateful to have such a nice time. Thanks everyone! Elizabeth

We were treated like VIPs for our 25th wedding anniversary and double birthday week. Thank you to the wonderful staff, chef and kitchen team for a memorable experience. We simply cannot rate the food and care highly enough. The ambience, fire and architecture speak for themselves, but the wine cannot (apart from its awards) so also deserves a mention...first class. We should also mention that the price of purchasing a bottle of wine in the restaurant is incredibly reasonable. Well done to the team for celebrating wine, food, service and atmosphere in such an holistic way. Thank you, and we will see you next year if not before, a new annual tradition!

We had a wonderful experience at Xanadu celebrating my Birthday. From the charming buildings & grounds to the free wine tastings included with lunch, it was delightful. Lunch was beautiful and the staff were professional and always smiling. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

✅The wines were good and definitely good for its price point. Staff were friendly and happy to share information. Zero pressure to purchase, but given the wine was this nice - they didn’t need to. Had preferred the reds. The place had a nice drive way leading in - lovely for pictures too.

We had a great tasting experience here. Kate waited on us and we had great conversation. Mostly premium wines. The three dessert wines at the end were the best. I really liked the fortified Shiraz dessert wine. Very big tasting room and beautiful restaurant.

The attention to the customer at both the wine tasting and the restaurant is top notch. We were informed about specials and inclusions at both; the staff were extremely friendly and attentive - which made the visit all the better. The food from the restaurant was both original and tasty; and the serving portions excellent for the price. I will be back on future trips to Margaret River region.

My fiancé and I went here initially to speak with the event manager to scope it out as a possible wedding venue. Katie was very professional, welcoming and clearly a credit to the business. We dined in the restaurant for lunch and we were very happy with the food and menu options. The beef was amazing and even the kids chicken nuggets were 100% chicken with an amazing crispy batter (the kids meals alone were 5 stars). The fireplace is clearly the big winner here as it's placed in the centre of the restaurant where you can feel the warmth all around the room. Excellent place to hold a wedding in my opinion.

So on the weekend we went to 7 doors to do some tasting and purchase. At this one the lady telling us about their wines was the rudest shop person i have come across. When we had told her that we wanted to try a particular wine she said, why would you want to try a $30 wine when you dodn't like the $60 wine. UMMMMM. Are you kidding me?? And that was just the beginning. We purchased a bottle each, for her time, and then went on to 6 other doors. We came home with 9 dozen. I tweeted, I facebooked and let my wedding planner friends know. Word of advice, if you arent a people person, think about becoming a dog walker. BLOOP

Having enjoyed a relaxed tasting and committed to a few of our favourite whites, while Ms 3yo buzzed back and forth to the excellent covered playground, our little tribe approached the fancy looking restaurant with some trepidation. However the super relaxed and friendly staff welcomed us and offered our daughter the kids' menu and colouring pencils, and before we knew it we were spread out in the breezy courtyard indulging in the seasonal tasting plate, updated daily, including sumptuous chicken liver pate, pulled pork terrine, aged hard cheddar and assorted mouth watering condiments. Local wine and craft beer to complement. And icecream and topping for the lady, of course. All in all an oasis of relaxed quality dining with service to suit.

Great wines. Not so great staff. Total snobs, and they have no idea of what their clientele might buy. We would have bought 10x but chose to spend our dollars elsewhere after their poor service.

Very poor service at the cellar door. Was offered 1 taste and forgotten about. Ended up walking out. Did not feel welcomed at all. Won't be back. There's plenty of better spots in Margaret river
