Wow. What an outstanding experience. I was served by Libby for a fabulous tasting (purchasing a few bottles, very good wine) followed by the most amazing three course lunch. I greatly appreciated the option to go vegan and it was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had to date. The staff in the restaurant are also so wonderful, professional and friendly. I treated myself there to celebrate a special occasion for myself and was grateful to have such a nice time. Thanks everyone! Elizabeth

We had a wonderful experience at Xanadu celebrating my Birthday. From the charming buildings & grounds to the free wine tastings included with lunch, it was delightful. Lunch was beautiful and the staff were professional and always smiling. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Visited to try their lunch menus, food was pretty alright with most of the dishes being just above average. However the team were really friendly and accommodating as we came with a group of 7 adults and 2 kids. They even provided some colouring materials for the kids! Wines were delicious as well, had a bottle of their cab sav and rose. Would recommend giving their cellar door a visit but would skip the lunch.

We loved our long lunch at Xanadu Winery today! Our experience started with wine tastings at the cellar door, where we sampled a variety of delicious wines. We then ambled across the beautiful gardens into the lovely restaurant, and feasted on the 6 course tasting menu. Every course was a winner and we walked away smiling and very full. The service was excellent and the staff were all super friendly. Thank you to the team for a lovely experience.

A lovely experience at Xanadu celebrating mine and my moms birthday. Our first 2 courses were good (sadly the lamb was tough and overall flavours were flat and a little confusing). However our dessert and cheese plate was divine! The perfect substitute for a birthday cake, and shoutout to Camille for making it extra special coming out with an extra candle. The overall space is just gorgeous, perfect for a date night or leuisurely wine tasting. Staff were warm, attentive and very knowledgeable. Well worth the visit if you are in Margs.

5th December 2024 - We booked a lunch here and very glad we did. Before lunch we had a spontaneous tasting of some of the wines and they were our first taste of Margaret River wines - very nice. Lunch was very elegant and delicious and we were very spoilt with service. My wife absolutely loved the asparagus and pea ravioli. The ambience of the place suited the fine dining we were experiencing. Located on well manicured grounds the whole experience was fantastic. It felt very isolated in geography but well worth the drive.

Really nice service and nice scenery. Tried the $15 wine tasting which had 5 different wines. Next time I would probably go for the $30 wine tasting as they had some nicer wines on that list. The wine tasting is free if you buy a bottle. Would recommend.

We had a great tasting experience here. Kate waited on us and we had great conversation. Mostly premium wines. The three dessert wines at the end were the best. I really liked the fortified Shiraz dessert wine. Very big tasting room and beautiful restaurant.

The attention to the customer at both the wine tasting and the restaurant is top notch. We were informed about specials and inclusions at both; the staff were extremely friendly and attentive - which made the visit all the better. The food from the restaurant was both original and tasty; and the serving portions excellent for the price. I will be back on future trips to Margaret River region.

My fiancé and I went here initially to speak with the event manager to scope it out as a possible wedding venue. Katie was very professional, welcoming and clearly a credit to the business. We dined in the restaurant for lunch and we were very happy with the food and menu options. The beef was amazing and even the kids chicken nuggets were 100% chicken with an amazing crispy batter (the kids meals alone were 5 stars). The fireplace is clearly the big winner here as it's placed in the centre of the restaurant where you can feel the warmth all around the room. Excellent place to hold a wedding in my opinion.

So on the weekend we went to 7 doors to do some tasting and purchase. At this one the lady telling us about their wines was the rudest shop person i have come across. When we had told her that we wanted to try a particular wine she said, why would you want to try a $30 wine when you dodn't like the $60 wine. UMMMMM. Are you kidding me?? And that was just the beginning. We purchased a bottle each, for her time, and then went on to 6 other doors. We came home with 9 dozen. I tweeted, I facebooked and let my wedding planner friends know. Word of advice, if you arent a people person, think about becoming a dog walker. BLOOP

Great cellar door to stock up. But great to stay with a bottle of wine, cheese platter and lawn bowls.

Having enjoyed a relaxed tasting and committed to a few of our favourite whites, while Ms 3yo buzzed back and forth to the excellent covered playground, our little tribe approached the fancy looking restaurant with some trepidation. However the super relaxed and friendly staff welcomed us and offered our daughter the kids' menu and colouring pencils, and before we knew it we were spread out in the breezy courtyard indulging in the seasonal tasting plate, updated daily, including sumptuous chicken liver pate, pulled pork terrine, aged hard cheddar and assorted mouth watering condiments. Local wine and craft beer to complement. And icecream and topping for the lady, of course. All in all an oasis of relaxed quality dining with service to suit.

Great wines. Not so great staff. Total snobs, and they have no idea of what their clientele might buy. We would have bought 10x but chose to spend our dollars elsewhere after their poor service.

Very poor service at the cellar door. Was offered 1 taste and forgotten about. Ended up walking out. Did not feel welcomed at all. Won't be back. There's plenty of better spots in Margaret river
