San Francisco’s Hottest New Restaurants, November 2024

"Xebec is a new restaurant “where the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean meet the refined techniques of Japanese cuisine,” as its Instagram states. As such, expect crossovers at various points in the menu, such as the restaurant’s Mediterranean Japanese sea bar, which features items such as hamachi sashimi with green olive tapenade and citrus supremes, or the uni-risotto arancini with ginger kumquat dipping sauce. There’s also a fresh list of cocktails to order, such as the Return of the Sumac, which pairs mezcal and cream sherry with sumac bianco vermouth." - Dianne de Guzman, Lauren Saria

San Francisco’s New Restaurant Openings

"In what might be a first for SF, Xebec is a Mediterranean-Japanese restaurant in Hayes Valley. This place is fancy, with a full bar and a setting that looks apt for dinner before catching the ballet. The menu seems a bit chaotic with dishes like a salmon rillette with togarashi, uni risotto arancini with a kumquat dipping sauce, and a lamb burger with Moroccan carrots and wasabi aioli. They’ve even got a whole section of the menu entitled “Mediterranean Japanese Sea Bar'' with a ceviche served with rice crackers that they’re calling “Xeviche.”" - ricky rodriguez

Xebec came highly recommended, but my experience didn’t live up to the hype. For a 7pm reservation, they were already out of oysters, which was the first red flag. We pivoted to a selection of appetizers and shared plates since none of the entrées looked particularly appealing. The Wagyu Bruschetta was underwhelming—while it’s supposed to highlight high-end ingredients, the beef was sliced so thinly it was nearly flavorless, and the supplement overpowered what little Wagyu was there. The Uni Risotto didn’t deliver either—I couldn’t detect any uni flavor at all. The hand roll tasted like a plain veggie roll, with no trace of seafood. The octopus lacked any flavors or texture that would make it stand out, and the ceviche was a low point: stale rice crackers and indistinguishable seafood that made it hard to even tell what I was eating. The only dish that landed was the sashimi, which was decent, though nothing exceptional. My advice? Don’t take “Japanese-Mexican-Mediterranean fusion” too literally. Japanese cuisine shines in its clarity and restraint, allowing quality ingredients to speak for themselves. At Xebec, competing flavors and overly fussy concepts ended up drowning out what should have been the stars of the plate. Service was good.

Grabbed some appetizers before concert. Food was decent, combination of Latin American and Japanese. Definitely interesting to try. Seafood was very fresh. Presentation definitely elegant and pleasant. Be aware that the entrance looks like a hotel. Easy to miss. The service was attentive but when I finished meal and plan to pay cash, I was told there is no change available. Very strange for a restaurant located in a decent neighborhood.

Dined here with my girlfriend last Wednesday for her birthday and everything was SO good! All the dishes exceeded my expectations - everything was incredibly fresh and prepared with care. You could taste the quality and the dishes were flavorful, cooked perfectly and unique. My favorite was the ceviche with handmade crackers which was super fresh and bright. All the ingredients are prepared separately and only put together to order. The uni risotto with peach sauce was perfectly complimentary and the cauliflower with harissa was perfectly balanced. The homemade apple tart was not overly sweet and was also so good! The chef who I believe is the owner came out to talk to all the tables several times and even got us a round of drinks to thank us for coming when he found out it was my friend’s birthday. Not to mention the drinks are delicious!! I was also pleasantly surprised at the prices here compared to other places in the city. It is a great addition to Hayes and truly a gem for the quality. Can’t wait to go back! Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 Food - 5/5

Chose this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a great choice. The atmosphere was cozy, and it had a positive vibe. Our server was attentive. The staff refilled our water several times without us having to ask. The food was plated well, and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the potatoes, sushito peppers, hamachi sashimi, Chilean sea bass, and the papardelle pasta. The flowers gin cocktail was tasty. They gave us a hand signed anniversay card & ice cream! That was a nice surprise! We'd visit this restaurant again to try other appetizers and entrees. I'd recommend going to this restaurant. Thank you Xebec.

Google
Delicious! We ordered a bunch of starters and split a main dish. That way we could try a bunch. Everything was fresh and had a mix of flavors. They have a small wine menu. However, I love their creative craft cocktails! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive- which is a nice change of pace. 😀 My only nitpicky thing is that the bathrooms are small. There’s no place to place your purse or hang up your jacket. But if that’s my only complaint, I’d call the place a win!

Brunch at Xebec is nothing short of amazing! From the perfectly poached Xebec Benedict with its rich, velvety hollandaise to the fluffy pancakes and expertly brewed coffee, every bite is a treat. The warm, inviting ambiance and attentive service make it the perfect spot to relax and indulge. Whether you're in the mood for something savory or sweet, Xebec delivers a flawless brunch experience. A must-visit!

My friend and I dined at the bar last Friday night, and despite the restaurant being busy, the food and service were impeccable. We enjoyed perfectly crafted Xebec margaritas and shared the delicious patatas bravas, an insanely good kale salad with fresh tuna, and a must-try sea bass dish. The portions were generous, leaving us happily full from these shared plates. It’s a gorgeous restaurant with a beautiful private room AND parking was easy in this part of Hayes Valley, so there’s really no excuse not to give Xebec a try!

Google
This restaurant on Gough Street in San Francisco is a culinary playground where Mediterranean warmth meets Japanese elegance. Recommended by a friend, my first visit was so impressive that I’m already planning my return. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty, with impeccable service that made every part of the experience unforgettable. The spotlessly clean restaurant and meticulous attention to detail were evident in everything from the decor to the food. The menu skillfully marries Japanese and Mediterranean flavors with both elegance and boldness. Each dish was a unique fusion, pushing the boundaries of both cuisines in taste and presentation. The decor managed to strike a perfect balance between cozy charm and Michelin-star sophistication. What truly stood out was the genuine warmth of the owners, who clearly pour their hearts into crafting a memorable culinary experience. I’m spreading the word about this gem and can’t wait to return for more.

Yelp
Amazing fusion delicacies, lovely service and cute space. The only complaint was the size of the table which was a tad small for four. Our server was knowledgeable and the staff was very attentive. My favorite appetizer was the shrimp ravioli and the eggplant roll, so delicious. The beef lamb burger was really delicious and whatever they put on the potatoes should be bottled and sold. Alas, the dessert was hit and miss, apparently you are into it or not. I loved the honey pistachio rose flavors, but the actual delicacy's texture was a no for me. I recommend going with a group of people to taste a variety of dishes.

Yelp
We went to the Valentine's prix fixe; the food was good but the service was very poor. We were seated quickly but did not see a server for 20 minutes; it was 45 minutes before our first dish came out. Of the five dishes on the menu, the first three then came within 10 minutes of each other (out of order, and we had to grab a waiter to let them know we were missing a dish). Then there was another drought of about 45 minutes until our last two dishes arrived. Our waiter/server never checked in with us, and honestly we barely saw him on the floor the entire night. Foodwise, everything but the dessert was very tasty. The grilled sea bass and miso short ribs were particularly good. Service was terrible, though, especially for a night like Valentine's when you are hoping for something a little nicer.

Yelp
My friend and I came in for drinks the other night. This is a new Japanese/Mediterranean fusion spot in Hayes. Right off the bat I noticed the beautiful interior decor. Appreciate the thought that was put into it. Such a cozy and chic vibe. We ordered the flowers not fists and the return of the sumac for our cocktails. Shoutout to our amazing bartender, Amir, who did not disappoint with making our cocktails. They were amazing! We also ordered the ceviche which was delicious. We really liked the Japanese crackers that came with it. I will definitely have to come back and try more of their food items next time.

Yelp
Feeling generous and rounding up to 4 stars. Nice new Mediterranean fusion place in busy Hayes Valley that makes you feel like you're in someone's cozy home. Service was warm and bartenders were friendly and on top of it. The food had some hits and misses. It started out strong with the Italian Eggplant Parcel appetizer, which was a warm appetizer and was very delicious! I'd definitely order again. For the main course, we tried the lamb/beef burger that came with choice of salad or potato bravas and the pasta with miso cream. The burger was quite tasty, very juicy and good portion. The potato bravas was a standout and you can order that on the appetizer menu too. Now, the pasta on the other hand might have been THE worst and most tasteless pasta I have ever had, including what I make myself! You couldn't taste the miso or cream and it was rather watery. There was also no flavor or salt. The only thing I can think of is that there are a lot of older patrons dining here before/after opera and symphony that they have this no-sodium option? I don't know, I'm trying to think of why it could be this tasteless. You know it's bad when the bartender brings you salt/pepper when they bring you the dish! Anyways, wish the waiter would have warned us and now consider yourself warned. Dinner for 2 with 2 drinks will run to $150-$200. Not sure I'll be looking to come back anytime soon.

Yelp
Delicious food, very interesting flavors. I love how attentive the service is. The ambience is great too, absolutely lovely living room feel, cosy and chic space. We liked the eggplant, the burger with potato, the ceviche, not quite into the cauliflower.

Yelp
Rounding up from a 3.5~ I came here with a few friends on a thursday night and it was super busy! We arrived a few minutes before our reservation but had to wait about 15-20 minutes before we could be seated. I think my favorite part about the restaurant was the modern chic interior and the vibe! We ordered a few dishes to try and though presentation was great, we felt the flavors were just okay and not necessarily impressive.

Yelp
We had tons of small plates and really yummy drinks! I would definitely recommend this spot, it's small and has a modern but cozy vibe to it!

Yelp
I dined at Xebec SF with friends, and it's clear this new spot is already making waves in the SF dining scene. The ambiance is chic and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable night out. We started with the patatas bravas, which were perfectly crispy, and the prawn ravioli, which was elevated by a warm dashi ponzu sauce. Unfortunately, the uni arancini didn't quite hit the mark; the subtle uni flavor got lost among the other ingredients. For mains, the seafood linguine was a standout, featuring a spicy tomato broth and fresh seafood that really delivered. The skirt steak was also impressive, cooked medium well, it was tender and flavorful without feeling too heavy. Both dishes had just the right portion sizes, making the meal satisfying without overdoing it. Service was a highlight, thanks to our server Paulette, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Her attentive and friendly demeanor truly added to the evening. Overall, Xebec SF is off to a strong start and definitely worth checking out. I'm already planning my next visit!

Yelp
Xebec was a great restaurant find! My friend and I came here for Friday dinner and we were both very impressed by the food and the service. We went with our waiter's recommendations - Xeviche, mussels, roasted cauliflower and Uni Arancini as appetizers, split lamb burgers with patatas bravas and sea bass as our entrees and the halawet el-jiben as our dessert. The sea bass was just outstanding and was the highlight of the meal for me. The halawet was a very unique dessert and i highly recommend that as well. The restaurant is nice and modern. With tax and tip, this was around $110 per person which is tremendous value for what we got. Highly, highly recommended!!!

Yelp
Great find for the middle of the week! A twist of modern Japanese. Tastes were exquisitely surprising. Small portions that fill you up just right. Service is nice and friendly. Our server made the right suggestions for us. So many to choose from so we def have to come back. The feel of the place is very cozy with a home feel but classy. Loved it! What an amazing experience.

Yelp
A new addition to the Hayes Valley restaurant scene, xebec has a charming ambiance and friendly staff, BUT its culinary offerings left much to be desired. I saw marketing on yelp and the promise of creative Japanese/Mediterranean seafood dishes, so I was eager to give it a try, but unfortunately I left feeling underwhelmed. We sampled a variety of appetizers: patatas bravas, eggplant parcels, prawn ravioli, oysters on the half shell, ceviche, among others. And each dish fell short of expectations. Despite enthusiastic recommendations from our waiter, the eggplant and ravioli were particularly disappointing. The eggplant was bland and lacked seasoning, while the prawn ravioli was overcooked and devoid of flavor. The oysters, which should have briny freshness, were lackluster, and the ceviche did not have much fish. Even the patatas bravas, typically a crowd-pleaser, lacked crispiness and was not shareable bc the portion size was tiny. While none of the dishes were inedible, they were decidedly mediocre. The disparity between the quality and value was evident, making it hard to justify the cost. On a positive note, the cocktails were well-crafted and the wine reasonably priced. Xebec has potential, and I genuinely hope to see it evolve into a standout spot in the future.

Yelp
Three of us gals went here just before the ballet on Valentine's Day and because it was Valentine's Day, there was only the fixed price menu available to us (at $95 pp). The food was very good but the service was below average. We had ordered the wine pairing for an extra $50 pp and the first 2 pairings were forgotten until I had to ask the hostess and manager to step in. Once they did, the staff obliged for the next 3 pairings. The bill per person with 2 cocktails added was $180 pp before tip. I have had remarkable meals for that price and I'd say this meal was good just not great. Mind you, my friend who chose the place had been before when the regular menu was available and she said it WAS great. I'll give them another try.

Yelp
Yum! Came here for dinner and could not decide what to order, everything sounded phenomenal. Our server Allen was helpful and we started with the uni arancini bites, the ceviche and the fried brie. The ceviche was special. I highly recommend that. It was very flavorful and delicious. The Brie was good but a tiny portion. The arancini were small but tasty. We ordered the spicy tuna rolls and the lamb burger as mains. The apple tart with matcha to finish

Yelp
The food is amazing! Very tasty and worth the money to be honest and the experience.. highly recommended and also the service was amazing! It feels like everyone there is so so nice, happy and giving compliments... feels like a family owned upscale restaurant... Definitely will keep coming back :)

Yelp
Can a restaurant be any better than Xebec? I doubt it. What a delight. I found this place from SF Eater new places list in October. I wasn't expecting much as it had just opened then, but I must say - everything was perfect - the ambience, beautiful and chic decor, absolutely friendly and attentive staff, incredibly tasty food from the very beginning to the end and to top it off? Very very affordable for this quantity and quality! I have since recommended this place to many friends and colleagues, and we will surely be back!
google avatar

Morris R.

Yelp
The meal was incredible - start to finish. Foods and flavors one might not normally mix all fit seamlessly with each other. We had ravioli, sushi, burgers and linguini and it all made sense. Some of the best mocktails in town, too. Because I was such a fan of the food, I will say the decor, which is secondary, can use a little more warmth to create a more intimate feel - maybe adjusting the lighting? But that is a nit and the meal itself was perfection.

Yelp
The food here was quite good, though the service was inconsistent and a bit disappointing. The space was pleasant, but cozy. I would point out that this restaurant is *not* very welcoming of children. Our family of 3 shared the following: 1) Ceviche - quite flavorful 2) Sashimi - tasty 3) Mussels - average (the weak link) 4) Ravioli - delicious 5) Chicken wrap - very good 6) Skirt steak - great 7) Apple tart with matcha ice cream - excellent We also enjoyed our cocktails and mocktails. The service was not the greatest. Our waitress was not very welcoming of our child (an articulate, well-behaved 6 year old with a sophisticated palate), even though we had an early reservation (5:45pm). In addition, our mains took a while to come out. The space was pleasant, though our table felt tight, and we kept running out of space for everything we ordered. Overall, while I really enjoyed the food, I didn't have the most positive overall experience, because I didn't feel very welcome and I found our waitress cold and unfriendly. This place is definitely *not* kid-friendly.

Yelp
Incredible food and cocktails! Got lucky to get the private room which was a great place to chat! Enjoyed all the food we got, the recommendations were on point! Even though we were in the private room, the service was great!

Yelp
Ceviche is yummy Great Nicoise salad Good seabass and linguini Please remove the pits from olives in the salad

Yelp
I had a great experience at Xebec, it's a cute spot in the old Sonder building. The cauliflower with goat cheese was a delightful combination, and the eggplant parcels and fried Brie were delicious. The salad was well-portioned, and the chicken wrap was tasty and substantial. Our server was friendly and gave excellent recommendations. The only downside was the mains taking a bit long to arrive. Overall, I highly recommend Xebec for its flavorful dishes and excellent service.

Yelp
Food good service good but it appeared annoying women (manager?) created havoc. STRESSFUL but enjoyed watching for the entrainment.

Yelp
Pros: food, cocktails, ambiance Had the opportunity to have a fun dinner as a group of 4 here. The restaurant is still pretty new but the service was on point and attentive. Cocktails were excellent. Food was fun and inventive, with an interesting combination of Mediterranean and Japanese flavors. We ended up just eating a bunch of tapas dishes and didn't even have to order an entree. A few tips: parking is a nightmare in the area so just take a ride. The restaurant is small so ideally don't go over 4 in your group. The restaurant also gets noisy so keep that in mind when you're choosing your dining companion(s) and the ambiance you're going for. All in all, it's perfect for a fun night out and just a short walk from Hayes Valley. Recommended!
google avatar

Elena K.

Yelp
Excellent addition tot he Hayes Valley neighborhood. Situated on the busy Gough Street, there is lots of nearby street parking. Look for the blue awning. This restaurant is just steps away from SF Wine and Cheese and Rich Table. Enter to a welcoming full bar with non-alcoholic options as well as unique and fresh cocktails. They have a happy hour that extends to the entire restaurant--not just the bar. Excellent service and fresh healthy food options. I tried the Fattoush salad with skirt steak and the focaccia bread. Both were amazing. My new favorites. I'll be back. Check this place out!

Yelp
It was a such an experience to have dinner last night at Xebec in San Francisco. The fusion of Mediterranean and Japanese-inspired flavors was both unique and delicious. The atmosphere was stylish and very comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxed evening out. The fresh ingredients really stood out, and the diverse menu offered something for everyone. Excellent service! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
What a treat! We came for an early dinner before a concert on Saturday. The interior is small (like most SF establishments), but tables are creatively arranged and patrons are seated in a timely manner so you are too close to other diners. The table settings are colorful and fun--small triangular blue plates which complement the serving platters, and shiny flatware and glassware. I especially appreciated the servers who were very attentive in refilling water glasses, and maintaining a clean tabletop with interim wipes between plate clearing. We also did not feel rushed to order or to finish each course. For our feast, we started with cocktails: the Flowers not Fists was a lovely pink color with floating flower petals, and wafted the aroma of roses with every swirl--lightly sweet and very floral; I had a sip of the Xebec and Chill, and found it sweet, strong and flavorful--it was immensely enjoyed by my dinner-mate. Our server, Kevin was so friendly and helpful in describing dishes, and suggested that we could order 4-6 items as the plates are meant for sharing. We decided to order two plates from each section, and Kevin brought them out in pairs. We started with the Patatas Brava and the Roasted Cauliflower. The two dishes had similar flavors, and went well together. Each bite was tasty by itself, and delectable with the included sauces. The cauliflower also had a good size hunk of goat cheese that made each bite extra creamy. Next was the Hamachi Sashimi and Grilled Octopus. The hamachi was beautifully arranged into four towers: each with hamachi, citrus slice, olive tapanade and slivers of serano pepper. The flavors all blended and the hamachi was so buttery fresh! The Grilled Octopus was so perfectly grilled and seated on dollops of edamane and kale, and drizzled with vinaigrette and crunchy chickpeas. Our final course was Bluefin Tuna with Kale and the Salmon Tournedos. The Tuna was lightly seared and served with a kale and persimmon salad layered on top of chevre spread, and sprinkled with a generous amount of pomegranate seeds and crunchy nuts. The Salmon was served on a bed of delightfully sauced wild rice and mustard greens and topped with fresh curly endive. Both entrees were so colorful and tasty. Xebec is a new and intriguing restaurant if you want to try out a new fusion of flavors, while being spoiled by attentive servers. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
My friend and I dined at the bar, and although the restaurant was bustling, both the food and service were outstanding. We savored expertly crafted Xebec margaritas and shared several incredible dishes: the flavorful patatas bravas, a standout kale salad topped with fresh tuna, and a must-try sea bass. The portions were generous, leaving us perfectly satisfied with our shared plates. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful private room, and parking was surprisingly easy in Hayes Valley. Xebec is a gem worth experiencing--don't miss out!

Yelp
Overall loved this meal! The Cauliflower was the highlight followed by the fish. Wish the plates were a bit larger but would definitely come back. Great service and the space is beautiful

Yelp
How refreshing to experience a new and inspired restaurant. The cocktails are incredibly original, with the garnishes made-in house. Try the Rumble on Gough if you want to be transported to a chaise lounge in Bali. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the hamachi sashimi, the patatas bravas (a new spin on the traditional Spanish version, much more saucy and full of flavor), and, a happy surprise, the eggplant parcels. Good texture and a touch of sweetness. A completely new take on a vegetable that I don't usually eat. Can't wait to return and try even more of the menu here!

Sara-Fleur S.

Yelp
Really great gem. Outstanding food and service. The puttanesca with the bruschetta is to die for. Rest of the meal was very creative and delicious. The broth of the pasta was perfect and the steak as well. Will definitely come back. Cocktails were great too, tried the elderflower one (flowers not fists) and it was excellent. Strongly recommend.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in the city perhaps. The ceviche, the patatas bravas, the rose cocktail and desert - i bring all my friends in town here. Will keep returning

Yelp
I attended a business dinner earlier this week. The restaurant was entirely reserved for this private event. The food was delicious! And the service was great. The two gentlemen who were serving our group were very attentive and fun to interact with. Would definitely consider if I were hosting a private dinner in the future.

Hadar D.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and great service. Food was pretty average though for me compared to other places I've tried in SF, and only just slightly more expensive than I'd expect for what we got. I was excited about the Mediterranean Japanese fusion angle but the menu ended up not really having much that lived up to that marketing. The ceviche was mostly tomatoes and bell peppers rather than fish, and the chips served with the salmon dip broke too easily.

Mary K H.

Yelp
They are supposed to be open at 5:00. I stood at the door yesterday looking at a dark restaurant until 5:15. The phone message also states that they are open at 5:00. I can't help but to think that they are out of business and permanently closed.

Audrey S.

Yelp
My husband and I encountered this new charming restaurant in Hayes Valley. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth. We sat at the bar, our bartender/server Amir was pleasant, attentive, and he made great cocktails. The food was delicious and well presented by the chef. Every dish we had, he brought them out to us, which made the dining meaningful. The concept of Mediterranean and Japanese fusion had my pallet amazed. I highly recommend Xebec. Great service, ambiance, food, drinks, and quality.

Lyn W.

Yelp
What a wonderful dinner! The food and service were both fantastic. There a so many fun, creative choices on the menu, our only problem was trying to decide. A great place if you want to share a wide variety. It's like tapas but with Japanese influence. Highly recommend the spicy tuna hand roll with babaghanoush. The servers were all really friendly and efficient, with everyone doing whatever needed to be done. Dishes arrived at a perfect pace and were cleared as soon as they were empty. We'll be back!

Yelp
A comfortable yet upscale neighborhood gem has entered the chat. My friends and I had a great time having dinner and drinks here. The menu is pescatarian friendly, and has something for everyone. I had a super healthy grain bowl with salmon. Very California, ha!

Yelp
Great food served by gorgeous, friendly and courteous waitresses and waiters! Quiet and elegant dining area. Will do it again!!

Yelp
Great new restaurant near all the venues like the Opera House and SF Jazz. The mix of flavors is fantastic.

Jean-Francois D.

Yelp
Just divine. The combination of flavors, tastes and textures is just incredible. It could only be appreciated by food connoisseurs with a very developed and dedicates palate. A new experience in cuisine. The service is extremely friendly and efficient. Georges, the chef owner is always around to check on his customers. The restaurant was completely remodeled with taste and class, it's just beautiful. To make everything even better, I think the price are just right, especially for San Francisco!

Yelp
Great food, great service, lovely ambience. The place is tastefully decorated. We had focaccia (with really delicious puttanesca sauce), spicy tuna roll (my kid, who is picky, said it was made flawlessly) , ahi nicoice, beef/lamb burger (really juicy) that came with potatoes with very interesting and delicious seasoning sauce, and the Fattoush-the best I've had in years. Everything was delicious. But even more so, the service was great, everyone was very friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome there.

Charmane C.

Yelp
Xebec is a fantastic new restaurant in Hayes Valley. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are welcoming and wonderful. We couldn't possibly say enough positive things about the food. We had a range of salad, sushi, grilled veggies, fish and even a burger. Across the board the flavors were extraordinary. Every detail down to the dinnerware was carefully chosen and beautifully presented. You've got to go to Xebec as soon as possible for an amazing dining experience !

Nicolas P.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful, the ambiance is perfect. The food was great, the portions were large, the Martini was done perfectly by Jason and Chef Georges was super friendly. we're definitely going back!

Kepola I.

Yelp
Great customer service! Food was also very delicious! The relaxed ambiance was superb, this was due to the attention to detail by the servers and those in the kitchen as well as there was little wait time between us finishing a course and the next one coming out. Overall it was a very delightful experience and I would eat here again

Yelp
Had dinner on Saturday night, during their first week of business. The decor is amazing and the food and service was equally superb. Had a few apps and Sea Bass as my entree, and it was delicious and generous portions. They have a beautiful private dining room, as well. Welcome to the Hayes Valley Neighborhood!

Evan M.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Great ambience and friendly staff. Skirt steak was delicious. Also try the ceviche. Will definitely be returning for more.

Yelp
The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming and the service was fine. All 3 appetizers were really intriguing and refreshing.

Yelp
We messed up by not taking photos, but everything was beautifully presented and delicious! Great service, with wait ataff checking in on us frequently.

Yelp
The food is really tasty and the servers are good! We've been twice already since this restaurant opened recently. It's a clean, somewhat upscale (but still can be casual) restaurant
