The biggest tourist attraction in Tetovo fascinated me. Beautiful architecture and colorful facade. There is an elderly man who takes care of the mosque and is always there to help you with information. I'm not sure if he knows English, but I'm sure he speaks Macedonian and Albanian.
The custodian of the mosque will take you inside and show you the interior, which is even more beautiful. The courtyard of the mosque is well decorated, and there are the graves of the two sisters who built the mosque. The mosque is located in the center, in an excellent location, next to the river Pena. The entrance to the mosque is free, and if you come by car, parking is difficult to find. The mosque is also open for visits on Sundays.
Worth a visit.
