I first discovered XLIII Coffee via the Coffee Home Brewers group from the Philippines. I live in Hue, Vietnam and I go to Da Nang every week, so upon realizing that it’ll be easy for me to visit a store, I decided to gift myself an extraordinary experience to celebrate my birthday week.
The store was easy to find, it stands out because of its aesthetic and very spacious area.
I was greeted warmly by Dai, who was brewing coffee at the moment. I asked about the racemosa coffee, which was the reason for my visit. He led me to the counter where I can place my order.
I saw boxes of specialty coffees I’ve only been seeing online, it felt like glimpses of celebrities on a red carpet. My eyes went straight to the information cards, where the one with the pink flowers stood out.
Racemosa for my first time at XLIII Coffee was unforgettable. The cutest little beans never fail to steal my heart.
I was also assisted by Bi, one of the many friendly staff of the store. They are all accommodating and knowledgeable.
I asked many questions about the coffees, especially my longtime curiosity about the naming convention of the XLIII products. Loved how organized it was, and finding out what every letter stood for was a delight.
Roy, the team member who took my order, shared some information about the experiences that XLIIII Coffee can offer. I am keen on trying the subscription box, probably when I get more practice in brewing at home.
Nancy was also very informative. Loved her voice and the way she knew how to say “salamat” — it’s nice to know that Filipinos are recognized here as true coffee lovers. 🫶🏼
I just know many people from my country would love the experience. It’ll be a treat for specialty coffee lovers to step foot into this store.
I enjoyed the food as well, I’m a pesto gurlie at heart, so I knew I had to try their pasta. The texture and flavor blended perfectly for me.
Everything was memorable. But the moment of tasting racemosa will echo across many of my writing pieces because every time I’ve tasted the coffee marked a freeze-frame I’d want to capture again and again.
I’ll definitely come back. ✨
