The architecture and Grand Theater venue at Xiqu are simply stunning. We came here to watch Lea Salonga perform and enjoyed the show and acoustics so much. The staff were helpful in directing us to our seats or the restrooms as needed, and it never felt too congested even if it was a full house. Of course, don't arrive to your show at the last minute. Be sure to come early enough to admire and explore the building, use the restrooms early enough, before your show.

I would like to see a performance here. The architecture is grand. There are informative historical displays throughout. The ones I saw were related to the Peking Opera. There are several restaurants here, as well as clean bathrooms. Lovely point of interest.

A nicely-designed theater equipped with eateries, spacious indoor space and with an outdoor view over looking the Victoria Harbour. It’s accessible via MTR or buses. The closest MTR station is Austin station, it’s connected through an underground walkway to the complex.

I appreciated the comfortable seating, excellent acoustics, and spacious layout throughout. The convenient MTR access via Austin station and nearby dining options make it easy to spend a full afternoon here. Whether catching a performance or simply exploring the beautiful public spaces, this is a must-visit cultural destination.

Interesting architecture. The Grand Theatre interior was beautiful; seats are comfortable and generously spaced. The acoustic is also not bad.
The main entrance is hugely open to the outside without a gate/door so that area could get hot and humid in summer days like now.
Directly connected to the Austin Station so it’s very convenient if taking the train. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Haven’t been to the shops and restaurants yet so can’t comment on those.

A stunning architectural space dedicated to Cantonese opera and other traditional arts, the Xiqu Centre is well worth a visit for its peaceful atmosphere, elegant design, and immersive exhibits. It’s easy to spend a relaxing moment there, soaking in the fusion of tradition and modernity, even without attending a performance.
Perfect for the culturally curious and lovers of local heritage. 😎

Xiqu center is a modern and very convenient venue for artistic performances. Having only known Beijing opera before, I was so impressed and glad to watch a 1 and a half hour intro into Cantonese opera by the Tea House Rising Star troupe consisting of their four pillars (singing, music, performance and martial arts), especially with some dimsuns and tea on the side. Great choice of this is your first time.

Yelp
Interesting entrance to the building opening up to an oval ceiling. There are some restaurants inside the building and it's directly linked to the Austin road MTR station. Pretty convenient site.

Yelp
Sloppily managed. The education and exhibition hall at the Koshan Theatre is much better than the one here. The managers do not know how to set up an exhibition seriously. They set up signs to direct people to a shuttle going to West Kowloon Cultural District. But once you follow the signs to the MTR Station, there are no more signs and you are lost.
