Great spot for a date or family time. However, if you’re a real bowler, It’s not the place. The balls wont ‘hook’ perfectly. They have great selection of appetizers - Pizza, Wings and fries. Cool bar area with lots of T.V.’s to watch the sports games. Pool tables and other fun games.

Favorite place in Little Tokyo, great ambience and perfect for hanging out with friends, family or your partner ❤️ Food options vary and the bar is always a refresher. Billiards and bowling sometimes have a wait time but just go on a weekday and you won’t wait so long. Plenty of games to choose from, staff is ALWAYS friendly and so is the security. Place is also ALWAYS clean so shoutout to the cleaning staff 10/10 Been coming here since I was 19 ✨💖🙏 So this place will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️ They check IDS and badges on weekends 💝✌️🤪

Irresponsible bar staff served my wife a regular Corona instead of a non-alcoholic one. Naturally, she took a few sips. She is 5 years sober and this is the first time this has ever happened. Please educate staff on the significance of serving NA when it is ordered. It should be treated with the same level of care as not serving peanuts to a person with a peanut allergy.

Went on a weekday and it was almost empty so we had so much fun! Many arcade machines and fun bowling experience 💕 Go on a Monday for discounted bowling rates!

Awful service and terrible experience. I made a reservation for a lane at 5:30. They texted me at 5:13 and told me my lane was ready. I had two small children and didn’t get to the desk until 5:20 which at that time they informed me that they had given my lane away because I didn’t meet their 5 minute grace period policy. Also more than half the arcade games were broken so there was nothing left for us to really do. Horrendous night and we won’t be coming back.

Came on a Sunday about 2 pm and it was really empty. Lanes, shoes and balls need serious replacement. No A/C so it was very stuffy. Didn't try the food and the bathrooms needed attention. Best part of this place is the 4 hour free validation.

Fun place for a casual hangout - played the arcade a bit and had some broken machines. Take my money which they quickly reimbursed me for. But there were several machines on free play mode which made up for that 😀 #SledRacingGame!

My friends and I decided to try Xlanes since it was a middle point between our locations. I have been in this plaza many times for the market, taiyaki stand and Play Kpop Boba Shop. The times I've been here, I've never really seen the place packed or anything despite it being a weekend. This time we went on a Wednesday night during the summer. There were some other people playing on the lanes but the arcade itself was pretty empty. The clerks at the counter were very patient with us being a party of 6. We also decided to order pizza and drinks to accompany our bowling time. The food was large portioned and was delicious as well! After bowling, we decided to hit up the karaoke. The room was large and well air condtioned. This was great especially with the amount of jumping and dancing that we did. We were able to add on extra time to our session as well. I believe with validation, we were able to get 3 hours free. Keep in mind that they do bag checks after a certain time and water bottled are requested to place held at the check in area. I think this a great place to stop on by in the area. I think it's a great value for a clean space. I do hope that there is more to do in the plaza in the future. It often feels quiet inside even on weekends.

We called to confirm whether we could walk in and get a bowling alley, to which the staff told us yes. However, once we arrived 10 minutes later, they told us we had to wait 45 minutes... Also they have a "no hat" rule and you have to leave hats at a table near the security check in where nobody is watching over your stuff, so it's easy to get your hats stolen. We wanted to keep our hats with us and just not wear them... to which they said no. Never experienced this before at a bowling alley! All-in-all in a sketchy location on the outskirts of skid row with unreasonable security rules and incompetent staff. Do not go here!!

Had to visit this place a second time due to the obscure hat rule for an arcade venue. Almost didn't return but decided to give it a try. Read the sign in my pictures before attending, the food looks basic, and lanes are shared tables. The hat rule is obscure because they allow (dressy) hats but no caps and beanies in an arcade/bowling venue. Makes no sense because a hat is a hat. Covers your face and it isn't a club, it's an arcade. To add, a guy next to my lane wore a cap the whole time, he must've snuck it in. The staff didn't say anything to him. I digress, also, make sure to bring ID at all times due to active bar inside. They check. Restrooms are located adjacent restaurant. The bowling experience was decent, semi clean and the prices range $50-65 depending on days and specials. Shoes $4 additional. The price is worth it because you can have up to 6 people per lane. I don't like the force players to share a table. My first time experience that at a bowling alley. Needs two separate tables even if they're going to be small. Shouldn't have to share tables if two separate parties want to order food and drinks. The floor staff are accommodating and there's more than bowling available. Arcade and billiard rooms are options. I can't vouch for the food, didn't look appetizing. Didn't order anything but sparkling water with lime. X lanes could be better with experience, I do like some of the dress policy but if you're not going to allow hats, make it all hats. Doesn't make sense for (dressy) hat acceptability. Something must've happened in the past for the dress policy but needs revision. But please attend this venue respectfully. It's affordable and family friendly. Let's keep it that way. They do validate parking.

My family and I have been coming to Xlanes for years. One of our favorite places. The food is decent and the service is great. Highly recommend!

Do not give this place your business! I never write bad reviews but this place sucks. We drove all the way here with my out of town mother-in-law and they would not let us in because I was wearing a ball cap. My husband wore a hat and that was no problem, but because I had a baseball hat I wasn't allowed in. The manager said to leave it out in the open and they assume no responsibility if it gets stolen. I am simply shocked about how unfriendly and unreasonable the manger was.

We came here with a big group and got two lanes. The server was amazing and ontop of all of our orders. With all of us ordering so many things he was so patient and nice. Everything was nicely clean and food was tasty. When we were walking out two of the staff said happy birthday to my older son. We really appreciate everything!

We're pretty sure that this places rent lease is gonna expire soon so the management decided to put no money into maintenance of anything and is just trying to see how much money they can get out of things before it runs down to the ground. - bowling doesn't work half the time. The pins just kept falling down instead of resetting, the whole lane would freeze and need multiple resets, and they would randomly give out strikes even when the player didn't score a strike. But yet its still $65/lane per hour. more than half the arcade games don't work - we paid for the beer pong game and a ball never game out. They refunded our dollar then just unplugged the machine lol - 4/5 of the basketball games don't keep score. The one machine that was working just stopped working mid game and shut down. - the two clown ball games that seemed fun were completely out of order - the score screen for the button hitting game doesn't even work. - the only good error was that the dance machine game was broken so kept resetting without having to pay All of the facilities on site are not kept up to standard -out of the five bathroom faucets only one worked lol - multiple stalls had doors that didn't fully close or lock - the photo booth that's $6 had broken speakers and really wonky color quality. It's honestly wild I don't think I've ever paid money for an establishment that clearly gives zero fs to upkeep anything. Borderline scammy highly don't recommend. They validate parking for four hours though lol

Love XLanes for bowling compared to Bowlero. XLanes is more cheaper and has an arcade/billard areas. We all had much fun here! After your bowling sesh, you can walk to Avenue 26 tacos near by for some tacos! Parking is located in the garage and you'll need a parking validation for free parking.

So much fun and so hidden! My family rented out the private room with 4 bowling lanes and 4 couches, & we bought platters of food and drinks. We were accommodated politely by the staff here....at first, we, a party of 25 ppl and over, were the only ones here! Then, ppl started coming! Parking was underground and free for 4 hours with validation! We had such a good time! We all bowled and ate, then, moved to our karaoke room which was lit and the biggest karaoke room! We all sang and danced before leaving! We had a ball!

Would give zero stars if possible. YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY WILL GET STOLEN IF YOU COME HERE. I was told to leave my hat at the door, and was never told theft was an issue here. If I did I would've left it in my car. When I was leaving the hat had been stolen and the security treated me with such disrespect and acted like I was insane for even being upset. This hat was a gift from my late father and had a tremendous sentimental value, and they couldn't have cared less. I talked to two managers and they refused to even reimburse me for the hat. A terrible place to go, there was also puke and urine all over the bathroom, and we saw what looked to be a homeless person sleeping in the corner of the billiards room. DONT COME HERE.

My company hosted an outing for the LA office here (about 30-40 of us) last night, so I can't speak for the prices in this review! We used one of the private bowling lane areas, with 6 lanes sectioned off just for us. I didn't know there was a bowling alley here, and I really enjoyed it! The venue is on the top floor of the mall, and it's HUGE, with a bar area, a restaurant area, sooo many lanes to bowl, billiards, a large arcade, and even karaoke! Our private section was excellent because we got our own space to hang out, a dinner buffet, and plenty of seating and table space, but it was just us. We got really into cheering each other on and celebrating, and it was a perfect team-building event. The food was good for a bowling alley buffet and the drinks were strong. Believe it or not, my fave was the salmon florentine, and we were offered a variety of pizzas, chicken skewers, salads, sliders, and pastas. Servers came to check on us frequently and were all very friendly and accommodating. Tip - They do have a security stand/metal detector, so they won't pat you down but make sure to leave your pepper spray, knives or anything else in the car. Highly recommend for a party or group event!

Typically I get great service, but I think I made my mistake by coming here on a lunch break because it was fairly busy, Nonetheless I'm usually helped fairly quick We sat down, 3:07 and by 3:25 We hadn't been helped but she checked our ID's?? We weren't drinking and just trying to order a pizza for our Hour lunch. The girl had red hair and left us waiting for 19 minutes.... It wasted my lunch hour and was a sad time. To everyone else that worked here and has helped me before GREAT! but girlie you should check in with others before waiting on one customer hand and foot But it wasn't entirely her fault because her coworkers didn't help her at all. However when the guy clocked in I expected he'd help us, but they went to someone that already had their food so we left It was hellish, but now I know it's only a safe space during the weekdays The girl had glasses and red hair

Food: Our food was catered due to our group size. Food is okay, nothing healthy and only Carbs available. When I looked at the food available, it leaned towards less expensive simple food. Service was just okay, nothing outstanding - staff did their work and that's about it. Ambiance was fun and clean. If you are looking for a fun time out Bowling - give this place a shot.

First time here for office holiday party and was impressed with the setup and food. Had a lot of fun bowling and socializing with coworkers. The location is conveniently located by my workplace, and the staff was very friendly as well.

Outstanding service and great experience for a large party.What I really appreciate was the group's flexibility. We wound booking more Lanes than we needed and the staff was quick to help us convert the extra booking to a karaoke room that we were able to start after our bowling. They brought out a table to set up our food orders and they even moved the table and food to the karaoke area when we migrated. Awesome food great service and tons of fun for my group around 20. Definitely making this my spot for group get togethers in LA.

My friend tonight went here on a Sunday afternoon. It was a lot of fun actually. Very small but still a vibe. It wasn't overly crowded and was able to sip on some good alcohol and play some arcade games after we ended up bowling. I definitely plan to come back

Food and drinks was good been coming here for years . Last night was my worst experience. 2 Security Guards followed me into parking yelling profane insults to me and was trying their best to pepper spray me both guards !! Y'all stood there for at least 5 minutes going back and forth cursing me out and taunting me so you can pepper spray me!! Unprovoked and unprofessional!

My family and I went bowling on a whim on a Sunday morning and loved every minute of it! The workers were attentive and helpful from the moment we walked in when explaining their prices and services. Once we payed and received our bowling shoes, we also ordered to food to have while bowling. The server who took our orders was very helpful and customer service was 10/10! There weren't as much people in the place which was nice because it was quiet and there even was an arcade on the side for extra fun! Would love to come back here because the entire experience had us leaving with no complaints.

I've visited this location 3 times, and I do not believe I will give them any more opportunities. The staff at the counter where you reserve kareoke, bowling are so rude. It seems like they are always in a bad mood, and will cut you off mid-sentence if you ask a question. No smiles, no greetings. Also, the karaoke rooms are not serviced, so if you need anything, you have to leave your TIMED room, to order food or drinks, or get help with anything. Also, no apple pay, but they take your physical card as "deposit". How are customers supposed to buy food or drink if you hold the card hostage and don't offer a reasonable alternative? Such a shame because otherwise the food is solid and it would be a fun place to continue visiting.

Fun place for family or a date. Service in dining area sux. We broke a bottle and no one came to clean up, after I asked twice. My nephew had to go grab a broom and duster to sweep up the glass.

I visited here Wednesday evening and the machines were charging us when we swiped the cards but not letting us play. a few of the games were broken. I didn't play bowling or try the food. I would come back but if the arcade machines are just going to rob the card of tokens I might not. staff was helpful and friendly

They double-charged me when I reserved a lane. I've called them twice, emailed three times, and even asked in person, but no one has been able to help me. When I called and went in person, they told me I had to email them because "the manager who handles this isn't in right now," but no one has responded to my emails even after following up three times. This is ridiculous and wildly incompetent. Additionally, half of the arcade games were either broken, glitchy, wouldn't read our card, or weren't counting/showing the scores. Please consider going somewhere else.

I had an amazing time the only thing was I wanted 2hours of bowling but was told I could only do 1 hours due to it being busy. Not fair I waited120 minutes to get a lane which was fine cause we ate pizza and appetizers at the bar. Food was great. Also they have a policy after 7pm where you need to show ID to get in. My 21 year old walked out to get her friend but was told she couldn't come in without ID. I had to stop bowling because I had to go get her. Only complain I have. Other than that I will definitely go back

Made reservations for the Westwood room. The room was clean. The private room worked very well for our daughter's 13th birthday. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The food and drinks were good and price correct. The. Chicken tenders plater was a favorite among our guest. We highly recommend it. Our guest left happy with 2 hrs of bowling.

Favorite lanes to play because it has a bar karaoke your own private lanes and arcade for the kids as well. it is very convenient since there is food located i the building if your not up for the pizza and wings.

A lot of the games were broken. They either were not working at all or the game was working but it wasn't keeping score. The staff were friendly though and gave us credit back on our card for broken games and even extra credit. We did have to wait a bit for the good games since they didn't have many that was working well. Overall I think it's a good place to just kill some time and have some fun but just keep in mind that a lot of games are broken

Had a great time bowling. Ordered a Bacon Swiss Burger which was surprisingly really good. Enjoyed the happy hour drinks. Staff was nice. Didn't even realize this place existed in the mall!

I've been here multiple times to bowl, but tonight was horrible. How is the security enforcing hat rules? but the staff is wearing branded hats. The security is a joke.

You know, for what it is, they do a really nice job. It's a huge space on the top floor so you forget that you're towntown, on the third floor of basically a mall. Bowling alleys are well maintained and nicely set up, the food is good for bowling alley food, more like bar food. The video games are a bit dated, a few are broken, that cost them that fifth star, but the karaoke rooms are nicely set up and fun. All in all, a nice event space, for sure.

What the hell is up with the no cap policy??!! Its an arcade place with billiards darts bowling but they refuse people to.go inside without depositing your cap. The heck

Great vibe for an activity-based night out! I booked 2 lanes for a group of 10 people with minimal hassle and the staff was very helpful in getting us all set up and started. Ordered a 4 pitchers as well as the mozz sticks and sweet potato fries - food isn't mindblowing but will do the trick while you are drinking and bowling. Arcade section was cool too with a large variety of games. However, some of the basketball machines were stuck so the balls didn't release, or only had 1 ball in the machine, which was a little frustrating (but they have like 6 games to shoot on) Parking is a little confusing - essentially the lot is in a separate building from the mall itself and only way to get through is via ground floor.

Beer reasonably priced. Arcades are a bit pricey for what they have. Also, more than 50 % of them were broken. Service at the counter is ok, a lot of young talent. Food was ok nothing special. If you have nothing better, check it out!

Came here for billiards at 8pm on a Friday and were first on the waitlist. To wait, for a couple of drinks and a spinach artichoke dip (terrible. Do not get this). I like the way everything is organized For pool, you put your name down and they call you when it's ready, then you can come back and get the balls/pool sticks and pay when you come back ($25/hr on weekends and $20 on weekdays) For the restaurant/bar, you can let them know what general area you'll be at and they'll bring you your food. And then food/drinks allowed anywhere as well. The billiards area is small. Only 4 tables but once you get a table, it's nice bc it's a secluded area for your group with lots of tables and space for groups. We could eat and play and felt very private. The spinach artichoke dip was the worst I've ever had. Worst than frozen. Seriously a NO. Also $15 and half the size of a regular order. Only like 20 chips and the cheese was a hard layer on top. Clearly I'm still very upset by this.

Looking for a nice place with a great crowd of friends , bday celebrations, great food and drinks, hardly any kids? If you answered yes to any or all these key features the XlanesLa is the perfect place. We came to celebrate a birthday with a small party of 6 on a Wednesday night so we reserved a bowling lane for 1 hour online. It was very simple and a reasonable price . Shoes were an additional $5 and were very comfortable and in great condition. With reserving a lane we received validation for parking for 4hrs free in the parking structure. An absolute plus especially in la. Location unfortunately in my preference would get a zero. Near skidrow lots of aggressive homeless folks and honestly if we didn't have guys in our group I will admit I would be hesitant walking to our car alone at night. The atmosphere and vibe was so amazing. I feel like given the location its truly a hidden gem. Outside was sketchy but inside was very clean and well kept. Everything was in great condition, bowling balls , the lanes, arcades games pool tables were prestine. Our food was incredible and special shoutout to out server Alex who even offered personalized suggestions. Drinks truly elevated our experience. From an ada standpoint everything was very accessible for those of us who use wheelchairs and canes. They also had ramps which was a nice touch as well. My only complaint was there were not enough size 7/8 balls and those of us who use bumpers we ran into minor issues however the team was on top of things with fixing them and even added 10 more mins due to the inconvenience. We were a mixed group of 28-65 year Olds and it was fun for everyone. We especially loved it was not overrun with children and there was something for each person to enjoy. I definitely will be coming back.

If you want to come to X Lanes expect a couple things... the staff is ghetto, the security are like the same dudes that hold down the local sketchy dispensary, you'll be patted down at the entrance, no hats, kiosk machine for loading up a game card is down so you'll have to wait the huge line that the people are trying to bowl in. The bar is not bad 7/10 when empty, drinks are tropical and sweet caters to the younger folk. Womens restroom was a 5/10, Mens restroom 5/10.

I really wanted to love this place, but I just couldn't. Ironically the only event we didn't do here was bowling. We played pool, hit the arcade, and did a 1 hr karaoke room. First off - karaoke: the acoustics were horrible. Way too much treble and the volume was ear splitting. Next - pool room: there are 4 tables and we wound up on one that had a busted rail so whenever you sank a ball there was a 50-50 chance it would fall to the floor or go flying and become a projectile that could have hurt somebody. I would have thought the pool tables would have been the coin operated type, but no - you've got to give up a CC at the register to get the supplies you need before being able to play. At $25/hour it wasn't too bad. Lastly, the arcade, which was probably the biggest disappointment of all. I love claw games and the only claw games they had were along the wall where you enter, which means there was constantly people walking behind you and you getting bumped. Add to that that at least half of the claw machines were inoperable. The arcade games were fun, but the place was a zoo full of 7-year-olds at 10 p.m. on a Saturday. Also half the time the arcade cards didn't work and at $2 a pop it started adding up quickly. Overall hard to recommend. I could see myself returning maybe only under the most extreme circumstances...like at gun point.

It was all right. Went for bowling Friday night. Place wasn't too crowded yet. I do like that they check your vaccine card at the entrance. The people working there were all very nice but not very quick. It took them a while to find our reservation. They also gave us a lane where there was already another party occupying the other lane. Many of the other lanes were empty so why not give us one of the fully empty ones? Our lane also was very glitchy. It skipped a player few times and when the pins reset, not all ten pins came down so we had to clear it a few times before all ten pins appeared. Bathroom was clean.

Love coming here and having a great time. Celebrated my husbands birthday and everyone enjoyed themselves. Lot's of bowling lanes, and karaoke rooms have a lot of selections. All our guest, had a great time, and the service was good.

The premises are secure with vigilant security personnel. Enjoyed the NFL match while seated at their bar section. Our family had an absolutely enjoyable experience, creating cherished memories.
