Great central Chora location, more budget end price range and our rooms were large enough, with huge and very comfortable king size beds. The shower can be used standing up/rainfall style and there's plenty of wardrobe cupboard space.
When you arrive there is no cover sheet on the bed, this is left folded for you to put on the bed yourself!!!
I found it odd that when I arrived back at my room one afternoon, the receptionist AND housekeeping were both in my room, while the hotel reception desk was left unattended. Both of them seemed easer to be in the room doing things even when I said it was ok for them to leave. After giving me a new bath towel (but not a hand towel) the receptionist went back downstairs and sat in reception!!!
There is a hose next to the toilet (presumably for cleaning your bum and/or the toilet ?? I didn't touch it, but noticed the housekeeping lady placed a spare toilet roll directly on it. Eughhhh.
Also, under the sink there is a pull out out cupboard where they leave spare toilet rolls. There are also rusty mouldy hinges in this cupboard, again pretty gross.
They could do with replacing the fridge with something bigger. Items and bottles barely stay in, and often fall out when the fridge door is opened.
The balcony is so small that even a tiny petite slim human being struggles to turn around on it, and don't even think about getting the second chair out as t is impossible to walk past it. This is dangerous, someone could fall over the balcony. Please refurbish these to make them a bit wider.
There is no welcome drink or any frills like that.
The air conditioning isn't very powerful so it takes a while for the room to cool, and it switches itself off if you open your balcony door so you can either barricade yourself in your room and shut the world out to be cooler, or open your door to enjoy the views and bake.
Great hotel for napping in the hot heat of the afternoons before emerging in the evening when everything comes alive and everyone steps out.
Just be aware that it will be noisy with loud music in the evenings, since the hotel is located right in the hub of the night time buzz. This didn't bother me, you can block some of it out by closing you balcony door and shutters, but bring headphones or earplugs if this is going t be a big problem for you.
Plenty of plug sockets and lights around the room.
