Everything in this hotel felt relaxing and calming. Loved the huge mattresses, the stylish bathroom, the housekeeping. Sometimes they even folded my jacket that I had left on a chair! Breakfast buffet was large and varied, constantly replenished and the coffee machine made mostly everything. My only remarks are that the hotel offers beach towels only "on specific months" (located on an island, so it would make sense to just have them available!) and that the coffee machine is suddenly off limits after breakfast. They even covered it with a hood when a couple of students from my group had a cup in the afternoon.

Great central Chora location, more budget end price range and our rooms were large enough, with huge and very comfortable king size beds. The shower can be used standing up/rainfall style and there's plenty of wardrobe cupboard space. When you arrive there is no cover sheet on the bed, this is left folded for you to put on the bed yourself!!! I found it odd that when I arrived back at my room one afternoon, the receptionist AND housekeeping were both in my room, while the hotel reception desk was left unattended. Both of them seemed easer to be in the room doing things even when I said it was ok for them to leave. After giving me a new bath towel (but not a hand towel) the receptionist went back downstairs and sat in reception!!! There is a hose next to the toilet (presumably for cleaning your bum and/or the toilet ?? I didn't touch it, but noticed the housekeeping lady placed a spare toilet roll directly on it. Eughhhh. Also, under the sink there is a pull out out cupboard where they leave spare toilet rolls. There are also rusty mouldy hinges in this cupboard, again pretty gross. They could do with replacing the fridge with something bigger. Items and bottles barely stay in, and often fall out when the fridge door is opened. The balcony is so small that even a tiny petite slim human being struggles to turn around on it, and don't even think about getting the second chair out as t is impossible to walk past it. This is dangerous, someone could fall over the balcony. Please refurbish these to make them a bit wider. There is no welcome drink or any frills like that. The air conditioning isn't very powerful so it takes a while for the room to cool, and it switches itself off if you open your balcony door so you can either barricade yourself in your room and shut the world out to be cooler, or open your door to enjoy the views and bake. Great hotel for napping in the hot heat of the afternoons before emerging in the evening when everything comes alive and everyone steps out. Just be aware that it will be noisy with loud music in the evenings, since the hotel is located right in the hub of the night time buzz. This didn't bother me, you can block some of it out by closing you balcony door and shutters, but bring headphones or earplugs if this is going t be a big problem for you. Plenty of plug sockets and lights around the room.

We had an amazing couple of nights at the Xenia Hotel. We arrived at the Airport with a 10 minute taxi into the Town Centre. The Xenia Hotel is in a fantastic central location to everything, The Port, Restaurants, Ferry Offices, Activities & The Temple are all a walking distance away from the Hotel. The Breakfast Buffet is good with plenty of choices to suit everyone. The reception staff were phenomenal from the start with all of our needs including a really great Laundry Service to anyone that requires it. Really happy with the Xenia Hotel

Stayed as a couple in August 22, the hotel is right in the centre, it’s clean and modern the room we had 102 was lovely, a great size with modern bathroom, although only one light. It had double doors onto a very small balcony. With a narrow view of the port. The room overlooked the shops and opposite were a bar and restaurant. We arrived expecting noise and it was noisy, the doors do help but it still goes on till 3am. If your worried about the noise the chemist round the corner sells ear plugs for €1. We found the staff polite but didn’t do more than the basics we asked about car hire and no answer, we asked about boat trips no answer. All the other islands we have stayed on the staff have been super helpful. Only one pillow in the room, just ask for two, we have found all the Greek hotels we have stayed in provide one. And no kettle……again this seems to be a Greek thing as all the hotels have been the same, although some can provide one. Next time I am taking a travel kettle. The biggest negative for me was the breakfast, very basic, and it states cold breakfast but there were eggs and bacon, all in a hot dish but were stone cold, this is very poor food hygiene eggs need to be kept at the correct temperature. We only had breakfast once in our three days. We loved Naxos, the hotel was nice, would I come back? Not sure

Right in the middle of the action of the town. The rooms at the back are surprisingly quiet for restful nights. Great quality breakfast and great value. Staff are extra friendly and helpful. Totally recommend the hotel and Nexos in general.

Breakfast was very good, consisting of various products, cooked and continental. All staff are welcoming and polite. Will sure visit again. Thank you for my families great stay.

Excited to start our vacation with a suite at this hotel with two balconies. Well, the website description and reality are very different. The 'suite' that was to have a king bed and sofa bed, had a king bed and two twin beds. No couch, no place for two people to even sit in the room without sitting on the bed. When I asked the front desk about the description, they informed me that a sofa bed was one of the twin beds that could be folded into an ottoman. ||The balconies were very small, about the width of a plastic chair. My vision of sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view immediately vanished. The room was also very plain and basic. It was relatively clean with the exception of a dirty towel that was left inside the bathroom vanity - maids must have missed it.||While the room was a great disappointment, the staff exceed any expectations I had. They were great. The breakfast was also a very pleasant surprise. ||So, if you are looking for a BASIC room in a great location, this is the place. Just no views except of the neighboring shops.

Super clean, perfect location in the heart of Naxos Town. Very modern rooms, well-appointed, spacious lobby area and friendly, helpful staff. Fun tourist shopping and fabulous restaurants right outside the door. Short walk to St. George Beach
